The service was great. I do not remember her name but she was very kind and very able considering the place was packed with people waiting by the front doors for a table. The food however was disappointing. Two people at our table got the chicken and it was«okay.» The baked potatoes that came with them were so overcooked they actually crunched like potato chips. The person who got the prime rib at our table said it was excellent! Another person at our table got a steak and half was a lot more rare than he requested and the other half was full of fat. So kind of disappointing, but not horrible!

Sigh, seems to be a trend here. Pricey & over cooked. I have had the blackened wings here three times. First time, excellent, second time, meh, third time, dry and over cooked. They have good fries though! The brisket is bad… dry and crumbly. But, chicken is their thing. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes spot on, sometimes you need to send out a search party. Beer selection is good. A lot of the same types of beers really… a little more of a spread would be nice. Kind of an odd mix of people, probably due to the Hotel and Office buildings close by coupled with what I assume are«the regulars»… The staff goes from expressionless drones to very personable and friendly… spin the wheel, and see who you get! LOL… Not sure I’ll be back, nothing memorable… but we’ll see. Update: They have managed to get worse. All servers & bartenders were in a booth eating. Ignoring customers. A customer waved the bartender down and got the«wait a minute» He said it had been 18 minutes without a beverage… and she went back to the booth. We grabbed our tab when she finally showed up. Get the broom, start over.

5 stars based on Bree being an amazing waitress and a very helpful staff member. Friendly, welcoming, and great service. Returning based on the quality of service provided. Highly recommend. A great staff is what keeps people like me coming back. Glad to call people out for their high quality service.

Staying in the hotel attached to this little restaurant and loved it. Service was amazing and very prompt. Got the fish tacos and a bowl of the best Chili that I’ve had in a awhile. If you go here I highly recommend the chili. No issues with this place and I will be back tomorrow night to try another dish.

Coconut shrimp was great and the vanilla dipping sauce was amazing. Do not order the bear pasta. Way too much cheese. Wait staff was super friendly. Great bar.

An old coworker and I frequent Grizzly’s for lunch on workdays. We both usually get the salad/sandwich lunch combo, which is reasonably priced. The ranch salad is great and the California chicken wrap is my favorite sandwich option. My experience has always been«A-OK» here, so no real reason to complain.

Decent beer list. The food is pretty good but nothing special. Specialty is chicken, but I’d suggest the burgers.

Good local chain. Great tap selection, and the brown sugar bacon burger is to die for.

We had the chicken quesadilla and half rotisserie chicken with dry rub seasoning. Everything was delicious. The chicken was so tender and the seasoning was perfect. Our server, Whitney was great, she was attentive and friendly. We don’t live near Plymouth but we plan to make special trips to Grizzly’s again for the great food and service.

Terrible service when the restaurant was virtually empty. Don’t get the grizzle pasta. They don’t warn you there is more than a pound of cheese and tastes terrible. In fact they recommend it. Will never go back

Place has a great craft beer lineup, and an awesome happy hour. Their patio is a really fun atmosphere too! The rotisserie is the star of the restaurant and they offer a variety of different meats that are done on it. Try the ribs!

In our third visit to Grizzly’s we had a big group so tried several items. The dining room is clean and inviting. Bright tv’s are all over and there is a fire place. Which creates a separate environment away from the bar area. The food is reliably good! The wood fired pizza is great. The crust is chewy and the cheese has a great flavor with a bright marinara sauce. We started with cheesy artichoke dip which any cheese lover should order. It serves four easily and comes with both toast and chips. For the main dinner, We shared the BBQ ribs and chicken and two sides. The ribs were fall of the bone tender and moist. The wood fired rotisserie that greets you at the door produced flavorful smokey chicken too. The sides were fairly standard French fries and mac n cheese. My kids gave the Mac a average rating. I also got to sample the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. It came with a buttery toasted bun and very tender pork that was not hidden by a mound of sauce. We did not have any room at the end for dessert and were thoroughly happy with the price tag. About 10 $ per adult and 5 $ per kid.

First time guests and the rotisserie chicken was very good. I’m surprised several reviews discounted the place. For us we’re coming back. They Blue Moon on tap.

A pretty good place with a few nagging deficiencies. I ordered chip and salsa, the house sirloin steak and mashed potatoes. For a drink my boss and I had a diet Sierra Mist. It came tasting like club soda. The waitress brought two more glasses and while it had a little more flavor, still not worth more than a glass of water. My steak was ordered medium but came medium well to well done. However, it did have great flavor with a tasty crust to it. Mashed potatoes were ordered with it and seemed to have some sour cream in it. Tasty but no butter was served with it. Also had salad instead of soup. The only thing memorable about that was the stingy amount of watery blue cheese dressing. I’d return to give the steak another chance as it is a great value. But bring your own salad dressing!

2 of us walked into the almost empty restaurant on a Sunday evening. We were unsure whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. After a minute or 2 a server rushed up to seat us. We said we would have a third person joining us and we preferred a table. The server said no tables were available(what? we could see several empty ones from where we were standing), but okay, we agreed to a booth. We were then led to a tiny booth tucked in beside the bar next to the traffic pattern between the kitchen and dining area with music blaring right above us. Unsure of what we wanted to drink we asked for water to start with. We spent a few minutes looking over the menu while needing to speak very loudly to hear each other over the music. My dining partner pointed out some dirt/dust just over my shoulder on the back of the booth. It looked like a big pile of sheet rock dust. Since our server had still not returned with our water, and figuring all of this was a good indication of what our whole dining experience would be like, we got up and left NEVER to return! In contrast, I recently ate at the Grizzly’s in Duluth and had a wonderful experience.

I was at this restaurant recently. I was not overly impressed with them. We arrived for a dinner and sat outside with our party of 4 adults and 2 children. Should have known when someone was screaming at the outside bar at something randomly that this was not going to be good. Waitress arrived and took drink orders. Beer and wine came out a little later. We made our dinner order of primarily steak of various kinds. Of the 4 adults, 2 had to be returned for being over cooked. Mine, was supposed to be medium rare and it was clearly on the medium side. It was a bit tough to eat. The most enjoyable things of the night were the cheese curd appetizer and bread. The butter was delicious. Other than that, not sure I would return to the location. I am in the area about once or twice per year. And it just did not impress. The manager did comp. us the appetizer and one of the steaks. I’m just not certain until they get a chef who can cook a steak properly that it is worth it.

The décor is exactly the same as when this was Woodys aside from a cooker when you walk in with chickens cooking on it. Service was great, tons of TV’s. You forget you are in a hotel unlike some other locations like this. The menu was a cross between Wild Bills and Famous Daves and I have to say, it was FANTASTIC. I had an Avocado, Bacon, Chicken sandwhich and I havent tasted something so good in quite some time. I really recommend visiting. The only reason I didnt give a 5 is that it is boring. Not much going on. Bring someone you enjoy talking to and eat up!

Found the old Woody’s is now converted. New face, opened up and a cleaner space, with a new focus on smoked meats. Lunch presents a few specials including sandwiches and the usual salads, but the soup and sandwich are full portions of each.
