Healthy? Yes. Filling? So-so. Tasty and good flavor? Yes. A tad expensive? Yes. If you use the Unilocal checkin 15% off that helps soften the blow but my entire table said it was too pricey for them to consider coming back. The daily bowl is a great option if you’re looking for a good balance of health and taste. Comes with small side salad that they put right into the bowl along with the warm food which also put off my friends because it mixed hot with cold. I didn’t mind though. I would order it again but without the Unilocal discount, honestly I can’t justify almost $ 10 for lunch.

Quality and Skyway. To words not often used in the same sentence when it comes to Skyway dining. World Café has become my go to lunch spot. Quality ingredients, a creative menu, and good service make this place stand out. Check out the daily rice bowls. Always different and always good. The paninis are a solid choice too. A nice service is World Café also does all day breakfast. The breakfast sandwich is solid if not too inspiring. The breakfast quesadilla is good and there are many other choices. A special mention should be made of the coffee. It generally of a higher standard then most of the chains.

Ordered Chicken Mole life bowl. Was very good with great spice. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. The bowl included rice, pinto beans, leafy greens, few carrot shavings and a cherry tomato. They had some optional spice to add, but decided against it.

World Café provided box lunches for a recent business meeting — they were great! Nice variety, and everything was fresh and delicious. A nice«from scratch» option for box lunches without breaking the budget!

I was training in downtown for a few weeks and stopped here 2 time. The atmosphere was nice, but I did take my times to. I experienced great customer service. I had a mocha– very tasty. The nice thing you can drink right away –it’s not overly hot to where you burn your tongue. I had the homemade bread pudding –delicious! Last item I tried was the breakfast egg and cheese croissant-I would recommend this items also.

This business apparently used to be Café Zentral but closed in October of last year. It re-opened under a new ownership and is now World Café. It is located in the Soo Line Building and is easily assessable using the skyway.(huge plus!) They are open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch. They have a very casual atmosphere and provide coffee, espresso drinks, a small pastry/bakery display(similar of what you may see in a Starbucks or Caribou) as well as offering breakfast and lunch choices. I have only stopped in here twice for coffee(Vanilla latte’ both times… delicious!) but the food looks good as well. Their menu has breakfast sandwiches, traditional breakfast plates, as well as sandwiches and salads for lunch. There is a generous seating area as well. I am looking forward to trying their food and reporting back!
