Golden Krust

I officially really hate Golden Krust. they make you wait a tediously long time for poor service and average food.
On todays episode we have a line out the door with only two people working the front, after waiting 15 minutes out of my 30 min lunch time to be helped, We were greeted with someone with the worst attitude, after asking her for a simple order of two beef patties she looked at us and said «no beef, only jerk and shrimp»
so I respond «How much longer until beef patties are ready?» (SILLY ME for assuming they were baking them from scratch in the back)
she continues to stare at me like I’m an idiot «no more beef»
long story short they had no beef, veggie, spicy or mild patties, they get their stock delivered to them which implies everything is frozen, the workers are rude as hell I would drop her name but home girl wasn’t wearing one–

This is the only location I’ll ever go to. Patties are always fresh including the food and they have a Variety of Authentic Jamaican sodas you can choose from. I like this location because I’ve noticed in the other locations they put too much ginger in the Bean & rice and it taste overwhelming but this location does it right. I usually get the Large Oxtail dinner. I don’t believe in going to Jamaican restaurants since I’m Jamaican and I can cook it myself but if I’m craving oxtail I’ll go here.

Call before you go. Menu items sells fast, don’t waste your gas for a craving not to be satisfied.

You would think that with the increase in price the portions would stay the same. NO. They increased the price and decreased the portion size. Terrible business move.

Small location which was rather busy during lunch hour. I ordered a lunch portion jerk chicken and rice and it tasted like baked chicken. Flavor was definitely lacking. Not the best place for a lunch special.
