So apparently this Wendy’s has gotten exponentially better, because I freakin’ love it. The food is always hot and fresh, the employees are super friendly and attentive. They put up with me never knowing what I want when I come in. The bf and I have probably been here at least 10 times in the last year and a half. It’s a nice little walk with delicious food. It is my favorite Wendy’s ever.

I will echo the sentiment that the cashiers are always focused more on texting and talking than the customer. I’ve never received an accurate/complete order and I’ve been in 3 or 4 times. It’s definitely not a very clean place either. I recommending going the extra half mile to eat street to get something great.

I’ve officially been to this Wendy’s three times(it’s a very convenient walk from my condo). The first time they messed up my order but it was no big deal as mistakes happen. I almost didn’t say anything since I had waited five minutes for a hamburger. And they weren’t even busy. Second time I went, I was waiting forever just to order my food which I didn’t understand since there were only three people in the lobby. Two people waiting on food and then me, waiting to order. They gave me a free frosty for the wait, which was nice, but I was still waiting to order my food. And then a few more people walked in at once and all got their orders in instantly, even though I was still waiting at the other cash register(literally for 15 minutes) and the cashier KNEW I was still waiting to order. I ended up just leaving a few minutes later. The third time I went in, they were again incredibly slow making my food despite it being that slow late afternoon time. I actually waited longer for my frosty than I did for my actual food which is ridiculous because the cashier didn’t have anyone in line after me so you would think they would be the one to make a quick frosty but no. He was too busy chatting away with another coworker. In the end, I will not go to this location anymore and don’t recommend others to this location unless you are fine with a ridiculous wait.

I live less than a mile from this Wendy’s and really really want to like it, but every time I have a lapse in judgement and try this location again I am always disappointed. The majority of the time my order is either wrong or they completely forget to place parts of my order in my bag. I have to check it every time and that should not be the case. When I do get home I discover that my food is either stale or completely cold, and remember I live less than a mile from this location and am driving. I have seen employees playing with their phones through the drive through window instead of getting my order correct and have seen an employee try to carry on a conversation with one of their friends who was standing outside the drive through window instead of letting me pull up to get my order. I’m fed up and will just drive further to avoid the frustrations of this location. Too bad since they are one of the only fast food joints in the immediate area.

This isn’t fast food, it’s no food. Thank you so much for being so busy talking to the person in front of me whom you obviously know, and ignoring me for ten minutes. Also, she JUST ordered the same thing I did but your suddenly out? This place is a joke, why even stay open if you treat people this way. It’s ridiculous, and btw betch, if you don’t want to work here than quit. But your attitude and bitchiness towards me and the two other people besides your friend was uncalled for and made me lose more faith in my dwindling supply for humanity. I hope Karma hits you hard.

As Josh said, there is virtually no fast food choices around Stevens Square. That said, the only time I venture over to this Wendy’s is if I have a serious Wendy’s cravings(because those happen. especially after a few non-Wendy’s drinks). It’s not the cleanest Wendy’s you’ll find, but it’s not the dirtiest. The staff are always concerned about 5 – 10 things more than you(I was once served by a girl who was on her cell phone literally the entire time I interacted with her and it wasn’t a work call. Surprisingly, she got my order correct so I couldn’t complain), so if you want some great fast food customer service you should probably keep on keepin’ on elsewhere. Bottom line: the service here SUCKS. The food is one step up from hot cardboard(but what Wendy’s isn’t?). but it’s the only drive-through fast food place around so it’s got one thing going for it. That’s probably the only thing though.

They’re really isn’t alot of options for fast food or any food for that matter in this area so it’s nice that this is here. Looks like a clean place and the Frosty’s here are of the thick consistency that they should be, fewer and fewer locations get that right anymore it seems. I too agree with Kevin about the cashiers. Most of the time I’ve been here they don’t pay attention because they’re too busy either texting or talking to friends in the lobby. In my case I unfortunately got their attention by checking the time. Must have pissed them off because the person wiped her mouth with her hands(made sure I saw it too) and then proceeded to help in making my food. Seems like the wrong kind of attitude to be working in any restaraunt, no matter what kind, and it wasn’t like I was complaining either I just looked at my watch and somehow she took offense to it. It was crazy, I’ll still come for a Frosty though, extremely refreshing. There isn’t another Wendy’s anywhere close to Downtown and they seem to get those right, at least for now.

I hate this fucking Wendy’s. The cashiers are despondent and focused more on texting and talking than even getting my food to me. I know it’s just a minimum wage job at a fast food place that I really shouldn’t be eating at at all, but still. I shouldn’t have to remind an employee that my food is up, and they should put it into a bag now. I thought that sort of basic tidbit would be in the training manual.
