The Ruckus is seriously amazing. I get it every time I order delivery. The Outlaw is tasty as well. Rice and beans are on point and perfect amount. Don’t get me started on the chocolate chili cookie. You guys are great!!!

I love taco cat! Fast and friendly delivery. My favorites are the steak nachos, and the the Mc Fly tacos. You can’t go wrong with any of the burritos either. Everything I’ve tired has been absolutely delicious. The guacamole and beans & rice are also excellent and very flavorful. Highly recommended!

This is some seriously good food. I have only had the Larry tacos over the last several months and they are consistently delish and all I may ever need. When something is good enough that you no longer care about the wait(like Als Breakfast) or the service, or really the cash that much, then you might write about it in Unilocal. Don’t forget the chocolate cookie.

Tried this for the time, kinda disappointed(for the price). The chicken tacos had no flavor tasted like dry boiled chicken, the guacamole was made with under ripe avocados, and the salsa tasted overwhelmingly of liquid smoke. The pork and bean dip were pretty good… maybe I’ll try some of the specialty tacos next time?.. Give it another chance. There are so many great places to get tacos in that area. we’ll see

I was sitting at home basking in the central air when I got a hankering for tacos. I didn’t want to leave my refuge, so I hopped onto my trusted Unilocal app to see what delivered in the area. I’ve lived here about a month now, transplanted from St. Paul, and I am loving the variety in the area. Unfortunately, I now have a place I will probably constantly order from. I got the special tacos(blackened cod– YUM!), refried bean dip, chips, and salsa. First, the tacos. I received 3 fish tacos and oh boy were they delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked and the preserved lemon was such a bold but great touch! Since I can’t eat a lot, I have another 1 – 2 meals from this order and I am so looking forward to it! The beans are delicious. I know they are meant to be a dip, but so darn good I jut ate them with my fork. Plenty of leftovers of that as well. The chips and salsa really took things to another level. The chips are perfectly crisp– that crunch factor I crave so often! The salsa is the perfect blend of smokey flavor and a touch of heat. I really need to find out if they sell it by the jar. I think the fact they deliver by bicycle is a nice touch. I love the touches of personality and humor on their website. Overall, fresh, clearly homemade, tasty as hell food from a company I am more than happy to support. I will be singing praises for days, Taco Cat!

Very good tacos. Blackened cod is one of the best. Take them next door to Eastlake for happy hour $ 3 locally made 9% beer. There’s a patio out on Lake too.

Taco Cat is located in the midtown global market right next to the brewery! Decided to give Taco Cat a go for a late lunch with my husband. We came around 4 pm and it was not at all busy probably because it’s the day before Memorial Day! Which is fine with us for not having to wait in line. We were greeted immediately and the staff was super nice. I ordered the chipotle chicken or chicken tub ha tacos. My husband ordered the outlaw and the ruckus. Pricing on these tacos are a wee bit pricey — I kind of feel like you can slap these ingredients together and make them at home. BUT it’s a feast place to get tacos with company or if you are in no mood to cook! When the tacos came out they were kind of warm but not like fresh hot :(so that was kind of a downer. My chicken tacos were super delicious but I feel the chicken could have been more saucy or not so dry. And the flavor could be a bit more bold. If you’ve had Chino Latinos chicken de tinga tacos, these taste exactly like them. My husband really enjoyed his tacos! The verdict: yes, would return to taco cat and I say give it a try!

Best tacos ever!!! This little gem is hiding in mid town global market, a cool space by itself if you’ve never been, it’s a great way to spend an afternoon when it’s too cold to go outside. Their tacos range from $ 2-$ 4 and some are fancy some are simple, I like the steak and beef here which is rare for me to choose beef for tacos, I’m usually fish shrimp or chicken but their steak is marinated and really tender. Grab your tacos of your choice and mosey down to east lake brew for a beer, great simple Saturday!

Food is solid, but delivery took upwards of 1.5 hours. Totally unacceptable. No real explanation offered either. Not during peak hours but a random Wednesday evening.

I tried Taco Cat over the weekend and woke up the next day craving more. Some friends and I went to Eastlake Brewery and ordered Taco Cat(right next door). The bartenders at Eastlake made it easy to order by just putting the tacos on our beer tabs and ordering for us. Then the food is delivered(very quickly!) to your table. I ordered the McFly tacos and whatever the sauce was on them was the bomb! I will definitely be ordering from Taco Cat again, especially since their delivery area in Minneapolis is quite large.

I stopped by taco cat last weekend with my friends and we ordered tacos. There were a few people ahead of us, but my friend got her tacos within 7 – 10 minutes. I expected mine to arrive right after hers, but they didn’t. After another couple minutes, I decided to inquire about the location of my tacos. Unfortunately, someone took my tacos – whether it was on purpose, or by accident, is still unknown. Regardless, the rad folks at taco cat refunded my entire bill AND made my tacos again. I was impressed with the level of customer service, and the tacos were BOMB. I will definitely stop by taco cat again!

