First off, the hours have changed again. They’re only open until 3pm weekdays, saturday I don’t remember and Sundays they are closed. The food itself is very authentic, what we call«la bandera»(rice, beans, meat) and typical sides like salad and maduros are served every day and are ready to eat when you get there. Most other things however, like mofongo or empanadillas, you have to wait for her to make them from scratch. I definitely recommend this for meals, if you don’t feel like cooking or are on your lunch break. I would not however go with more than 2 people at a time if you’re going to order things that have to be made from scratch(empanadillas, pasteles, mofongo, kipes, bollo de yuca, etc) because it would probably take a very long time.

I’m one of their newest late-night«takeout» customers. Being Dominican I have HIGH expectations and they have yet to disappoint me. They serve a good portion of food and their flavors are pretty much on point. 2 things that bug me is that they forget to put utensils in the bag and they never dress the salads. Maybe I need to request both but its expected to get utensils for takeout orders and normally at(Spanish) restaurants they pour a little oil & vinegar on the salads. The place is really small with only a few tables. The female who takes the orders is always nice and friendly. Now under new management, they close at 5am on the weekend and around midnight during the week. They’re also open on Sundays.

Store closes at 2pm, No professionalism when answering the phone. Hello? Yes is this xyz restaurant, ummmmm hold on? Wtf is all I’m saying. They have some promo with that I called to inquire about, the lady who answered said I had to ask her nephew but he wasn’t their. So all in all, I never tried the food because who honestly has dinner at 2pm? Just the common courtesy over the phone was non-exsistent. That is the reason for my rating, get your stuff together…
