Loved this place the first few times I went, as they had great sandwiches and friendly service. However, I did have a complaint about an item on one occasion and the staff became extremely rude and basically argued with me. It was a totally unacceptable way to handle the situation. I honestly did not make a big deal, just said that the item did not taste the way it should. The owner told me they had«never had a complaint about anything in 18 years». Man, are they lucky. So, when you do get a complaint, take it seriously and don’t argue with your guest. Don’t talk to your guests as if they are stupid. That is the perfect recipe for failure.

Best sandwiches in town! The pastrami is my favorite! Great quality for a good price, and the pickle on the side is a plus. Must try!

Wow. Just phone-ordered 2 sandwiches. Fabulous! Good Bread, great ingredients, and tastes more like the old-style corner deli. I will repeat!!!

This is one my favorite delis in the area. Their food is always fresh and delicious. You know a place is good when it’s been there forever! The sandwiches are made with perfect proportions and the side salads are beyond delicious! My favorite is Tuna on squaw add avocado, yum! Make sure to try the cucumber side salad for a refreshing treat. The family that owns this place is amazing… I love that they keep a note with the regular’s favorite orders on the wall for a quick and easy pick up or call in order to go.

hands down one of my favorite places to get a sammich! Their egg salad is to DIE for! Plenty of meats and cheeses on the sammich. great for lunch meetings. they will cater even last minute business meetings. just order a variety of sandwiches and give them the number of people and they make it alllllll happen. Mary is just the best. It may seem expensive but if you want a quality ingredient meal, this is the place.

Coming here is always a pleasure. I love Heidi, Maria, and Rudy. They are always so sweet and kind. It is always a great experience. Connie is amazing. I love socializing and speaking with her. The food is beyond amazing. Their sandwiches are delicious, for lack of a better word. All their soups are fantastic! Wednesday’s tomato basil, vegetable, chili bean, barlie, and the list goes on. They have a soup for everyone’s taste buds. High Park Deli is not only a treat, not only a pleasure, but a real gem. One cannot escape satisfaction when going here.

This little deli makes a mean sandwich, clearly above average. My office used to be within walking distance, and I was a frequent customer. We moved a few miles up Jeronimo, and now I rarely can conveniently visit the Deli. When I do, it’s a real treat. As others have mentioned, the crusty french bread is wonderful for sandwiches — I certainly prefer it to regular sandwich breads. Their meatloaf is unusually good, and not commonly found on sandwiches in this part of the country. Thumbs up. My own favorite is the corned beef, which many delis don’t regularly stock. The corned beef appears to be low-fat and high-quality. Cheese costs a little extra, unfortunately, but a corned beef sandwich without Swiss cheese is a crime against humanity. I wish they were open weekends, but given the location in a primarily business-oriented area, I guess that’s understandable. Anyway, folks would be unlikely to accidentally stumble on the location; it’s well worth fitting into one’s lunchtime repertoire. Art

This place should be called cruella de vil deli. We came on a Tuesday with our 10lb Boston terrier to sit on the patio. And please note no one was there. When my fiancé went inside to get a menu the owner continued to bitch about how she hates dogs and people that bring them. Then the other owner came out and pretty much told me to leave. Now these days most places with tables outside don’t care if you bring your dog. And again this place was completely empty so we weren’t bothering any other customers. It’s sad because we had been looking forward to trying this place. Absolutely horrible customer service and would never eat here or recommend anyone else too.

Good fresh quality but a little on the pricier side considering the size of the sandwich. Generous meat portions. Credit/debit cards extra 0.50 charge.

Great little deli in a business park. They have a wide variety of sandwiches along with salads, sides, and a freshly made soup of the day. My favorites include the tomato soup with croutons and the Italian wedding. Their sandwich meats are shaved fresh and high quality. My favorites are the hot corned beef with provolone on rye, the meatball on a roll, and the caprese.

High Park Deli showed up on my radar a few weeks back when I noticed my mechanic chowing down on a good looking hoagie. He proceed to provide an endorsement that had me salivating like Pavlov’s dog. For my maiden voyage I opted for meatloaf«fresh out the oven» on french bread with the normal sandwich fixens. The meatloaf was very tasty and not the least bit greasy, the french bread was perfect, and the veggies were all fresh… even the pickle wedge. The staff was very nice and helpful… they take pride in their establishment. The venue was clean and pleasant albeit nothing special(all I need for a deli). I’m just bummed they are not open on weekends or for dinner… otherwise they would make it into my regular rotation.

This place is within walking distance of my job and is perfect for those busy days when I forget to bring a lunch. They use delicious, fresh ingredients. I love the BLT with Avocado. Their turkey sandwich is also good and they put a lot of meat on it, which is nice. My one issue with this place is the price. I feel it’s a little expensive. Ya the food is good, but in the end it’s still just sandwiches, there is nothing that makes them stand out. Maybe trying the soups will change my mind…

I’m sucker for a great deli and small as this one is, it’s great. I think it’s family owned, at least it feels that way each time I go in. It’s around the corner from my office and each time I make a quick pit stop, the experience is always great. My favorite by far is the tuna on squaw with just a hint of jack cheese! Love it!

I love the tomato basil soup on Wednesdays. It has these little raviolis in the bottom & croutons on top. One of my favorite soups. The ladies that run it are super nice. I eat here all the time.
