Food is good but the service sucks. Took 45 minutes to get our food in an empty bar and someone else ended up having to bring it out because our waitress was screwing around.

My husband and I have been here 3 times. all spread out 1st our food wasn’t great but service was good. Second time we ordered nachos and 3 chicken strip meals… about 15 minutes AFTER we ordered a couple sat down next to us and they got their lobster dishes before us… in all we waited 45 minutes after we ordered our food still nothing… waitress said that our food was on its way out about 10 minutes later we started to walk out. when our waitress said that our food was only 3 minutes away… grrrrr We left. Our third time about a year later we decided to try it one more time… it was very busy and the WHOLE time we were there groups of ppl were waiting to be seated in front of our table watching us eat which was slightly uncomfortable. I ordered the pot pie which was not good. The crust was soggy, and left me craving KFC pot pie which are fantastic! So needless to say we won’t be going back which is dissapointing because it’s actually nice inside. :(

The environment was spectacular. High class feeling, clean, interesting. Good service good wine. And cheap. You would expect the menu to be double the price when you walk in and see how upscale the setting is. I ordered a 12oz ribeye for 15 dollars, it came with two delicious Sides. I would give 5 stars but I asked for the ribeye med rare and it came out bloody and barely cooked. I literally seared the leftovers for 10 minutes at home on an iron skillet to bring it to a nice pink and juicy med rare. All in all I would go again but if I ordered a steak I would ask for it medium or well done. I Jane a feeling it is completely inconsistent and if I ordered it medium it would come out overdone. We will see.

Love. The menu does not have a huge selection for actual dinner options, but it’s a large restaurant and somewhere that has generally good service. Very family friendly. Our son loves the fish and the queso dip. We go often on the wknds for an appetizer and drinks. Nothing too special, but a great option for something quick with a family. Thy can get very busy on Friday and Saturday nights but the wait time is never too bad.

I love Cheddars but at times the service can be a little slow but other then that the food is more then good if you have not been GOGOGO and get the honey butter croissants they are??? I don’t have a word to describe how good they are… just go and have a good time…

Sat at the bar for 10 minutes and was never greeted once. Got up to speak to a manager and they had no clue where one was(of course). Asked if they had a bartender working tonight and they said of course they did and she was great. After asking where she was then they had nothing to say. Horrible experience! I usually love eating at cheddars for there food and great drink prices but something like that is unacceptable.

I’m giving 4 stars because I have been to other cheddars and it’s always been delicious and a great experience. This cheddars location dropped needs to rethink who they have hired!!! We went a few weeks ago while staying in the area because my husband is being relocated and we were super excited to find a cheddars here. It was a Saturday night so we figured there would be a wait. 5 girls standing at the hostess station and one of them tells us 30 – 45 minute wait. So we sit down with our buzzer and wait. We watched people come and go for such a long time when I notice a party of 4 who came in way after us gets seated. We figure there are more of them maybe a large table opened up. Next to be seated was a couple who came in after us, and then another! My husband goes up to the hostess stand and asks why people who came in after us have already been seated. All the girls look at each other confused and then one says(very unenthusiastic) «come with me». We follow her as she stomps off to a booth and just points to it with a look on her face that seemed to read«there, happy now?» Our waitress was not much more chipper and rushed us through everything while we wanted to relax and talk since we had been house hunting all day and were in no hurry to go back to our hotel. While we were waiting for a drink refill(that we finally gave up on) two boys bussing the table behind us were cussing up a storm and making fun of another customer. I’m not a prude I have heard cuss words before but it’s not something I expect to hear over dinner while dinning out. My heart broke for the woman they were bashing and prayed she didn’t hear them. After we gave up trying to get a drink refill we just left yeah the food was great but who cares at that point. So like I said I gave this place 4 stars because we are long time patrons of this franchise but I didn’t care at all for who runs this particular one and the people they employ! …seriously why do you need a herd of girls to run the hostess stand?!

I just moved to the area about a month and a half ago. My fiancée and I have been trying different restaurants around town. Both chain and local restaurants. Cheddar’s, so far, is the worst. I ordered their bacon cheeseburger and she ordered the chicken pot pie. Here were the problems with both the meal and the service: Burger: unseasoned. It was bland and greasy Pot pie: She said it was ‘ok’, but because it was soupy, a spoon would have been nice. Our waiter, Justin, didn’t make an effort to offer one. Many would say«why didn’t you ask?» Why should we have to ask? Did he not know the texture of the pot pie? Service: Justin seemed like he wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible. He never asked how the meal was. He never offered us refills. He didn’t offer us dessert or coffee after the meal. When he brought the meals to the table, he quickly turned and walked away. We went at 3:30pm on a Friday; the place was NOT busy at all. Good service is a major part of any dining experience and this lack of service put a bad taste in our mouth(not to mention the burger!). Good luck Cheddar’s, we won’t be back.

The staff at Cheddars was terrific. My husband’s blood sugar had dropped and needed to be seated right away. They seated us and immediately brought him a Coke to drink We appreciated it very much and loved the food. We def will return.

Im not usually a fan of «comfort food», because I try to eat very healthy, and it’s usually very rich. However, my daughter and I were needing some comfort… so we stopped at Cheddars. It exceeded our expectations. Onion rings — great. Spinach dip — really good. Home made chicken pot pie — lots of vegetables over overall delicious. We also tried the house-smoked ribs. And all for a very, very, reasonable. price. Cheddars, we will return.

My family went on a busy Saturday night and waited about 30min. We see that this place is alwyas busy so we were really excited to try it but we were disappointed. The service was terrible with nothing special about the food… and we waited almost over an hour for it. Two tables sat after us and ate before us. Lets not forget they messed up our order also. We even waited forever for our drinks and even the check. Thank god we ordered my 2 year Olds food as soon as we sat down. We will not be going back. The food and service is not that good.

