Always a“go to” place! Generous portions, nicely prevented. Server Collin was great. Jambalaya entrée was excellent.

I’ve been going to this Champps location for a handful of months now, and every time I go the waiters are very friendly, and the food is great! If you are a fan of wings — get them here! They’re the best.

This place was amazing! Our server Mark was wonderful and very attentive! The food was great, and it came out very quickly, even on a busy Friday night! We were more than happy and our server Mark was wonderful! We will be back! Try the grown up grilled cheese! Amazing!

The food was fine. Not great. They had speed metal playing super loud and wouldn’t turn it down. It was 5 pm on a Friday. Very strange.

Average sports bar. Sandwiches were ok, average bar food as well, good to catch a match on Sunday

Food was fine but TV on so loud you have to yell to be heard. May get it to go next time.

Have not been to this Champps for about a year. We used to go every 2 – 3 weeks and food and service has been 4 star but this time lucky to get 1 star. Service was poor and all the staff seem to walk around with sour faces not one smile. I ordered the special the Poutine and it basically was egg and fries, the manager was behind the bar and it took approx 10 mins for her to ask if something was wrong. When I explained there was no gravy she went ahead and told me there was gravy on the dish. Shame I used to enjoy Champps and thought it was a great restaurant but won’t be back here for some time.

I’m slightly torn on this review. More because of some slow service by the waitress than anything else. There were plenty of food options for our large group of adults and two children. The waitress did divide the bill into each of the multiple family units with our large group, with no billing errors. The food was good. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was flavorful, but not any special. A couple people ordered steaks, which I thought looked small in size. There is a decent draft list of both basic and craft beers. There are drink specials as well. I had a craft beer at 3.00, and that is good. The slips came after the main course was ordered. We kind of were left alone. The waitress did come and indicate that the two kids get a sundae if we were in agreement. We were fine with that. We just questioned why other dessert orders were not also taken at the same time. Instead, we had to wait a long time before making that order. It could have spelled disaster with the 9 and 3 year old child. But, somehow we made it. Food overall is average, some slightly higher priced than needs to be.

Used to go here often, in my single days, fond memories of Champps. Our date night almost over, only 7ish. We sat at the bar, great beer selection, $ 8 for a big draft IPA. Ordered a Cobb salad $ 13 to share. Even though there was not yet many people it took twenty-some minutes to get the salad. We were not checked on by the bar tender. The salad was very good but not enough dressing. Brandi checked on us once, but another bartender was more with it and got my wife more diet cola. Overall it was okay, at best.

I am so disappointed. I went here for lunch with my 4yr old daughter and will never be back. We decided to share an appetizer of chips and queso. We love queso… not this one. It was grainy, too thick, and had no flavor. Our main meals were a kids mac and cheese and a French dip. Mac and cheese looked like reheated Kraft mac and cheese that cost $ 6 and the french dip had a wierd taste to it. The french fries were the only good thing we eat. Our server was great though.

We were fully refunded with a gift card to go back and try the restaurant again. The letter I received was very professional and addressed all of my complaints. Will update after next experience.

Whoever thought«trivia night» was a good idea is a fool. Whoever thought two idiots screaming trivia questions into a microphone while alternately playing partial segments of stupid old songs is also an idiot. This is an idiotic place. The food is idiotic as well. Dry buns on over cooked burgers booooo warm tap beer booooo nasty smelling bar booooo! The place is idiotic stay away. Watch the game at home. Can’t get the game? Don’t go to champps, you’ll get idiocracy! And trivia.

I remember getting a good burger here in the past. Thought I’d get a burger last night since I was in the area. I regret it. We both ordered a burger and we were both really disappointed. A little undercooked but a lot greasy. So greasy that it felt like a grease sandwich. The burger was flavorless, no, it was grease flavor. Bun soaked in grease. AND the waffle fries were sad. Stuck together, some were mushy, probably just undercooked? Also had a rum cocktail that was like drinking syrup sweet but that was less disappointing than the food. Got sick later. Won’t be back.

Ordered to go for the girls at work. Our order was ready when we arrived(peak lunch time on a Saturday), they confirmed everything and impressively it was all correct & we were in and out within minutes. Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the south of the border burger with the waffle fries and sour cream sauce stuff. All to die for! My co workers ordered the tacos, which they loved as well. We love Champps and will definitely stop over again!

Great service from Briana. Wide selection of local, domestic, and imported beer. Had an excellent French Dip sandwich, but the seafood entrees looked good too. All kinds of televisions for a variety of sports. Someone ordered a pretzel that was as big as a steering wheel and their nachos platter was larger than meals at most restaurants. They were also sponsoring a charity event while I was there. I’d recommend it for after work parties or just dinner. There were quite a few families with kids there as well. Bottom line: Great service, food, drinks, appetizers, entertainment, community support, and general ambiance. Check it out.

This place was just ok. The service was fast and friendly but the food was mediocre. I ordered a side Caesar salad, which was the best part of my meal. I then ordered the Tuscan salmon and it was not impressive. It was clearly not fresh and I could not find any artichokes. I thought it was supposed to come with artichokes? But it came with broccoli, which I don’t remember seeing on the description. It tasted flavorless except for the fishy taste. My husband’s bacon cheeseburger was ok but really greasy. I didn’t choose the restaurant, but I wouldn’t choose this if I was choosing.

Loud, overcrowded sports bar in suburbia. Throw in a server with major eye-rolling ‘tude. This is an equation for no return. HH drinks are cheap, at just $ 3 per glass of house wine. The only redeeming quality.

Champps Minnetonka is a great place and a good neighborhood restaurant. You almost always see someone you know there and the staff is friendly. Food is good too and there are many things to pick. Thursday night trivia is worth checking out. A good place for a date or business outing.

My 6 year old nephew and 3 year old niece love this place. If I am taking them out to dinner, this is where we go. I have always had good service here. There are TVs everywhere which is why I think the kiddos like going there. Oddly, it doesn’t feel intrusive even though there are several dozen at this location! I have found the food to be of good quality for the adults. My niece orders the«mac and cheese» which literally looks like Kraft Mac and Cheese out of the blue box. Last time I tasted it, I am pretty sure that’s what it was. They charge $ 5.99 for that. I could make her at least 8 boxes of that stuff for the price! This last visit I had the gyro sandwich with fries and the seasoned sour cream. I thought it was very tasty. I have always found the service to be attentive and friendly. So, when I get the request to go, I am usually just fine with that!

Went to the one in Minnetonka and it was a bad experience. The food was not good. The bread was rock hard and the meat that was served was somewhat cold. They could have done way better. Full disclosure: I usually like Champps so this was disappointing.
