Going to give this place another try but first visit here was just not good. Service was great and he lady at the counter was super friendly! Let’s get to the food now, I’m assuming this place isn’t known for there seafood but seriously if you charge $ 11 for a fish sandwich that was slightly better then a Burger King fish sandwich you probably shouldn’t be serving it at your restaurant. The fish was deep fried and very crusty and dry. It was served on a ciabatta type sandwich bread and that’s it. Meat and bread. The sauce on the side was extremely garlicky but it had decent flavor. The best part of the meal was the Israeli chopped salad. Like I said will give it another try but was not impressed for first time.

Unbelievably delicious food. Tastes like its homemade, but in a way that you could never do yourself. The breakfast burrito; which is available all day, comes with a delicious sauce, and is delicious to the point where its hard to try anything else because I want to order it every time I come in. Great place to chill, or have a nice sit down dinner.

Been going here two to three times a month all year long. It is worth your money — the food is healthy especially the Israeli salad and red lentil soups and green smoothies –i’m a sucker for their crepes. They do cater to the local /nearby Orthodox community and lack the fast service and minimum-wage workers of a corporate owned chain. If that bugs you, grow a heart(or find another country to live in! ;))

Oy vey! This place is not very enjoyable at all. The staff seems a bit on the grim side and disinterested in service if you’re not wearing a yarmulka, the asethetics are cold and uninviting, the décor forced and amateurish, the furniture cheap, uncomfortable and poorly arranged. I’ve only had coffee and tea at this establishment and it was adequate in quality and selection and fair in price. The location is a also bit forlorn: in a quasi-strip mall next to a vacant tattoo removal business and a SNAP fitness location. Parking and getting in & out can be a bit tight as well. Saturday hours: beware! I think it’s closed for most of the day and maybe doesn’t open until 9:00 p.m. as it adheres to Orthodox practices regarding the Sabbath. This review pains me as Vitali’s seems to want to cater to the Jewish crowd and many times I’ve gone there and enjoyed fun singing and conversation arising from the large table up front, but overall it’s not a place I’d recommend visiting unless you’ve run out of other options or are simply curious. It survived the long closure of the Minnetonka Boulevard bridge which pinched drive-by traffic for many months, but if competition arises, it’ll have to adapt or will likely not survive.

Had trouble with ordering delivery online. After choosing our menu items and checked out, it said only pick up was available. So we went to bitesquad and placed the same order again. Over an hour later the driver from bitesquad came here. And said they can’t reach them and that the driver was on his way there to see what was going on. It was closed at 6:00 on a Tuesday night. Bitesquad was nice and called back and was very polite. Tried to order again tonight. Placed order and it said pick up only after it had said delivery was available… I am disabled and unable to leave my home right now. And I just really want some crepes…

So many things are wrong with this place: *LOUD acoustics *coffee shop atmosphere minus the cozy/attractive areas *really SLOW service *tough, rubbery crepes *white fishy salmon I could elaborate on each of those points, but I think by the one star you can tell I wouldn’t send ANYONE here. Who wants to read more terrible details?

This is great for breakfast or lunch. I had the Greek Salad and red lentil soup. The service was very good and the staff extremely pleasant.

Very nice place. Reasonable. Great fresh food. Now that Minnetonka blvd is closed at hwy100 it’s a very peaceful place to sit outside.

My wife and I were super excited to try this place due to all the great reviews. We went for dinner and the place was very nice and cozy, but once we tried the food we were extremely disappointed. I have been to Israel and had a lot of kosher food and this was just plain bad. I had the salmon and veggie crêpe and I am 99% sure the salmon was out of a can(it was white in color and tasted extremely fishy). We really don’t understand how this received so many great reviews. We are contemplating going back for breakfast but not sure that we will take the risk.

Fantastic neighborhood gem. The food is high quality and has a great Israeli vibe. I feel like I should be looking out the window at the Mediterranean, not at St. Louis Park City Hall. And the people who work here are very nice. I’m not kosher, but I AM a nice Jewish girl and a semi-vegetarian, and I really appreciate this place. But even if you’re neither of those things, you need to try this place out because the food is like nothing else around.(The food is milchik kosher– which means dairy and fish, but no meat.) What to get: you can’t go wrong with the crepes. I’ve tried a few, but the lox and cream cheese is amazing. The sweet ones are all good too. The crepes may seem a little pricey, but they’re quite large. One is more than enough for a meal. I’ve yet to try the sandwiches on the menu or the falafel plate, but iI can’t wait to try them. I also LOVE the avocado salad! This comes with what appears to be at least one ripe, beautiful avocado, onions, tomato, and a sweet-tangy sauce that pulls it all together. I could seriously just eat a bowl of that for dinner. There’s a bunch of other salads on the menu that look intruging(like a Korean salad) and I will have to try these when i can tear myself away from the avocado salad. The baked goods look REALLY good. So far, I’ve only tried a ginormous chocolate biscotti, which was homemade and fantastic.

