Beers, burgers and sunset. Nothing more to say. Definitely someplace to have a great burger and enjoy the sunset over some beers with friends.

Tiki bar is a great hangout for Clermont locals — the only problem is it gets too packed! When I have out of town guests come in I always try to take them by on the weekend for a sunset dinner.

Good food, good view, that’s about it. Service is horrendous, they’ll walk by and look right at your empty bottle and keep on truckin. It takes forever to get your food and I’ve even called ahead and still had to wait for some attention while I watched my food sit by the register getting colder by the minute. «Locals» love it, yeah, I’m a local too, lived there 17 years but I still enjoy FRIENDLY service. I can’t hang at a place where I have to beg for food and drink, they should be tipping me, not the other way around. And yeah, it’s still that way when it’s not busy.

Not a tiki bar. Beer and cheap wine, no cocktails. A lakefront dive with a dock. Decent food, but filthy eating surfaces. Most customers were older rednecks making lewd comments to the servers. Service was poor. Lots of loud drunks at 530. One and done. No need to try this again. Definitely would not recommend.

We always like to try the places off the beaten path a little and my buddy had been here previously and thought we’d like it. In town for the Leesburg Bike Fest, we wanted to escape the crowds for a bit and grab a bite to eat.
I was less than excited to find a gravel driveway (not very biker friendly) but I navigated my way thru and we found a shady spot on the grass out back.
Located right on lake Minneola we were pleased to find the tables all situated right on the edge of the lake. We ran into another couple from Ft Lauderdale that we met at the rally and decided to take my buddy’s advice on this place, that was kind of cool.
My buddy recommended the burgers so that was good enough for me. Wifey got a hamburger and was lucky enough to get it medium rare. I went with a cheeseburger and had them add bacon. Out other friends ordered burgers as well/​
Wait times weren’t bad and the food when it came out was delicious. The breeze off the lake made our lunch experience an excellent one and we’d definitely repeat next time we’re in the area.

I like the Tiki Bar. Yes, it’s dated, service is hit or miss food is good-​not great. The burger and wings are my usual. This is the kind of place you come with friends to relax and have a good time. The wait can be long, but, if your with friends or family, the time passes quickly. The best part is the ambiance (or lack of). What’s a better way than to spend a few hours on the lake, watching the boats in a bar that’s open air? Yes, it’s dated, but that’s part of the charm. I do wish they would get some type of sun protection over the benches where you wait. Maybe because we know what to expect, we aren’t disappointed when we go.

I wish I could give the Minneola Tiki Bar 5 stars, however I just cant…
To start, this place is just filthy. I understand that it is a tiki bar, outside, on the lake. I’m not expecting it to be spotless… but they should take a cloth and wipe down the bar once in a while. It was stained with old, sticky ketchup and sticky from spilt beer.
Seating is limited, so we grabbed two spots at the bar the second they opened up. Our server was friendly, however she is just going through the motions. We ordered two drinks, the volcano wings, teriyaki wings and a side order of their tiki tots. The beer (landshark draft) was warm and did not have a lime. The food took a while to come out and when it did, it was in a styrofoam container. We ordered the wings «extra, extra crispy» and they were cooked normally. Didn’t say anything though because the sauce the wings were smothered in was delicious! After a bit, I notified our server that we never received the tiki tots. She said she would check on them, and then walked over to the register and put our order in. I guess she forgot to place our order for them. By the time they came out, we were already done with our wings and our drinks… we had a couple bites and asked for the check. What a waste. I used to live down the street from here and always came here for great food, great prices and great location. They have raised their prices since the last time I was here… and the quality of the food is just «okay» now… so all they really have is location. Such a shame as this place has tons of potential.

Best place in town for good and excellent service!