The club sandwich is not that good and turns out to be a smaller portion than imagined. The responsiveness of my waiter was slow. We had to flag another waitress over because he forgot avout us.

Seating was quick. The initial wait was short for our drinks. The food was very good and served in a reasonable amount of time. The problem is the server was very slow after we were served our food. When our drinks emptied it took to long for a refill and check processing

By far, one of the best meals in a long time! Cheddars is an authentic«scratch kitchen» — real food, cooked well. Customer service was on point — server advised us that«the guys in the back are happy to tweak anything on the menu»,(who says that)? And when our meals were delivered by the GM, we knew we had stumbled onto something… great! And, if all that wasn’t over the top, our bill for an app, 2 entrees with 2 sides each, beverages & dessert to go came to $ 37 wow!

We went on a very busy Saturday night. There was a wait, but we expected it so no stress there. The service was so so. It took a while to get our drinks, and one of us waited a good 15 minutes for a mojito. They told us they ran out of glasses… what?! I’m not sure how that can happen at such a well established chain. I ordered chicken pot pie and husband had a lemon grilled fish. The food was good. Always enjoy chicken pot pie, and this one was not as salty as they can tend to be. Very nice. My Caesar appetizer was passable, but had a bit too much dressing. Our friends enjoyed their lemon chicken and pasta dishes as well. No complaints from them that I remember, except for the long wait time for a clean glass. LOL All in all it was a fair experience. We won’t say no to going here in the future.

For an an appetizer we had homemade onion rings for: $ 4.79 for a large plate full. You can taste the difference homemade and frozen. The taste is so much better. The two dinners we got were: — Lemon Pepper Chicken /$ 8.99 — Grilled Chicken Pecan Salad /$ 8.49 — Coffee — Sodas My mother and I split the meals like we always do. The chicken was very good. It was grilled with sear marks which is what I like. The chicken was very tender and juicy. The meat was not dried like other places ive been to. Since I don’t eat Red Meat any more. I tend to stay with chicken fish meals. The Chicken Pecan Salad had the rite amount of ingredients. It was very large and filling. If you want good quality food at a reasonable price this is the place for you.

I went to Cheddar’s for the first time after hearing a lot about it from a friend who had been before, however, this friend went to a Cheddar’s in Nashville, TN — that may be what made the difference. My friend raved about the chicken tenders, but I opted to go with a chicken dish that came with Dijon mustard and mushrooms. I like them both but never had them together and now I know why, those two things don’t go together in a meal. The chicken was tender and juicy and my sides were nice, but they could’ve nixed the Dijon and maybe used a different type of gravy to top the chicken that would actually taste good with mushrooms. Overall, I would go back and this time try the chicken tenders

We went here the last night our son was in the NICU and it was a pretty pleasing dinner. When I first saw the menu it wasn’t really what I was expecting(more homecooked style than deep fried) but it was definitely on par when it came to the quality I was hoping for. The service was prompt and the staff friendly. Cheddar’s is certainly worth a try!

This place stinks. It’s about.7:00 on Sunday, December 28th, 2014. I have just. been seated with my party after an interminable wait. Waiting for a table is no big deal. Waiting for a table while watching empty tables go unused is unforgivable. I don’t care how the food is. I’m disgusted with the hostess staff and complete cluster of dining room management that the food will not be able to turn this disaster around. Is there a way to give negative stars on Unilocal?!! End of meal now. Didn’t think it would possible for the food to be worse than the operation, but they came through for me in the clutch. Stay away from this location if you want to save your time and money

Cheddar is an interesting concept. The ambiance is quite nice, probably on par with or better than corporate restaurants like TGI Friday’s or Ruby Tuesday, but the price is noticeably lower. At the risk of sounding like an elitist, the great value offered tends to attract the kind of crowd that can’t usually afford full-service sit-down restaurants. I saw a customer with a wife-beater, shorts, and sneakers. He wouldn’t be out of place at Ihop or some other diner, but he didn’t fit this supposedly more polished environment. My first visit to the place was a disaster. I don’t even remember what I ordered anymore because I was really unhappy. We ordered a couple of glasses of water. Three glasses came, one was visibly cracked, and another had something floating in it. It appeared to be a small piece of lemon, but since we didn’t order lemon in our water there’s no telling where it came from. We sent the cracked glass back and didn’t bother with the mystery piece, because we didn’t want to further delay the order. We waited for quite a long time, only to hear the manager told us that there’s something wrong with their computer system so our orders had to be recreated and resubmitted. After what seemed like ages we received our food, which was good but nothing to write home about. When it was time to pay, I examined the bill(as I always do) and was surprised at the high price. Upon closer inspection they charged us double for everything, which must have happened when they recreated the ticket in their system, they just forgot to cancel the old one. The only positive thing that I can say is that our server was excellent, and she was genuinely mortified at the screw-ups and kept apologizing to us. We left her a standard tip even though our overall dining experience was terrible. It’s the only reason I rate the place a two-star instead of one. I blame the management on this. Two MAJOR screw ups(very late food, wrong bill) and the manager didn’t even bother to come to the table again and apologize for the bill. I worked in food service a while back, so I know only a manager can fix a screwed up ticket in the system. Despite knowing about two screw ups, they didn’t come and rectify it by offering a discount or a comp. Any one of the restaurant managers I worked with would have taken items off the bill to apologize for this kind of fiasco. Not recommended.

Food is good. Service is terrible. Takes over five minutes to get a diet coke– even when sitting at a table in the bar. We had to ask and wait five minutes for a side if dressing. Also waited an unusual length if time to pay. This was supposed to be a quick lunch.