Just what we wanted! Crepes with cheese and eggs and mixed berries in a crêpe too. Very cheesy and nice! Quiet, comfy atmosphere. Conveniently located and easy to stop in after biking around the lakes this summer.

Went here for breakfast while traveling, and had the breakfast burrito. My burrito was piping hot, well cooked, fresh, and attractively arranged on my plate. The owner actually works right at the counter, and even introduced himself, and his wife and son, who happened to be stopping by. This place has an alluring and international décor, with retro posters of exotic locals, seeming to be travel advertisements from the 20’s and 30’s. There is delightful international music softly playing in the background, as well as a children’s play area, a great children’s menu, and I understand that at night, Vitali plays concerts. I sat right near two of his guitars, sitting in stands, ready to be played. Overall I was really impressed with this coffee shop/restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

If you haven’t been to Vitali’s Bistro(5101 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park) then you’ve been missing out on a GREAT little restaurant. I’ve driven by it a couple of times and often told my wife we’re going to try it, but I’ll admit that we were both a little scared away by the term«kosher.» We grew up in Iowa where nothing is kosher(except for the dill pickles that you buy at the grocery store) and weren’t really sure what to expect. Well, turns out that«kosher» was just a way of preparing their food and it had no effect on the taste of anything. This place is the bomb. There isn’t a huge menu, but it does suffice as a «bistro» and covers all three meals of the day including dessert(plus ice cream) and coffee. I have heard that their Blini(crepes) are out of this world good but didn’t try any on my first trip there. Since there will most definitely be other trips, we’ll be sure to sample those later. They have pizza, salads, soups and sandwiches and you can even get breakfast there. Bagels, omelets, breakfast burritos and authentic Hebrew lox(salmon smear for your bagels). Never had it but I will try it one day. I have very little experience with falafels and decided to go ahead and sample the Falafel platter at Vitali’s. These are the best I’ve had so far. There might be better ones out there, but these are very good. Served with Israel salad(similar to a Greek salad), hummus, tahini and pita bread. This is really a filling portion. The coffee drinks are nice and strong as they should be! The staff is friendly and helpful and did a great job of making us feel welcome at their restaurant. The place is clean and is decorated to make their guests feel warm. There really isn’t much that I don’t like about this place. The prices are also decent. We really liked Vitali’s Bistro and give it full recommendation. Give them a shot!

This is great crêpe place. We had the salmon and veggie crêpe and the portebello sandwich. The chef has a great palate. The crepes had a fusion of flavors, a slight asian twist. really enjoyed the meal. The restaurant ambiance itself is really nice, they have board games you can play. highly recommend checking this place out.

FINALLY there is another creperie in this town! Today I tried the Greek veggie crêpe. It was so yummy that my mouth is watering just remembering it. The service was great as well. Very polite guys working there. Ambience is cool, and there are gluten free options as well.

This place is nothing short of amazing. There is literally something for everyone. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and dessert. EVERYTHING. Not only is this place delicious, inexpensive and and conveniently located and accessible, but the service is outstanding. Every time I have been here, the people working behind the counter are incredibly sweet and approachable. I rate it an A.

We just returned from Paris where we had crepes everyday so when we saw that Vitali’s Bistro makes crepes, we had to stop in. I ordered the NewTella crêpe and it was delicious. The crêpe is thicker and chewier than the ones we had in Paris, but it was still really good and the NewTella, they make from scratch! It taste so much better than the stuff in the tub. I would definitely recommend this place.

Four of us ate at Vitali’s Bistro on a Saturday night, and I can’t say enough good things about the food, but our perception of the food might have been influenced by our state of near-starvation by the time the food arrived about 40 minutes after ordering it. To be fair, Vitali’s had just begun offering live music on Saturday nights, and clearly did not expect the crowds that came with it. Every seat was full, and they even brought out folding tables and wiped the snow off the outdoor furniture to squeeze more seats inside. But all the seats and staff in the world can’t speed up the preparation of the food, especially for something like crepes that need to be made one at a time, to order. That said, the food really was delicious. The salmon vegetable crêpe was the agreed-on favorite, but the paninis and pizza were excellent too. Vitali’s is a kosher restaurant, but it’s one of the rare kosher restaurants that is completely worthy of the business of kosher and non-kosher diners alike. In other words, it’s good, not just«good for kosher.»

Been here a couple of times with friends, and what a great café. Their crepes are very good, as other reviews have noted. My SO got a falafel burger last time we were there and said it was one of the best he’d had. Overall, Vitali’s has a cozy, welcoming neighborhood bistro, and I would definitely recommend stopping in.