Have been coming here for years but have just noticed they’ve raised their prices quite a bit. The grouper sandwich is now $ 15 which is pushing into fancy restaurant territory! Everything’s gone up at least $ 2.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Service is awful. Saw a guy waiting to pay for 15mins. It took them 20mims for them to come by and take our drink order only to say we couldn’t stay cause our tied up dogs were laying on the wood. And that was after one waitress told us we could have them in the corner… Place is a joke don’t bother.

I’m local and love it here, but I got violent food poisoning.
Come for atmosphere as drinks but beware of the food.

Go for the view stay for the view.

However service has always been good!

I came on a beautiful rainy evening and it was nice and chilly w/​a touch of humidity. I honestly have never been to a bar as lovely as this.
I know its a local bar but it felt magical & exotic for me. Drinks were good. The waitress wasn’t really knowledgeable when it came to drinks. Guess its a beer bar only?! Either way, I gave this place 5 stars because of how I felt & because it was good vibes all across the board.

We come here fairly often and the main reason is for the location. The food is okay but nobody really comes here for the food. The beer is decently priced and cold. The servers are always friendly but their attentiveness is usually hit or miss. My main complaint is the lack of seating and the incredibly long wait times during peak hours. It’s not a big property so I’m not sure how they would fix that but if your planning on coming and grabbing a quick bite to eat during lunch or dinner hours good luck. The sunset is worth the wait though.

A burger that is addictive, perfect fries, fresh salads and a view that is worth a few more dollars. You will be amazed at the quality food that comes out of such a small kitchen. Wait staff is sometimes slow to react, but friendly. Draft beer is the way to go here to keep your visit economical. A definite must if in the Clermont/​Minneola area. Beer/​wine only. A good stiff drink is the only thing this location is missing!

I am a local and eat and drink here regularly. The staff is hit or miss. They can be very rude or sweet as pie depending on the day. I have never had an issue with my food but I stick to the wings and chicken fingers. The wait can be long but for me it is all worth it to spend time with friends and watch the sunset. Oh, and the people sitting on the benches next to the tables are the people waiting on a table. We usually order a pitcher at the bar and take it to the bench to wait. When a table opens up you move to the table or the next bench.

Two stars for our server, she was super sweet and did a great job.
The food, however, was not so great. I had chicken ceaser salad… the croutons were stale, hard as a rock.
My friend ordered burger, medium, it came out almost raw.
The view is nice… they need new tables. Very rickety and I was afraid my drink was going to spill the entire time.
Seems more like a place to hang at the bar and have a few drinks. not to expect a good meal.

Bad food, worse service, best view. This is a great place to see an amazing sunset! The servers are RUDE!!! And the food is BAD bar food. The selection of beer was minimal because they were out of stock of all the good stuff. It is a total dive bar with a great external atmosphere, but the servers were rude and it took forever to order and get our food because they were taking and drinking with one another.

We had no idea who was waiting for a table, who wasn’t. It was chaos.
Finally I find two seats at the bar.
The lady near me (w/​her hubby) was waiting for a refill forever. She said the ditzy girls behind the bar were clueless. Yes. They were.
Finally saw a young lady with the biggest sourpuss face I’ve ever seen come over and just stand in front of us. I asked if we could see menus she LITERALLY exhaled and said «food wait is 45 minutes» and walked away. So I still thought we would get menus to look at while we waited. I was excited because I heard they had THE BEST burger here. She never came back. NEVER EVEN ASKED IF WE WANTED DRINKS. Nothing. My husband said he wouldn’t give them a dime so we left. I’ll never go back. If they didn’t have the lake, they would die for sure.
NOTE to big breasted young ladies who work at bars and let their cleavage hang out (which is fine) just make sure you don’t have bunch of veins and stretch marks hanging out too. Unappetizing.

I live on the lake and the Tiki provides a place for us locals to hang out with our boats and have a good time.
For such a tiny kitchen it puts out good food.
A pitcher of beer is less than $ 6 bucks and equivalent to 5 mugs!
The servers are super nice even though they have to split tips.
