Sir Pizza

My husband walked out from the pizza shop, & said” we should have gotten dominos or pizza Hut. it was 15.00 for a large. A large looks more like a medium.” :(I’ll follow up on the review after lunch.)

I was here once before and loved the pizza. Came again, about a year later, and this was disgusting. The large pizza (thing as paper), two drinks, and a tiny little cup cake was $ 27!!!
The pizza lacked flavor… Salt. The bread was a cracker, not pizza (bread)…
There was NO ONE at the store and all the containers for Parmesan cheese were empty. The napkin container at the table was empty. The TV that shows the pizza menu didn’t work. The soda fountain had nothing that was appetizing…

The Miramar location is always having one issue or another.
One night I ordered online and while it appeared that my order had gone through and my credit card had been charged, it was well over an hour and no pizza had arrived. I called and called the store several times and no one ever answered. I got a call the next day saying they had no power and had to close early, they offered no remedy other than to refund me what I was charged.
One another occasion I called and was told the driver did not come to work and they were not taking delivery orders… huh?!
Still yet, I placed another order a few weeks later and this time it was smooth. The website allows you to order online but you can only pay with a credit card, if you are paying with cash you have to call the store to order and most of the time whoever answers sounds like they would rather be anywhere but there.

They are lucky there is no option for -, they get 1 because that’s my only option. Went there ⁴⁄₁₇ placed the order at 8:09pm and unfortunately paid upfront to eat at the restaurant, I ordered one small cheese pizza for my kids and when I placed the order the cashier said it would be 5 minutes, at 8:31 I asked the same cashier and she said it was coming out right then, at 8:38 I complained out loud and one of the employees heard me and went to check it turns out they never made the pizza, he offered cupcakes to compensate for the wait and finally saw the pizza at 8:51, I had picked a booth right in front of the register precisely to make sure they didn’t firget about us but they obviously did. Worst pizza place in Miramar, that I known I would’ve ordered from Sals and picked it up myself!

Had lunch with my kids at sir pizza today. I asked for a few empty cups so that myself and kids could have a drink of water. The attendant/​cook/​server had to remind me that the cups are only for water. Will not be going back

My fist time in sir pizza was amazing. I don’t know what expect. I order a mix x– large pizza.
I recommend this place to everybody.

If I can give it 0 stars I would. What a poorly run business. No manager onsite and the store is being run by two inexperienced teenagers. Ordered online and paid for it online too. I get their and the cashier is playing on her phone barely servicing the customers in the restaurant. After I got her attention she said they didn’t have the order. I couldn’t wait an additional 25 – 30 minutes so I asked for a refund. She had no idea how to process it. I asked her for the manager, she wasn’t in. I asked for her phone, she said she didn’t have it. I asked for corporate’s phone. Didn’t have it either. When I threatened to call corporate she finally decided to call her manager who basically said she wouldn’t be in for a few hours. I asked the manager for corporate’s number she declined to give it. She said to trust her that in a few hours she will be in and process the credit. The way this store was being run? Sure… Thankfully a quick search gave me the corporate number and I spoke to the GM. Now I’m on a wait and see pattern on the credit. If this is the type of service that will continue in this location then never again.

I just tried placing an online order, and then placing a phone order and then ultimately showing up to the store. I’m pregnant so I really wanted the pizza with ranch sauce. They are closed! No sign, but the lights were off and no answer anywhere.

I ordered a small pizza online for delivery. The estimated time of arrival was 40 minutes. Being New Year’s Eve I suspected it would be more like an hour. After waiting an hour (30 minutes before the restaurant was supposed to close) I called to check on my order. I called 6 times before closing time and no one answered the phone. My pizza never arrived. I got a call this morning, «You placed an order this morning?» «No I placed an order last night at 8:30.» «Oh, you still want pizza or you want to cancel the order?» «I would like a refund.» «Oh you got a refund?» «No I WANT a refund.» «Ok, I cancel the order.» No apology, no explanation, nothing. I was awoken by their call and caught off guard but plan on calling to speak to the manager once fully awake for an explanation.

Ok I didn’t come here with high expectations, so I’m actually not disappointed. The first thing that got my attention were the ridiculous prices in relation to «Pizza» I ordered a large pepperoni (which is the equivalent of a small pie at your local Italian spot) that totaled almost $ 20.00! I decided to upgrade my large to x-​large since it was only 1.20 more.
Ok, enough of that, on to this famous pizza! Anyone remember Wednesdays back in the days was Pizza day in school? I loved it! Then again I was a teenager what did I know about pizza. Well Sir Pizza, I’m not a teenager anymore and the cafeteria pizza is perfect for kids or locals who don’t know what real pizza is, but to Chicago natives this ain’t gonna cut it!
The cheese is very limited you’ll have to pick from the center of the pie in order to enjoy the cheese. The pepperoni or whatever that’s supposed to be is the topping you’ll find on a frozen Totinos pizza. For the price I expected a real pizza, folks this is NOT real pizza.

I wrote a review a couple months ago but seems it has been pushed into the list of reviews that are not recommended. I think it is important that people know that Employees don’t seem to wash their hands or keep the restroom properly supplied with soap for customers to use.
The pizza itself is not that great. You would probably be more satisfied buying frozen pizza, unless you like Totinos. The staff is not that friendly.

