Little known gem except for regular passersby through Mishawaka and martial arts afficianados, Escrime du Lac is a nonprofit fencing academy typically run by the ND fencing team staff and local club members.
Fencing is a wonderful sport and for those who love it a joy. There are not many places to learn this art in Indiana. I expect you could count them on your main gauche.
Yes it can be expensive. It is demanding and slackers need not apply. Motivated students welcomed.
The facility is utilitarian but totally satisfactory.
We love it.
