I just love coming here for burritos and tacos, although I would imagine that everything on the menu is fantastic. I just haven’t gotten around to trying everything. You can eat in or order take away, they accept cards, and the service is always super friendly! Do stop by and check this place out! It’s a real gem on Lake Street!

I’m shocked that I’m the first to write this belated review of such a fine Minneapolis eatery. Paneda has kept my friends and I still kicking with full bellies through art school and its aftermath with hefty two-tortilla burritos that I am positive weigh in at over a pound. Be sure to order Mexican-style cheese(by the slab, not the shred), fresh cilantro and avocado(half a fruit). Paneda’s meat selection varies somewhat, but you won’t go wrong with a little adventure; it’s all really fresh and made on-site. I tried tongue for the first time at Paneda: delectably flavorful, but my meal’s epic proportions overloaded its richness, much as though you’d been handed an entire chocolate cake. Vegetarian burritos were my Paneda standard with verde chicken coming in close second. There’s some no-frills seating in the back and along the counter, but Paneda’s mostly a take-out joint. They tend to be open fairly late as well. I’ve moved away now, but nights like this, I miss my Paneda.
