Marissa at the front desk is marvelous what a pleasure after a long day on the road. She makes you feel welcome and at home. Every aspect of this facility was very clean and organized.

I have spent 4 weeks of 2015 here so far and I feel like royalty. These guys truly value your stay and will do anything they can to make sure your stay is pleasant. I will continue to stay here and recommend to anyone traveling to Minot.

Very friendly staff and well prepared breakfast. Nothing extraordinary, I guess just appropriate for the location. I give it only three stars just because I compare it to other same Marriott category hotels where I have stayed. Competitively pricey. I stayed two nights and overall, hotel is good. Would definitely consider staying here another time.

This property did a fine job of delivering at the Fairfield Inn level. Staff interactions were friendly, the room seemed clean and serviceable, and the location(although confusing with convenient access only from one side of the freeway without a u-turn) was good with shopping and dining nearby.

Stayed here again, different room, no smell this time, same friendly attitude from different staff. The entire first floor appears to be under renovation. The location is very convenient, even with the ongoing remodel with the musty smell remidied I’d have no problems recommending this hotel to anyone.

Obviously an older hotel that was bought out by Fairfield. It really needs a remodel. I’ve stayed at several of the new chain hotels in town and they are much better quality. The rooms smell musty and the entire first floor reaks of chlorine from the pool. I’m not staying here again.

Stayed here twice! The first time wasn’t so bad that’s why I decided to stay again… Only this time I noticed under the desk there was Reece’s cup wrappers and hubby and I didn’t eat them and didn’t think much of it after that! Then as I was bent down putting on my boots I noticed that the bed skirt was Covered in white stains! Over all after seeing all that… you can only assume that the cleaning staff doesn’t make much of a effort… I will never stay in This dirty hotel again!

This isn’t as bad as Paula K’s review — — or at least my experience. If you’re familiar with the Fairfield brand of Marriott, then you’ll know what to expect and shouldn’t be too disappointed.(Although for her experience, it’s sounds as though it was based on the value — — $ 200 is definitely pricing for any Fairfield!) But… to be familiar with Fairfield’s, you’ll understand that this is the basic, value option of the Marriott family. So you can expect: –minimal amenities –less plush towels –lower thread-count sheets –FREE& pretty fast WiFi –complimentary breakfast –free parking –just off a freeway, so light noise –typically thinner walls(i could hear the upstairs room walking a bit) Not alot of choices in Minot, but I’ll gladly stay here to keep on collecting Marriott points. Nice welcome bag upon checkin — water & chips. Staff was always friendly and smiling. BTW, my room on a Monday evening was $ 119/night.

Keep driving! A trip from Washington to Minnesota on Hwy 2 left us desperate for a place to sleep for a few hours and unfortunately the North Dakota State Fair happened to be descending on Minot that weekend. The Fairfield was the only hotel that had a room we could find(due to a no show). The room was fine, your normal highway travel hotel but what they charged was felonious! We paid $ 200 for a king room(in Minot North Dakota) — literally highway robbery! Gougers!
