Mariscos Las Islas Marias

I came here for a friends birthday celebration and it was a great experience. Not sure if it was because I got to see my friend after so long or the delicious food and drink. Regardless it was worth the drive. I ordered a pineapple stuffed with shrimp and crab. It was very very sweet but absolutely delicious. They have menu items for children who do not like mariscos. My husband ordered a tostada de ceviche and large campechana. The flavor of the food was absolutely delicious, and the size of the plates was enormous. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The only reason I would give it 3 stars is maybe the crowd that was there and the horribly loud music. As this was a birthday celebration I was unable to hear anyone even when we were screaming at the top of our lungs. My children kept their hands over their ears and it was just way too loud. Maybe a good place for couples that are whispering sweet nothings into each others ears but definitely not the place for a family gathering.

Place looks great but was very disappointed with the cocktail de camarón they put a good amount of shrimp but sadly it tasted old. I’m not the type to complain about my food at restaurants and return it I just don’t come back. The cocktail tasted old hopefully it wasn’t and I don’t get sick

This restaurant doesn’t even deserve a star. We came here around 6 pm & were barely leaving at 8:35 pm, that is how terrible the service is here. The waitress we got took half an hour to even acknowledge us & ask us what we wanted to drink. Then she took about another half hour to bring out drinks & took forever to get our order. When it came to the food we got a campechana with practically NO shrimp, Avalon or octopus in it, she said she would bring some out but never brought it. We were still missing three plates, by the time they got there we were practically done with our food. We had to get up & ask for our check, and on top of that she charged us for a bucket of beer, and four micheladas, we only had two micheladas and two beers. She deserved no tip & coming from a waitress herself she was horrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The food was great, michelada was good and our waitress was amazing! (Didn’t get her name) the music was also very good! Only reason I’m not giving it five starts is because of the shrimp empanadas; they were very skimpy. Small and hardly any shrimp in it. Overall great place!

The service is poor, loud music. The food was ok, I’ve been in better places. Michelada was tasteless. They charge for water. I ate a shrimp tostada and it was BLAND. This place is just to have a drink and listen music.

The atmosphere is good. Come of the food is good and other food has no flavor. I would stick to the cold Mariscos. The hot plates I have tried were not flavorful. The music is good, so I would go back to have a good time.

The food is amazing here! Love their seafood is fresh & a a good price. Be aware that the plates are HUGE. Alcohol is great though we only order beer & shots. The only downside is the crime. There’s a lot of shady people that go there making it scary. A fight almost erupted like 5 times while there. Also make sure you like Banda because they play live & very loud.

I love mariscos and I love coming here to eat every time I’m in the area to visit because it’s like a piece of home away from home. The live band they have makes the place very entertaining. The food is good. The customer service is good too. Defiantly coming back soon!

I personally have never been here… and after all the «negativity» that has been happening here, I don’t think I will ever eat here… I am a Jurupa Valley resident, and this place is making our quaint little neighborhood look like shit! Yes it was remodeled, and they are super busy… but at what cost?
Stabbings, shootings, burnouts, racing! Ridiculous. I understand you are in business to make money… but you really want to tell me, that you don’t have enough money to hire some ARMED GUARDS to protect your patrons? You don’t know when to «cut someone off» when they have drank to much? (no pun intended). I will never set foot in this place EVER!!! It needs to be shut down! All this negativity, is making Mira Loma look bad! Shame on you!!!

Lunch with the guys Two Shrimp Tacos n Two Fish Tacos. Micheladas to wash it all down. Great lunch. Good chips n salsa. They give you lots of food even though they are a little pricey.

Really wanted to eat here. Got seated. Got our drinks. But been there for an hour and still haven’t gotten our order taken. Honestly if your not a group of Mexican guys don’t expect service they won’t pay attention to you !!! This place deserves zero stars. !!! I honestly walked in excited and wanted to try this place out.
Being an Ex waitress I don’t know if they thought we weren’t going to tip or what. Honestly don’t judge a book by its cover. Cuz we r really good tippers. But yah. If you come here as a couple or with bunch of girls don’t expect service!!!
Spent $ 17 on two drinks here and honestly wanted to just walk out. And have them pay me for wasting my time !!!

After searching for so long in corona and failed well atleast the locations did, I finally found my heaven here in Mira Loma… Won’t say much nor brag you have to try for yourself… Estilo Nayarit

Worst place ever not family oriented and the waitress are there to only service the guys. They don’t know how to get the wife’s order correctly but definitely understand what the husband order is. Confuses Sprite with fries and argues with customer… Waitress are horrible.

I love this place the langostinos, aguachiles, mejillones, empanadas, and michiladas are to die for unlike anything I’ve ever tasted just thinking of it makes my mouth water. My whole family loves this place and we have had some great memories there. I highly recommend this place. My only complaint would be the music being a bit to loud but the food makes it all worth while.

I love the food but the music really sucks. It was so loud my ears hurt. I could not even talk to my husband. So we just called because we want to eat here. The blairing music starts on Friday at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday at 1:00. We will go during the week. Great food!!!

Unilocal should be able to have a negative star rating but sense there isn’t that option I must rate at one star. Although they don’t even deserve it. Our experience was absolutely HORRIBLE! We arrive at 8:20pm. Well in advance of there 10pm closing time. We were rudely given menus and advised that we could only order «cold» or fired food only! Due to the «grill» being already turned off! Although I do admit that was a HUGE red flag we shouldn’t of ignored! but sense we were had driven an hour specifically to eat there. We stayed. Biggest mistake EVER! The «cold» food we ordered was horrible and «fried» food was plain nasty!!! Not to mention the BAD service…
It was a $ 96.08 WASTE of money and time!
By the way the extra 1 cent was left as a «tip»
Never will come back!

My first time here so it’s hard to give it more than a 3 star.
I ordered the shrimp civiche and and some aguachule. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how good both were.
To be honest I only came becaue my favorite mariscos place is next door, but they were closed.
But I’m glad. I enjoy trying new places and I’ll definitely be back. I’ll update this reciew as I try new things. W

Disgusting ! Waste of $ 50 ! Micheladas are $ 10 and have no flavor ! I ordered Camarones a la diabla and a shrimp cocktail. Had to send it back ! The shrimp cocktail tasted like oregano juice and the Camarones a la diabla were just covered in pepper. The only cool thing is the live music. I would never come here again. So disappointed. No flavor food and over priced.

Very good and I would most definitely come back here! Came for lunch and was very happy with my food and drink!

Loves the live muaic, food was pretty good, service was amazing, salsa sucks. But i guess for the price i can’t conplain. I will definitely go back though.
