Cedar Nails

This week was my second time at Cedar Nails. My friend always comes here so I come along, despite this not being my usual place. Last time and this time, I got a gel mani and last time, it only lasted a week. This time, the NEXT DAY it was peeling off. I’m 5 days out with no polish left on. Also, I came with a friend, we made appointments together, and they sat us with 2 other people between us so we couldn’t talk. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here…

Went in not too long ago for a Mani. My nail tech was Kim, she was very friendly, professional & did a fantastic job! I will be going back for a pedi soon!

I went to Cedar Nails today to get a fill done. (I have arcylic nails)
I was able to make an appointment and get within the 30 minutes that I called. It was a little busy but, the people who worked there were doing their best to provide great service and get everyone seen as soon as they could.
I think the prices are compareable to other places. I am going to go to this place again. It seems there were a lot of regular customers who go there and that is always a good sign.

UPDATE: 1 star off-​last few pedicures here they’ve barely worked on hard callouses, and polish chips after a few days.
ORIGINAL: Have had several pedicures here — they’re pretty good. Nikki does an amazing leg massage! It seems clean, prices are average, massage chairs do their job… they could spend more time with the pumice on callouses though. I’ve been here several times and usually leave with harder feet than I want, but other than that it’s a decent place.

I was in the area so I dropped in today. The salon was busy but there were a few employees sitting waiting for appointments. When I was at the desk it took awhile for anyone to acknowledge me. When I asked if they could get me in there was quite a bit of talk — unfortunately in a language I could not understand. Then the gentleman walked away and a woman came up, more talk. They did get me in but I could not believe the attitude of the employees. No one spoke to me all during my appointment. Except when they said they could get me in.
I will never go back because of the way I was treated. Come on people speak to your clients and treat them like you want their business, not like they are disrupting your day! Also, a little English would go a long way. As clients, it feels like you are just sitting there talking about us.
And yes… If anyone is wondering, I tipped well because my nails looked good.

I have received many manicures and a few pedicures here. The staff is very friendly and always remembers you; and seemingly anyone else you know that goes there too. The prices are great and though I am not their target demographic I feel quite comfortable there as typically the only guy.

My first trip to a nail salon in Minnesota and it came highly recommended by my wife, her mom and even her dad… So I went in for a pedicure and left with a smile and soft feet! The staff is kind and the process is very clean! #happyfeet
