It was a professional sales process. However, I had a bad experience with their«all sales final». I made a mistake of buying something that I shouldn’t have because I didn’t have the space. I was wiling to spend more money to get the appliances I needed and they said nope. It was a brand new item and they wouldn’t budge at all. Now I have to try to resell the microwave. Not sure why they wouldn’t budge when I was willing to spend more. Now they have cost themselves years of sales down the line.

Scott, Warners’ Stellian store manager came to my aid after loosing power on Thursday. When power came back on oven door locked and would not unlock. Called WS and Scott did research while staying on the phone having me try different solutions to unlock the door. In about five minutes he was able to instruct me how to get the door unlocked! We have bought appliances at Warners’ Stellian for years but a recent incident prompted me to write a review. On a Tuesday morning my wife went to the basement to get an item out of our 35 year old upright freezer. She came back with a box of partially melted popsicles which had been in the door. Uh-oh something is wrong! I went down and put a thermometer in the freezer and found that it would not maintain a low temperature(zero degrees F) over any length of time. Time for a replacement and quick so we did not loose any expensive food items. I measured the dimensions of our old freezer and off we went to Warners’ Stellian close to our house in southwest Minneapolis. The sales person helped us find a replacement which essentially replicated our old unit and furthermore it was on sale. We asked about delivery and were told that this could be scheduled on Thursday morning and our old freezer would be removed and recycled. We agreed to the sale and the whole transaction was completed in less than 30 minutes. The delivery men arrived on time on Thursday and even though the location of the freezer in the basement was a bit tricky to get to, they removed the old freezer and installed the new with a minimum of fuss. The old freezer had been able to hold a low enough temperature that we did not loose any food. I doubt any of the big boxes could have provided such service.

4 friends had Sunday brunch this morning and your name came up. Everyone had a story about their good experience with you. Let me mention a few. First. Shirley U. had overlooked an $ 85.00 credit she was owed after making an exchange. At the end of the year she got a check. She had forgotten, but you all didn’t. Shirley was bookkeeping for the LWV for years but she had lost track of that $ 85. Praise to your bookkeeper and your integrity. Next Nomi D.(some people wd call her a fuss pot, someone else wd call her a balaboostah Yiddish for A plus Homemaker) Nomi described her satisfaction with prices, the entire shopping experience. Now me. I’m writing this after more than 40 years of experience with Warners’Stellian. Until this year I’d bought from the Mpls store. My last purchase was from the St Paul store. What I have learned is that your salesmen’s recommendations are to be trusted. I received a copy of Consumer Reports Thursday and guess what Best Buy dishwasher is going to be installed in my kitchen Tuesday? The same model my salesman recommended! In fact it would have been already installed if your man Olson wasn’t so busy. I am laid back about it partly because I like you so much and partly because I’m not having company until I have that machine installed. I’m sort of surprised you advertise on TV. One wd think that word of mouth would be doing the trick. Have you tried dropping TV for a while? What do I know.

My first impression was that I would see higher than average prices; but in reality they are as competitive as any other appliance retailer in the metro area. Rod, the salesman was very pleased to answer any and all questions I had. He even pointed out the«red tag» aka open box models and explained their features. I’m pleasantly pleased with all they offered and wouldn’t hesitate to refer Warners to friends and family. Thanks also go out to Kevin and Rick for being flexible with installation times.

I’ve purchased several appliances at Warners Stellian over the last 7 years and have always been pleased with their selection, service and prices. They will match any advertised price and their everyday prices are very competitive. Great place to shop for appliances!

Third purchase from here. Bought big fridge, dryer and now washer. have purchased all items from nice sales gal there named Mary M. She does not BS me, does not try to sell me more than what I need, knows her big ticket items(in’s and outs of various manufacturers) and the delivery is always on time and easy. I think their prices are fair, and the appliances are better than appliance smart. Its easy to park, and you get good attention. Will continue to buy all my large ticket items from Mary and Warners Stellian on Nicollet.
