Definitely one of my he best sushi restaurants in the area. Presentation was amazing, special rolls were great (different than many places, they used garlic in some of the rolls). Sake was served really hot, but started to taste better as it cooled. I will upload a couple pics. One is the sashimi and sushi combo, I forgot what the other one was.

Food was really good but I was quite surprised to see that the food was not actually cooked in front of you. I went here for that reason…

Ocean & Mummy Rolls were great! Also did the filet & scallops hibachi and we were stuffed. Great service and very friendly staff. Will definitely come back next time we are visiting Destin!

Their hot green tea was really yummy. They also had really good sushi rolls. It wasn’t every busy and kind of difficult to locate (it’s in a strip-​mall type area). But the service was nice and attentive and the presentation of the sushi was really pretty. We will probably go back here when we again find ourselves in the Destin area.

The best sushi I have every had!!! My wife and I come back again and again. Our favorite place to go. The food is great, the portions are amazing, the presentation is superb, the staff is very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who truly wants a great place and the best sushi in all of the emerald coast.

All you can eat lunch for $ 19.95/person was great! Ordered about 8 different things from the menu, good size portions, tasty food, good customer service, and only paid $ 50 including tax and tip. Very very satisfied and will definitely come back next time we’re in Destin.

Very quaint small sushi restaurant. Everything was very fresh and beautifully presented. Definitely worth eating at. The atmosphere doesn’t reflect the quality of the food.

My wife and i were both plesantly surprised by this place. The selection of rolls and blending of flavors (e.g. avacado and peanut vegetable roll) we quite good. Good presentation and service too. I hear they have an all you can eat during the week that is based on menu selections vs. the traditional buffet style.

The quality of their sushi and friendliness of their staff (looking at you Ariel!) is unsurpassed in Destin. The AYCE lunch is an amazing deal — nowhere else in this area (or anywhere really) can you get the quality and variety of items for $ 19.95. I loved the miso soup, avocado salad (basically a whole avocado on a ginger salad), seaweed salad, salmon tartar (wow), and variety of their specialty rolls (Destin, Yankee, Dragon, etc.). Don’t judge me – I was hungry! Others in my party did a la carte ordering and enjoyed their sushi and hibachi as well. The presentation of the dishes is amazing and the food is great. Definitely my new favorite spot in Destin for great sushi at a reasonable price with amazing service, especially compared to other popular sushi places in the area. Will be back tonight!

The first thing to think of being in Destin naturally should be seafood, but being sushi fanatics, we naturally think of great fresh sushi.
Since we are just visiting, we are not expecting anything and 100% relying on Unilocal reviews. This place came across our search when we were looking for sushi closed by us, so we decided to give it a try.
Surprisingly delicious! We ordered a Destin roll to share as our appetizer. My sister ordered Trio Sashimi which consists of salmon, tuna and yellowtail sashimi but she requested to just including salmon and tuna. I ordered Sashimi Deluxe which consists of various kinds of sashimi.
First of all, the Destin roll was tasty. It is like a shrimp tempura roll with avocado and grilled crab stick meat on top and drizzled with eel and spicy mayo sauce. Then, Da Fish… All the fishes were exceptionally fresh. My sister really only eats salmon and tuna sashimi, and she even gave the scallop and white tuna sashimi a try and she loved them! Also, you wouldn’t think that things like scallops, red snappers and red clams would be included in the combo but it did!
With the quality of their food, the price is not bad. After ordering all those food and two dessert, it was about $ 100.
Also, the service was great and genuine. They were trying so hard to accommodate us and were so nice about it!!! Even when we were trying to substitute few things, they were still nice about it. They also recommended us to try their all-​you-​can-​eat lunch from 11 – 4 during the week.
Overall, I had such a great experience at this place. If I lived in Destin, this would be the new regular sushi place for me !!!

This is more a Chinese food restaurant… that serve sushi. The fried rice & soup was good. But the sushi was a thumbs down.

It’s not a saucy hibachi, it’s flavorful and light. The kids ate all of theirs, the sushi was fresh, and the prices were very reasonable for this area. In fact, the food was SO good, I want to pick this place up and move it to where we’re from — Nashville. It’s much better than we’re used to. Sure they don’t cook it in front of you, but that’s overrated anyway. If you’re in the Miramar Beach area, stop in. I highly recommend them for their food and superior service!

Surprisingly really good food.
We went there for their all you can eat lunch. It was $ 19.95 per person but for that price it was really filling and tasty.
We ordered pacific roll, dark angel roll, calamari roll (I wouldn’t recommend ordering this roll. It’s not meant to be a sushi) and teriyaki steak. I was stuff and happy.
I would definitely recommend this place for sushi!

Absolutely delicious and fresh food with spectacular service. This building is unassuming and we questioned if the reviews were correct. After receiving our food– ocean roll, sweetheart roll, white tuna sashimi and chicken and shrimp hibachi– this was some of the most delicious food. We will definitely be coming back every time we are in Destin.

Really good sushi. It’s definitely one of those places where you aren’t completely certain if the food is okay looking at the outside of the restaurant. Trust me! It’s safe… And delicious! We got the tuna takati which was really good, and the roll, king crab, was good too. The only thing was the cooked lobster, a bit rubbery. So stick with the rolls and sashimi dishes.

Don’t like Sushi? No problem! Do you like steak? How about salmon? If so, they have some great options for you. They also have excellent Sushi — so put this place on your list.
So it must be said that while I love Sushi, I also love steak and salmon. Hibachi style is a favorite of mine, and I’m always tempted to get Hibachi when I can, though my need for Sushi usually outweighs my need for something grilled because I eat Sushi so rarely.
Also, as someone who eats out more than his fair share, I am always on the hunt for things I’ve never had before.
I can happily report that I found two things I’ve never had here, both excellent, as well as wonderful Nigiri Snapper and Striped Bass with Wasabi spicy enough that I didn’t need to bring in my own Scoville fixer.
Here’s what I found:
Steak Sushi! — Yep, you read that right — Steak, cooked and rolled into a Sushi roll. They call it «The Cowboy» — and I, being from Durango (Spanish for Cowboy) Colorado, having eaten steak my whole life, have finally found an amazing duo. Definitely, without a doubt, worth a try.
Also, the Hibachi salmon. My wife had it, and so did I, because it was too good not to steal a few bites. Cooked with an excellent brown sauce, veggies, and a couple of shrimp, this is an excellent go-​to dish for pescetarians who don’t like Sushi yet cannot eat steak.
Last, yet far from least, was the other thing I’ve never had before: Deep fried Cheesecake.
Yep, you read that one right too — deep. fried. cheesecake. With sprinkles!
Cowboy Up Sushi Partner! — And hold on to your hat, it’s one heck of a ride.

This was a nice find while driving from Panama City to the Destin airport. There is all you can eat sushi, which is made fresh rather than buffet style. And there are actual creative rolls that you can order. The value is amazing for the price. Lunch was $ 17.95, dinner was $ 20. Hibachi was also included, but we stuck to the sushi.
I recommend the Alaska Roll, Ocean Roll and the Yellow Tail. Honestly though, nothing we had was bad. The staff was super nice and attentive. Sushi was fast as well. Apparently this is a new location, but you can’t tell. Great value, great fish. Highly recommend.
