If you are tired of the arrogant, self righteous used car salesmen at a nearby «MEGA» firearms store, then this is the place for you. The owner and employees are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The selection is limited, but sufficient, and they will order anything you want and get it in quickly. The pricing is very good, but just keep in mind that taxes and background check fees are included when comparing with other shops where you have to pay these over and above the posted prices.
I recently traded in a shotgun of my son’s, and was given a very fair price in trade for a new shotgun. Quite frankly, this is the only gun store I need anymore. I won’t be going anywhere else. These guys are the real deal and know what they are talking about. They treat customers right, which is why I will be back again and again.

Very happy with my first visit and purchase. Great deals on ammo, very friendly service. I visit gun stores with my wife frequently and many OTHER stores don’t offer what I’d consider proper service when the customer is female. I was happy to see how two separate female customers (father with daughter and an adult couple where the primary customer was the woman) where treated. Many shops in the area (we’ve been to a lot) just don’t treat female customers very well. MMI clearly makes sure everyone is welcome.

Today was my first experience with MMI Guns, and I have to say it was excellent!!! Brian is super knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to help the customers. If your in the market for a firearm, or good conversation stop in!!!

After trying to work with other dealers, I found MMI through an advertisement in the local paper.
Brian had exactly what I wanted (Glock 19/​Gen4) at a great price. I was impressed because Brian was helpful and friendly. Let’s face it, there are gun stores out there who treat the ladies differently, and not in a good way. Brian however, treated me with courtesy and respect.
Will definitely do business here again.

I heard about MMI through a friend who was raving about the place, so I had some pretty high expectations going in. I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, since it’s a new shop that’s still growing, I can only imagine this place will get better and better with time. Please note that it’s located on the side of the Edward Jones Financial Office (Orange Door on the left side of Edward Jones).
After researching the firearm I wanted (BodyGuard 380 w/​CT), I shopped around. MegaSports, Gander Mountain, Midwest, and Cabela’s all had it priced $ 500 – 530 out the door (taxes and paperwork included). I called Brian and he got me an amazing price of $ 445 out the door. He doesn’t appear to gouge on paperwork or add on miscellaneous fees like some other places.
I was able to order the firearm via email and submit my FOID card electronically so he could process the background check. This was really nice because I don’t live near the shop and it was nice to not have to make a trip just to show him a FOID card.
So, the process of haggling and purchasing was one of the most painless I’ve ever had at any store. It was literally a phone call, an email, and then go pick it up when he called. And again, I couldn’t be any happier about the price/​value.
So, the only tiny thing I could call a «negative» isn’t really even a negative. MMI is a new shop. It’s been open for 3 months at the time of this review, so his ammo and accessories stock was a bit low. I’m sure as the business grows, his stock will increase considerably. So, don’t go in expecting a wide selection of accessories; HOWEVER, if you know the exact holster you want or what type of special ammo you wanted, he might be able to get it for you during your waiting period instead of you running around piece-​mealing a purchase.
In the end, this is great shop. The owner is really nice, does great on prices, really knows his stuff, and I just can’t find a single bad thing to say about the place (and I generally ALWAYS have something bad to say). So, if you’re in the market for firearms, do your research, but make sure you give MMI a call before you pull the trigger on a purchase elsewhere.
