Descent place to grab coffee.
Service was nice, but pretty slow and the drinks a bit inconsistent.
Nice selection of drinks, hot, iced and blended, with and without coffee.
My son had a cookies and cream shake, pretty good.
I had the blended mocha and my husband an iced caramel, both ok, but not stellar.
Prices are average, not too busy and plenty of easy parking, just nothing wowed me to want to return here.

My new favorite coffee shop! I can’t believe I’ve never been here before and it’s right down the street from my office! Friendly staff, superb coffee, and delicious food! Love it!

I go to Chocobean often and feel the staff are truly awesome. Their knowlodge of the product is unncompairable. Now for the BUTT. I was in on 05/30/2016 and spent 3 hours there. I ordered a quad espresso first with ice water then a hot tea and Tuna Fish on pumpernickel. AWESOME SANDWHICH and staff was as well. Shift change at noon and owner came in. I then got an ice water. The owner took my cup and dipped into the ice ben. When I responded to the owner man doing that I truly hope it was that he did not understand what I was saying Im not Asian so I not sure what language he spoke. I have nothing of diseases so I know all are fine. I reported it to the county and they did investigate the incident. I will return if aloud just hope this is not a common occurrence.

Fresh, tasty, friendly.
Family owned been around for many years.
Exceptionally good espresso and coffee.
Not as hectic as the «other» coffee houses on every corner.
Try the smoked salmon bagel! To DIE!
Also the Veggie Bagel with AVOCADO, TOMATO, RED ONION-sliced THIN-a schmear of veggie cream cheese, and topped with a generous shake of lemon pepper seasoning. It feeds my soul.
Bagels come from I Love Bagels — so they are good. Best of both worlds.

I’m going to call BS on the Frannie N. who couldn’t get food at 2:15 in the afternoon. Are you kidding? You’re going to tell me that you drove all the way from Anaheim to Mission Viejo to get food at a coffee shop in the mid-afternoon? Give me a freakin’ break. I live in MV, work in SJC and go in there 3 – 4 times a week. Joel is a very nice guy, their food is great, and I will be back again & again. Since they close at 3:00 PM, they have to cut off some services at a certain point so people are not seating themselves at 2:58 pm. It’s a coffee shop which is serving in the morning through lunch time. What were you expecting? I also see that you trash every 1 out of 2 establishments in your review list. I have never posted on Unilocal and signed up just today when I heard about what you did, just so I could respond to you. Stay in Anaheim.

The man behind the counter, who seems to be the only one working, isn’t friendly. He was rushing me through my order and seemed irritated while taking my order. Please improve your customer service as most people won’t come back to a coffer shop with unfriendly service.
The coffee and bagel were good but like I said. If the service isn’t, people will stop coming.

The only guy working there, sitting by himself, reading the newspaper, is a jerk. It’s 215pm and they close at 3pm but he refuses to serve food… only drinks. I could be wrong but I didn’t see anywhere that they stop serving food at 2pm as he stated. Bummer since we drove from Anaheim, but oh well.

I enjoyed my mocha. Prices are reasonable (less than Starbucks). I was half expecting rude service given some of the previous reviews, but the guy was pleasant (and he even stayed open a few minutes late because I got there just after closing).

I ordered a small Toffee Nut latte and paid $ 4.85, I asked the man behind the counter if he can please put some chocolate syrup on top so the espresso would not taste super strong. he got so upset and said «everything costs money! this is extra i’ll do you a favor now but this is extra and everything costs money don’t you know that!» I was so appalled at his response, I told him I just paid you $ 4.85 i’m sorry I did not know a small amount would be extra. Not only was the drink terribly made, the service was horrible and unwelcoming… honestly there are other more friendly and welcoming coffee shops I won’t be coming back here.

I love it! Well being bagel & southwest chicken sandwich are a must. Also their milk tea. I don’t come here often because I don’t live in the area. Before the owner was at the front now there’s a new employee and he is by far the rudest everrrrr! So rude to customer and the other cashier. What is your problem?!

This is a nice local neighborhood coffee shop. I love their hot latte. It tastes like coffee and not a cup of hot milk like a certain coffee place that’s on every corner. I am also in love with their ice tea they serve that has a big orange slice in it. It’s perfect! Has a little citrus flavor to it. Doesn’t need sweetener. Two thumbs up from me!

Seems like a family owned/run business. Very friendly staff. Their drinks & breakfast bagels are on point! They make their drinks ridiculously fast! No coffee/tea place can beat the timing they run on! I have yet to try their sandwiches but I will soon! I absolutely love the atmosphere! Not super loud, good background music, great place to have little meetings or study. WAYY better than Starbucks. I feel like their spiced chai is better too… Matter of fact their drinks in general taste better than the Starbucks in the plaza. I’ve always been pretty satisfied whenever I come here.

This little Mission Viejo Corner roaster Décor is genuinely friendly without a «script». Hot days takes me by for A great Blended Chocco Chill plus great breakfast and lunch tasties.

This spot may be one of my new favorites. I had a little over an hour between meetings in the area so decided to stop in to try the coffee (great brew) and send off some emails. Also ordered a greek salad that was delicious. The owners seem to be great people, and I will definitely be back. We should all support our local family-owned businesses.

Quality food, excellent coffee, super friendly staff, good value and it actually smells better than any coffee shop I’ve been to!
3 stars because they WILL screw your order up 9 out of 10 times. I’ve been coming here several times a week for years and there’s nothing I can do to improve that ratio. I speak slow, clear and articulate each word before proceeding to the next. We then repeat the order and, no, this is not done in a condescending fashion. Nonetheless, the order will be wrong nearly every time.
But they always correct it and, due to the 1^st sentence of this review, I keep coming back. The key here is to add a 5-minute buffer to your expected wait time. This is about as long as it will take to check your incorrect order, let them know and wait for the new one. As long as your expectations are set accordingly then you’ll still walk away a happy camper.