Taco Cat is the new king of tacos. With their newly dedicated store in the Midtown Global Market, now’s a better time than any to try them! With unique taco combinations that can be made into burritos, you can’t lose. They even deliver! They deliver via bicycle, however, so give your delivery drivers some love.

words can’t describe how good taco cat is so I’ve opted for emojis. I highly suggest any burrito. Tacos are great but burritos are amazing. And you know what’s better than a burrito? A breakfast burrito! Yasss taco cat delivers breakfast burritos on the weekend and it’s a great decision. If it’s a Thursday-Sunday they are busy but they’re delivering on their bikes. Completely with the wait and the price, these burritos are the size of a new born.

I order from here a couple times a month. The people on the phone are always fun to chat with and even though I always have some kind of modification the food always comes quickly and exactly how I ordered it. Bonus points for having beer delivery… Extra star for having beer delivery on Sunday.

Taco Cat is like a fine wine, an Edina cougar or those worn-in leather boots you’ve had in your closet for years — it just keeps getting better the longer it’s around. Had I written this order the first few times I ordered from them, it would have been 2 stars. The food wasn’t quite right, the order times were long, they sometimes just didn’t answer the phone for no apparent reason, they hadn’t quite learned how to package everything. But now, they have gotten it down and it’s HEAVEN. 1. Taco delivery. This is the most genius idea since, well, ever. 2. I’ve had everything on the menu(multiple times) and the best thing they make is The McFly taco trio. Spicy chicken tinga, cool cole slaw, crema — minus the standard cilantro, and it’s perfect. 3. They make these spicy chocolate cookies that are so good! I’ve been asking them for the recipe for months with no avail. 4. The dudes on the phone always crack me up. The last time I called in he serenaded me with Weezer’s Suzanne. It was a terrible rendition, but hilarious none-the-less. 5. The guys on bikes(now that I think of it, it’s never ever been a girl…) are quick and speedy; everything you want in someone bringing you tasty tacos. Yes, you’re paying a premium for tacos that you could easily be making yourself, but on those nights where you don’t feel like cooking(often) and you just want to eat some good grub(daily), Taco Cat to the rescue!

Urban Hipster tacos, why not. Tried the steak trio, mainly because I couldn’t substitute pork and chicken as my 2 and 3, but whatever. And the verdict is… underwhelming for the price. $ 12–(after tip) to walk it on over to East Lake brewery – tacos, not that good. And liquid smoke salsa? Taco taxi or Los ocampos for the Win. But nice effort though.

I just had twins and my wife and I were staying in the Mother Baby Center at Abbott Northwestern. We wanted to celebrate with not-hospital-food and one of our nurses recommended delivery from TacoCat. I was instantly intrigued by their website, so I called and ordered the Outlaw taco. The bike courier was very nice, accepted credit card, and merry me in the lobby. When I got back to my room and bit into my first taco, I was so impressed! Taco cat is now my favorite taco in Minneapolis! I would recommend their service, speedy delivering, and food to anyone.

I’ve been so excited to try Taco Cat, and tonight was finally the night! Called the number — during the business hours posted on the website — and a message said that I was now«in line» and they would call back to take my order, no need to leave a message. 30 minutes went by, they never called back. Maybe they’re not open tonight after all?(but why wouldn’t their outgoing message say so? instead it affirmed that I was calling during business hours). Maybe they’re SUPER busy and my call got lost in the mix? Who knows… but no Taco Cat for me. :(Hopefully one day, I will be able to try them and update this review.

The concept is too hipster for the bf so I ordered on a night he wasn’t home and I really liked it! I had the veggie burrito with a side of guac. It was tastey, delivered fast and best of all I love their name. This will definately be a regular delivery joint for me. Best of all: they deliver beer!

Pretty dang good! Only 4 stars because even though its supposed to be fusion-like, the steak is not the tender authentic quality I was hoping for. Having said that, I’m still really excited to have this delivery option in the powderhorn neighborhood! Love the name! I got the ruckus tacos with the American pale ale from local east lake brewery. Tacos are yummy, the steak was a little chewy but the pickled onions with cilantro and chopped onions made it repeat-order-worthy. I was expecting a small beer but it was actually 19.3 oz yay! Beer was smooth, nice, and light but with more flavor than your typical bud light coors light etc. I will definitely call taco cat again and try something new!

