I used to frequent this store when I worked in Minneapolis. They have a large parking lot which is nice. The clothing selection is meh. The housewares department is ok. I found some records here a few times. The carpet is so nasty in this store. I found a thirty one bag once so score on that. Good place to browse. A bonus if you can actually find something to buy. A typical thrift store so hit or miss. Salvation Army has color of the week sales which means for example blue tags are 50% off this week. All items that have a blue tag are 50% off.

I am writing a review for the«Donation Pickup» very terrible service! They called me stating«they will be there shortly» I am on the 3rd floor so I brought all my donations downstairs to find out they are not even here and 2 hours I have been waiting! ! I called them back asking them where they are and they said«they are 4 blocks from you» he’ll no! Another more 30 minutes of waiting, Guess I will just have to put the things on the side of the apartments trash and I’m sure someone will definitely pick it up! A waste of my time!!! Texas Salvation Army are way better, they even go upstairs and pick it up for you!!! Minnesota Salvation pick up Sucks!!!

I recently fell in love with the Salvation Army on Nicollet! It is not the biggest thrift store, but it has a good variety and a parking lot. I initially visited the store while looking for a 1950’s costume. That was not a success. The clothes definitely all come from this decade and some items still have their original tags on. I ended up trying on some clothes in the dressing room but didn’t make a purchase that visit. During my first visit I noticed there were a bunch of holiday sweaters. When I got invited to a holiday sweater party– I knew exactly where to go! There were only a handful of holiday sweaters left since it is mid-December but they were only $ 2.99! All Christmas decorations are 50% off now. I got an awesome snowman drink dispenser that still has its $ 30+ Target tag on it for $ 1.50. I also snagged a new Kitchen Aid muffin pan for $ 4.99. The furniture ranges from couches and china cabinets to stylish stools and chairs still in their ready-to-assemble boxes.
