Whaat? I dont know what Emilie b. Is talking about!!! I come here all the time! I love all the selections they have! As far as the macaroons, there other tasty pastries!!! Im really satisfied that im able to adjust sugar on my drinks tooo!!! The thai tea is a little different from other boba places! But hey! Its still good! They seem to stand out for me! Taro tea also i had heard was a bit grainy but realizing thats how taro is! If ever go to asia and you go Chatime its going to be the same!!!

Taste is king when it comes to boba teas… This was one of the worst ones I’ve had. It came out very powdery for some reason most of it didn’t dissolve. And the boba wasn’t very tasty and kind of hard too. I wanted to bring it back but that’s a No-No when it comes to foods never know what you’ll get second go around. It was $ 5 too not worth it go a little further and get a Starbucks deal or something.

Really mediocre drinks, especially for the price. I really did not like the flavor at all, something tasted«off» about it. Fake tasting. What really angered me was seeing that they sell a pack of macaron cookies for $ 15– literally that EXACT pack came from Trader Joe’s for $ 4.99, they just took the label off and are re-selling them for a huge markup.

Worst boba I have ever had. The Thai tea did not even resemble the taste of actual Thai tea. So sad I spend $ 5 on it. If you like boba, don’t waste your time here.

I tried the tea a couple of weeks ago and it was ok. I went back today to get 5 drinks for an office but the worker informed me that they don’t open until 11:00. Too bad. It would be a convenient place to grab drinks for the office. Off to another boba place.

I got the taro tea with boba and the milk tea tasted like a milkshake with Oreos in it. It was a very gritty tasting tea.

Tried almost everything on the menu and my favorites are jasmine green milk tea, peach, Hawaiian and passion green teas, and the banana milk tea. Coconut, rainbow and coffee jelly’s are a great add in but the boba is too soft for my taste. Best of all fairly priced! Love coming here!!!

Nice little tea boba pop up in the middle of Mission Viejo Mall food court, it’s a convenient location for the residents of South OC. Menu consists of a variety of green, black & flavor tea, slush, smoothie… with toppings such as boba, jelly… they also have tiramisu, pudding. ect… We ordered a tea & a slush, they were quenching. Service was good. Glad that this place is here now.

Surprisingly decent drinks! I don’t care for tapioca, so I cannot comment on its taste or quality, but their teas are really good! As with most boba places, sweetness is customizable. If you order their lychee green/black tea, I highly suggest asking for no additional sweetener(or a quarter if you’re into really sugary drinks). Their taro milk tea is delicious!!! It’s a slightly thicker/starchier consistency compared to other boba places, but it tastes really authentic. Again, I recommend only a quarter sweetness added for the taro. I’ll be back to try other drinks soon, considering I’m at this mall fairly often!

I was really excited for this place but we have been there 3 times to get boba and 2 of the 3 times they were out of boba. It was the middle of the day too, not anywhere near closing time! Hopefully they get it figured out soon because I thought the boba and drinks were pretty good the one time they did have boba.

Very convenient being in the center of the mall food court! She did a great job making my boba roasted tea the way I asked for, less ice and half sugar. Boba is chewy and tea tastes great.

In the middle of the food court, great for milk tea and boba, so many options I’m sure you can find something you like. Some cakes and chocolate desserts that are actually good, not the cheapo stuff they know they can sell at these places. Great place if you need to munch on something while browsing the mall or just have some dessert to go after lunch.

BEWAREOFFILLINGUPCUPSPACEWITHICE!!! I almost gave this place 5 stars UNTIL we caught a teenage male worker add more ice just to fill up the tea higher in the large size cup!!! The teas themselves taste very good and fresh, the boba is a nice consistency. But when I saw that ice cup-filler move, I had to mention in this review. Good thing I was the next one in line, I almost ordered a large and risked getting a cup full of ice. Sucks for that one customer who got a cup with 75% ice, 20% milk tea, and 5% boba. Sorry Chatime, I was really hoping you’d be good, since that mall you’re in is my favorite in South OC. I will still be back, since the drinks taste so good and fairly affordable at $ 3.75 for a regular milk tea with boba. Lesson: Watch them while they make your drink!

$ 4.50 for a large chatime milk tea and $.50 for boba. A regular chocolate smoothie is $ 3.75 plus $.50 for boba. Friendly service and the wait is a little long because when we went there was only one girl working. Otherwise I’m happy they a boba place in the mall.

Definitely the best boba place in south Orange County. I got the Hawaiian fruit tea with boba and it was very tasty! The tea was sweet and tropical and the boba was very good quality not going to lie. It was firm yet squishy. However, I feel like it could have been a little sweeter but it was still a lot better than some other boba places I’ve gone to. Also, some places have the issue of not giving you enough boba but this place gave me a little bit too much. I guess that’s better than too little though. I’ll definitely go back if I’m craving boba on the go and don’t want to drive all the way up to my go to boba place in Irvine.

Chatime is a little kiosk in the middle of the food court of Mission Viejo Mall. Since it’s a small location, the menu is smaller than tapioca places like Quickly where you can basically imagine a flavor and it’s there… for instance they don’t have Thai tea here. However, the drinks are good and the tapioca is fresh. Price-wise it’s about $ 4 for a small drink, which is fairly typical.

Finally a good boba place in Mission Viejo. Now I don’t need to go all the way to Irvine when I am having a boba milk tea craves.

Very friendly, fast and great tea! The sweets are also delicious and I’ll definitely be coming back here soon. It’s about time there was a boba place in the mission viejo mall :)
