Gigi’s Cupcakes of Mission

Gigi’s in Mission is, in my opinion, the best Gigi’s in town! I have Celiac’s disease and hands down these are the BEST gluten free cupcakes in Kansas. I buy these for all occasions and love the rewards programs and daily specials. The staff is always smiling and so helpful, I go out of my way to go to this location and will continue to.

Went into this Gigi’s today (07-​8-​2015) it was nice having a Gigi’s cupcakes near by instead of going all the way to the overland park one. It was cute inside. I was buying some cupcakes for me and my mother. Since my mom always buys them. I never how high these cupcakes were!
They were $ 3.25 each! EACH!!! Just getting almost 3 cupcakes
was like $ 10.05 but more around $ 10 I had to ask the girl to put one of them back. The girl (Jessica) didn’t seem like she wanted too. We got 2 cupcakes. (Cotten candy and pink champagne)
My mom ask her for some water and she said «there’s some bottled water right there.» And it was just some bottled water with there logo on it in a mini frig. (My mom didn’t ask for the cost cause she knew it would cost) my mom asked. «Can I at least get a cup of water please?» And she said «no, that’s all the water we have.» So we said forget it and got our cupcakes and left.
All in all they were good. But they need to lower the price.

If you like sweet things, you will love Gigi’s Cupcakes.
Needless to say, Gigi’s Cupcakes, sells cupcakes. They have a pretty decent variety too. Cupcakes vary from Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, to Orange Dream, to Bubble Gum, and many more. They also sell «stuffed cookies», which are essentially cookies with icing in-​between the two (Too good to be true). The cookies come in flavors like «Peanut Butter» or «Snickerdoodle» and a couple of others. Each of the cupcakes is topped with a generous (very generous) amount of icing on top. The icing is unbelievably sweet, and the base itself can be pretty sweet too. I, myself, had the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cupcake, and it had a vanilla base with chocolate chips in it, with cookie dough-​flavored icing with chocolate chips on-​top. It was ridiculously satisfying, and made me want to buy another one.
Each cupcake will run you about $ 3.75, so they’re not horribly expensive. I’ve seen people walk out with a dozen in-​hand, so they could be a lot worse. The staff were all really friendly, and made sure I didn’t get overwhelmed by the choices.
All in all, great place to satisfy a hankering for some sweet stuff, and I look forward to coming back (Because I have to try that lemonade!)

Stopped by Gigi’s for the first time today. They were a little busy with a pre-​lunch Saturday crowd. Not a huge crowd, but enough to take them a few minutes to work through the line. They were good at keeping the line moving through and very friendly. I just got their mini 4-​pack this time around. The cupcakes are good, especially if you like a lot of icing. Their icing is very tasty unlike some places. I wasn’t overly impressed by the pink icing (maybe it’s just pink… I thought it would be flavored… so possibly not a flaw, it just tasted like icing). Their chocolate icing was very yummy.
Next time, I want to try one of the cheesecake cupcakes. The oatmeal cookie sandwiches look good and I’ve got to try their pink lemonade!