When I was in high school and we drank too much UV Blue and Bacardi Limon(don’t worry, I’ve changed), we would have someone drive us to Taco Bell, order a shit ton of Crunchwrap Supremes and listen to Tech N9ne and T.I. on our way back. It was like that Fergie song but with more Hollister cologne. Taco Cat is like the adult version of that but soooo much better. I’ve actually never ordered Taco Cat when I was drunk, because I’m not smart enough to think of it and would rather yell at that scary sounding clown man on the Toppers answering machine. The tacos are dank though. Simple, delicious, with those really good tortillas(not the white flour ones gringos love). The tacos remind me of the tacos you get outside of food trucks and bars in Austin. TEXMEXAUTHENTICO. The meats are good(I like the original steak!) and the crema is just the right amount. They have fun specialty tacos too– last time I had this mint chimichurri bidness one that was LIT. On that culinary genius flow. The best part about Taco Cat is the breakfast burritos though. Seriously. That thing is stuffed with eggs, potatoes, beans, chorizo, crema, and is just an all around amazing hangover cure. This is my go to move when I’m too hungover(er, still a little drunk the next morning) to even think about responding to the brunch group texts. Taco Cat should instate a new extra delivery service where the hipster bikers climb through a window and deliver it to you in bed. Real talk though they should also have this available on Saturdays. I love pretty much everything about Taco Cat– the food, the price, bragging to my friends who live outside of their delivery area, and not having to ever go to Taco Bell anymore. Being an adult is fun!

So surprisingly yummy good! Human-powered delivery via bicycle was a wonderful plus for those who care about our planet. I’m vegetarian and ordered the veggie burrito. Didn’t analyze it to much, just needed a quick meal and it tasted great! Cooked perfectly and still hot. Brother ordered the pork burrito and loved it as well. My only complaint might be wanting more veggies, but it was great as is. Will update my review next time I order, which WILL happen. Definitely give it a try if you are in the delivery area. Taco delivery service perfect for the Uptown area.

I enjoy the food immensely. I don’t enjoy the delivery people automatically adding a 20% gratuity when I pay with a card. I’d like to have the option to determine how much I want to tip. This has happened the last 2 times with 2 different people who have delivered food. Ironically enough I was going to tip in cash which was more than the 20% tip but since they added that I kept the cash instead. Again Food = Sex Time 10⁄10 would bang Just stop auto-adding tip

A reluctant four star rating — I won’t deny that the concept of tacos delivered via bike makes me happy, especially considering there aren’t many better options for tacos within my immediate vicinity. Closer to three if it weren’t for the fun concept. Taco Cat’s strengths lie in its special tacos, and portion sizes. They have a number of interesting concoctions — my favorite is the pork taco with kimchi — that have yet to disappoint. Unlike a lot of taco places, Taco Cat fills their little tortillas to the brim. I’ve always felt satiated after the three tacos that come in a standard order. The service has always pleased me. The delivery people have been friendly, and they’ve always arrived within whatever window of time they’ve given me on the phone. Not the best tacos, not the cheapest tacos, but a good, novel option when you’re craving tacos.

I have ordered from Taco Cat several times, and up to about a year ago the experience was good, and the tacos themselves were great. Unfortunately, their quality of service has plummeted. 9 months ago they arrived with the tacos, but their payment processor didn’t work. The employee just tried entering all my cards several times for nearly half an hour, telling me this happened regularly(?!), until a charge finally went through. A couple months later, we placed an order that never arrived. Instead of calling me when they arrived at my door, the employee left a patronizing voicemail as they were already leaving telling me that I must have been asleep, because I couldn’t hear them knocking(We live in a duplex with a communal entryway). Now I’ve come to find out they have put me on a «list» because I never paid for tacos they never delivered. Consumer hostile, disrespectful, and very disappointing. Buyer beware.

I have had their food three times now. It has been great every time. The steak burrito is great. The chicken burrito is amazing. The tacos are always delicious. The chips are amazing and have a good flavor by themselves. I just tried the spanish rice and beans. They were really really good. The guac was also really really good. The chicken nachos were equally delicious. The sauce they put on too of the nachos was really good. Also who wouldn’t want fresh food delivered on a bike? Mpls is a biking city. They bike through the rain, snow and heat. I give it two thumbs way up.

I am updating my review(same number of stars) to disclose the fact that I can no longer order from Taco Cat because they have reduced their delivery zone to exclude Longfellow(Hiawatha is the cut-off). I am disapointed — especially considering how excited I was when they announced BRUNCHBURRITOS — but I’m hoping maybe it’s just a winter thing. Only time will tell! However, if you live in Powderhorn or(stuck-)Uptown, order brunch and tell me how it is, k? K.

