Valvoline Instant Oil Change

The service was very slow at this location. I waited about double the amount of time I would normally have for only three vehicles ahead of me.

This was my first time going to a Valvoline and I had a great experience.
Devante was Amazing! Give this guy a raise! He was knowledgeable and trustworthy. I came in for an oil change but he let me know I will need a transmission and radiator flush too. When I told him that was out of my budget for now he didn’t pressure me or make me feel like I was making the worst decision of my life. He just said «I understand, I just have to let you know. I will put the notes on your receipt for you.» What I really appreciated was that he brought me over to my car and showed me what the issues were even down to showing me what the bottle of oil that I should buy looks like and what a clean air filter looks like so I would know. He even explained to me how the coolant and radiator works, TWICE!
I really liked that I didn’t have to make an appointment and I could just show up. I suppose everyone knows that about Valvoline but it was refreshing to me. I would much rather wait in the waiting room than leave my car at some shop just to find out they couldn’t get to it and I have to wait a day.
I can trust that only the correct and necessary fixes are being done to my car. I spent more than I wanted to but I don’t even feel bad about it because I never felt like I was being up-​sold. I had the choice to decide if it was something I could do right now or not. Devante worked with me to create a plan of action for my car and my budget. If this guy ever opens his own shop I will be his first customer.
