Kroger

I’ve been shopping here for the last 2 months or so for one simple reason, Krogers has refused to give in to Moms Demand Action and their attempt to disarm the general public! Any store that tells MDA to take a hike has my support 110%! The prices are pretty much rock bottom and the produce they sell is always fresh and delicious. I really like that no matter what time of day it is this Kroger is always an easy in and out shopping trip. And to the whiner out there (you know who you are) you can always find something to complain if you look hard enough so suck it up and just go the rude bastards at Whole Foods.

This is a poor Krogers, as far as Krogers go. I’ve had to complain to corporate about this particular store twice. Once, the meat department refused to slice my roast so I could make cheese steaks. And, the other, they were sending people with FULL carts through the self checkouts while at least two available staff were chatting in the office and the checker was on break. Often, they don’t keep a lane open if they think they can get away with making you do it yourself. They’re also at times out of carts inside, and you have to go back out to bring one in. The produce section is sparsely stocked on most occasions, and you can’t make anything remotely specialized from their stock. There is a pharmacy, so I may deserve another star, but I’m rating the grocery.
