Best shrimp ceviche I have ever had. Literally a hole in the wall behind a liquor store but don’t judge a book by its cover.

Best Mariscos … The place is a whole in the back of liquor store. But the seafood is fresh and well prepared.

Pide tu orden con tiempo por que duran un friego. Solo ordene 3 ceviche y un coctel. 25min. Se salen.

The best ceviche in town!!! Plus the salsa is really good, the service is really fast even that they always are full of costumers, the aguachile is really good to.
This is one of those little hidden places that have amazing food and not need for advertising because the food speaks for itself

I had the fish ceviche and at first I thought it was shrimp ceviche because the pieces were so big, but it was fish and well as I bit into it, it felt gooey like ur eating well seasoned boba so after a couple forced bites I just couldn’t anymore, dnt get me wrong it’s well seasoned with a very delicious taste but the fish ceviche itself was disgusting. Maybe I’ll try the shrimp ceviche

Hands down the best little mariscos spot I’ve been too.
Their shrimp civiche is aways fresh and chopped perfect! Always the right amount of veggies too.
I recently started getting their aguachile. Let me tell you, it’s amazing! Shrimp, cucumber, spices, purple onion, and liquid sazon. My mouth is watering as I type. Now I add octopus to it!
But to be honest as good as all the above is, it’s their home made chile sauce that sets this place up for success. It’s a smokey, limey flavored sauce that is unbelievable hot! But it’s like crack! I cant get enough.
I highly recommend this place.
Ignore that other reviewer that wrote «they never have what I want.» Hey bud try ordering off the menu. I’m sure hes from a rival place.

Been to this place 4 TIMES during lunch break. I dont know why I have given it so many chances. They never have what I want to order and are always out of something. Food taste good but I don’t like the fact that I can’t order what I want and I end up getting what they have because Im very hungry.

Love this place! Owners are very nice treat us like family. Everything is fresh and delicious. Just thinking about it my mouth gets watery. Lol

Food was ok nothing special. I had the tururu regular and it was ok. Place in my opinion is very expensive. I honestly think is cheaper to go to Culichitown and better seafood.

Best seafood place in so cal. The tururu tostada is to die for they were closed for two weeks and literally could not wait for them to open back up.

The food is great and the price is really good very clean place I highly recommended for people that want to eat good ceviche and pave the right price.

The freshest Masriscos in town. I usually call in my order ahead of time for pick up. Being the beat Mariscos in town and a small joint has its down side. Phone orders are usually an hour wait and sometimes even the. You wait there. I was not going to ding them for that because the food is definitely worth the wait. Very busy Fri-​Sun. During the week they also run out of certain food can u blame them they want to serve the upmost fresh seafood. Try it out, I would recommend picking up an order… Not a place for anyone. Too many drunk old men.

Hands down best sea food in riverside. all the food is fresh and alot of flavor in all there food. the owner is cool people and the service is good. If you want a good marisco come here even if its out of your way you will not regret it.

People always taking about how «hole in the wall» spots are the best. This would make Mariscos El Compa the bestest. Located in the rear of Sky Country Liquor it has top notch Ceviché. For those not familiar with Ceviché its a mexican shrimp or fish salad cooked in lime juice and depending on the location may differ in the other ingredients mixed in. Mariscos El Compa

Uses fresh tomato and onion in my favorite, the shrimp ceviché. This dish is perfect for those looking for an healthy alternative to sub-​way or flame broiler. My one gripe is they don’t serve avocado which is the perfect topping. If you want to make this a cheat meal simply lose the fork and dig in with some tostadas. For those who can handle the heat try the home made Habanero Salsa (beware). So if your ever in the hood go for the full experience and try Mariscos El Compa

I don’t know why I had not reviewed this place sooner. I have been coming here for over 5 years and even now that I am 30 miles away I continue to come with no hesitation. They have the best BEST ceviche you could imagine, they make their own chile sauce which only makes the ceviche taste so much better. The price is very very reasonable as you receive large portions for what you order, I don’t think I have enough words to explain how delicious the seafood tastes at El Compa. For those afraid of the scenery or unsure please you have to try and you can do takeout so don’t worry! Don’t miss out on this place seriously!!!