THEBESTTHINGTOHAPPENTOUPTOWN! Tacos to your door, need I say more? The other reviews are expecting too much… this isn’t going to be the best, most authentic, delicious taco you’ve ever had; it’s like getting pretty regular but good street taco delivered to you in your pajamas. And THAT is worth its weight in gold. Ordered the McFly Chicken tacos, chips and salsa. The salsas were awesome, chips good and def homemade… a little chewy but only at times and not in a bad way, the tacos were good… you could smell the cilantro as soon as you opened the foil and the cabbage slaw was awesome. A little bland but with the addition of the two salsas super tasty. $ 12 including tip. Not bad, not too different than a JJ’s order tab anyway. Will def order again for convenience, novelty, and taco cravings.

First off, let me just say that the person running Taco Cat’s PR is a hilarious genius, and I want to buy several rounds of whiskey for him or her ASAP. And to the brilliant individual that crafted this excellent idea of having tacos delivered to your doorstep: you are welcome to my future wedding(if I have one). I can’t tell you how many times I’ve craved Mexican food while buried in my microfleece blanket watching Netflix. Too comfy to move, yo. Too. Comfy. To. Move! #TCTM #OITNB A couple months ago, my girlfriend and I decided to stay in and try Taco Cat. I ordered the Taco Cat Original(bulgogi marinated beef, pico de gallo, cilantro, Taco Cat Crema Sauce), Mojo Pork(slow roasted pork, onion, cilantro, spicy verde salsa), and Banh Mi Tacos(mock duck, pickled cucumber, carrot, jalapeños, sriracha mayo, and cilantro). In about 40 minutes or so, the delivery guy arrived. I usually don’t write about delivery dudes, but let me tell you: my guy was f******* awesome. Here’s why: –Could’ve sworn Tupac resurrected out of his backpack. Ish was banging! –After biking several miles, he seemed really enthused to give me my tacos. –He cracked some vulgar jokes that I really appreciated. –Nice guy! I paid with credit card.(Taco Cat’s delivery peeps utilize Square, I think. I’m not really sure, though, since I drank several beers by then.) After our transaction, off he went biking down the street with his backpack blaring«All Eyez On Me.» My party of two started off awesome with the Taco Cat Original. Ever since I had a Kor-e-i-can in San Francisco, I’ve had a mad craving for this fusion food that’s nowhere to be found in ‘Sota. Honestly, I thought they did a great job with the bulgogi! Regarding the other two, though, they weren’t as memorable. The Mojo Pork’s tasted fine, but I don’t know if it had enough for me to order it again. My least favorite was the Banh Mi Tacos. Even though the mock duck had a nice texture, I couldn’t get past the fact that the carrots and cucumbers didn’t taste like they were pickled for very long. Just let it sit in that vinegar longer, ya’ll! All in all, I’m really close to being a Taco Cat regular. I love their marketing and tacos-delivered-to-your-doorstep concept, and I’m willing to pay the premium. I just hope improve some items on their menu. I will try again in a couple of months.

Man I hate to be a Debbie Downer but my Taco Cat experience left me wanting… something. That something would be food with actual flavor. We ordered tacos with beef, pork and chicken and the delivery guy got them to us in the promised amount of time. We ripped into the bag and tore open the foil packs of tacos I went with the pork first — mojo pork that was marinated on dual corn tortillas with some onion and pico. I just didn’t get much flavor. On to the beef — korean kalbi style beef — nuttin honey. The chicken — chicken made with chipotle — just more nothing. I noticed in the other review/pictures that a cup of salsa was included — didn’t come with my order, not sure why. If the meat is lacking in flavor the taco is not going to be good. I know this is Minnesota but if you want to sell me tacos in Powderhorn they got to have some flavor. It doesn’t have to be heat(though that is a plus for me) but give me some flavor. For the money I would much rather hit up Pineda. Kalbi beef should have a sweet soy component, this didn’t. Mojo pork should have some MOJO, missing here. Chipotle chicken, give me some smoke and a bit of heat, but nada. The overriding flavor in each taco was of the corn tortilla — that is a problem. Taco Cat gets an A+ in marketing but a D– for the food. If you guys read this feel free to contact me. I would love to help you make food with flavor.

FIRSTTOREVIEW!!! WHOOHOO! First time achieving that honor! Had a friend over Saturday night to watch the Wild game. Didn’t want to leave for food and did not want pizza or chinese, or sandwhiches. TACOCAT to the rescue! We tried every kind but the veggie(pfft…) and asides from some of the meat being a bit dry, we loved them! The meats and the toppings seemed fresh, the corn tortillas were very flavorful and delicous. $ 8 for 3 large tacos Mad props to the delivery guy coming to our house in the pouring rain almost to the border of their delivery zone at 40th, but we took care of him well! Oh, and we got free Taco Cat buttons! I can’t remember if they take cards… my buddy brought over some good beer… and I drank a bunch of it…