No matter how many times I try to like this pizza… I just don’t. My kids love it, so I always give in. Anything else from the menu tastes frozen. No gusta…

I tried ordering a pizza online at this location. Not a complicated order: pizza on wheat with cheese and one half of pizza pepperoni. Their website wouldn’t let me do this. Odd, I thought. I selected the Weston location and I could input my order there. Frustrated, I called the location. The manager told me that they don’t make wheat pizza and they don’t allow half-​toppings online because they will charge it as a full topping. I then asked if I could just order while I’m on the phone with them and use my 20% off coupon (the Miami Heat won!) and they told me that it could only be accepted online… This place is a Sir Pizza in name only. Never again…

I rarely complain because I’m in the hospitality industry, but the 2.5 stars they have aren’t even deserved! The place is 5 mins from my house an pizza came COLD. I called the store to tell them this as a heads up and was greeted by a hostile team member named JOHN. He basically told me I was lying! Seriously dude? I was just informing that I had to microwave a just delivered pizza. Horrible customer service, ok pizza, and I’ll never go back to Sir Pizza… it should be called S**tty Pizza.

Pizza is like sex. Even when its bad, its still pretty good. Not the same as Key Biscayne, must be the water.

After ordering our dinner and sitting down, we realized through a gigantic poster in the back of the store that. special for the same meal we had ordered was available for about $ 20 less. When I questioned the cashier about it, he claimed it was company policy to not disclose specials! Whatttt? Of course, this was confirmed to be inaccurate by the wonderful executives in the corporate Coral Gables office. What an idiot! He refused to change my charge too. The manager” at this location spent his time trying to fix one of the ovens while also manipulating food to help out (yuck!). The only cashier manipulated cash while serving pizza and fixing it as he could not even cut the pies correctly, with his hands (yuck yuck!). While we were eating, at the only one single clean table right next to the bathroom hallway (place was filthy, all tables were dirty, piles of trays on the garbage bins, bathroom was inaccessible, etc etc), we also realized a gentleman had been waiting for a take out order. The young cashier handed him the wrong pizza, and joked around with the manager about how the previous customer had left with the wrong take out that belonged to the patient gentleman who had been waiting –and had to wait again for his pizza-​.
Needless to say, this place is a never again. Food was not as good as on other locations. But service? No comment … Shame on them.

The place was clean and my food was good. The cashier was friendly as was the owner. I ordered a 8 inch personal pizza, a cupcake and a diet Pepsi. It was 15.15. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was pretty good. I probably wouldn’t go back because it was a bit pricey. I went for lunch on a Thursday and it was empty. I thought as I was walking out… I could have had a meal at Carrabbas for 15.00 and had a superior meal.

The food may be good but the customer service is horrible. I ordered delivery today and the «manager» took my order but when it arrived it was wrong. When I called to complain the «manager» called me a liar told me he repeated the order to me three times and if it was wrong I should have told him then. First he didn’t repeat my order and on top of that I had to ask for my total and ask to confirm my address. He said I a liar and rude, I only became rude when he called me a liar. I will never order from this place again,

One of the main complaints seem to be the prices. During this visit the employee went out of their way to make sure I paid the coupon price even though I didnt have one. I got the Royal Feast, which is my favorite. Everyone seemed pretty friendly.

If you love Totino’s pizza and don’t mind paying 5xs as much for it then you’ll love Sir Pizza! Now, don’t get me wrong, I am a pizza lover and so I don’t discriminate nor do I ask for much from a pizza place but the pricing was a bit «off» for me.
We ordered 1 large (there are only 2 sizes, the other is really a personal) Rene Special. The Rene includes pepperoni, sausage and bacon (much like the Totino’s meat lovers) which was $ 18.99 and did not include anything else. Our free refill sodas were $ 1.99 a piece and the order of garlic bread (thin Italian bread toasted with butter and a bit of garlic and parsley which had no taste AND was over toasted) was $ 1.00 for 3 pcs.
The design of the place is odd and it is counter service (even though they still include a tip section on the receipt. Seriously WTH is up with counter service places doing that?). Once you place your order you have to walk back to the entrance to get your utensils and Styrofoam plates (What year is this again? Didn’t we chastise Styrofoam like 15yrs ago?!). The waitress/​cashier then brings out the pizza on a tray that you later have to put away.
Do i have a problem with counter service? Absolutely not… BUT, if you are charging me $ 18.99 for a thin crust, «I can make better than this at home», «why didn’t we go to Little Caesar’s and only pay $ 5?» pizza then the least you can do is bring me my utensils and plates. I’m just saying, a little goes a long way.
The four and a baby of us ate for $ 25.75 which covered one large «specialty» pizza, 2 sodas (with free refills) and one order of garlic bread, NO tip (we wiped down the table to ease the forced guilt).
Would I go again? Yes, but to a different location. Why? Because as we walked out feeling as if we were taken advantage of one of the kids pointing out a sign which was stuck between 2 outdoor bistro tables sideways (in other words, not visible). The sign read, «Family Special: 2 large, 1 topping pizzas and a 2 liter pepsi max $ 20». WHAT THE UGH!!! They cheated us out of a whole other pizza AND we paid for our sodas all because they decided to do a shitty job with their signage. My husband went back inside to point out the oversight to the manger who simply apologized. The sign was not fixed and he didn’t even offer us a cookie. Again, it’s the little things.
