Just ok. Burger significantly overdone, fries generically seasoned and uninteresting, service indifferent. Atmosphere was sleek but generic. Would not return.

Food was good. My son loves the burgers, I love the sweet potato fries and the ranch! Server was sweet and helpful. Accommodating to my son’s allergies. Restaurant was hot (stuffy, not oppressive), food took a while to come out. We will be back.

Most awful bar experience of my life. We were down in the basement for pool league and the server charged me for drinks more expensive than the ones I ordered, added extra shots to our tab that we didn’t order, was incredibly rude when I reminded him for the third time that I was on my husbands tab, yelled drinks out and left them at the bar for us to come get instead of delivering them, and when he rang in one too many he walked around the room and yelled at the group (9 people) because someone wasn’t claiming it. It took forever to place orders and when we finally got so uncomfortable we just tabbed out he stood beside us on his phone while we filled out the credit card slip. My husband doesn’t like to be a bad tipper so he left about 18% and UNFRONT OF US the server looks at it and goes «Jesus really». The manager apologized profusely and gave us a gift card to cover our tab but honestly it was such an awful experience and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look past it.

We’ve had several parties there and have been wowed by their service. They really go all out to take care of their clients and make sure everyone at the party has a great time. Several friends who’d never been there were very impressed by their family friendly atmosphere and attention to detail. Great place to throw any kind of party. Susie B

I’m updating my review because they deserve it. I’d give them 6 stars if I could. Our server tonight was Donald and he did an amazing job. The food was top notch and the staff was lovely. We brought a few friends with is tonight and we all had a great time. I honestly couldn’t say enough great things about Lucky ’ s tonight. Definitely glad we gave them a 2^nd chance and we WILL be returning.

I was hungry for some breakfast at noon on a Saturday so I stopped in and ordered the biscuits and gravy. 2 biscuits with Italian sausage gravy, 2 slices of bacon, and it cam with breakfast potatoes instead of the hash browns listed on the menu. The meal looked good but the biscuits were sliced, but not opened, with a ladle of gravy on each one. Once you open the biscuits there was practically no gravy on the bottom half, leaving it basically dry, so I asked for some more gravy. I received a small container of gravy and later found out I was charged for it on my bill. It’s not like I was asking for additional toppings that didn’t come on the meal, just a little more gravy to avoid eating a dry biscuit. I’m surprised I wasn’t charged for my ketchup for the potatoes.
The meal was good and the ambiance was calm and quiet for a Saturday afternoon. There are lots of TVs of different sizes with a variety of programming on.
Being charged to make the meal edible just sits wrong with me.

I have always had a really good experience here. It’s a pretty unique menu, which I really like. The Cajun quesadilla appetizer is really good, and I’ve always really liked their pastas. I tried their brunch for the first time and got the BLTE, and it was good as well. Definitely recommend checking it out.

It’s a Brewgrille! If you go in with that expectation, you won’t be disappointed. The menu is lengthy and the food is really tasty. You won’t have to wait in line for a table and you won’t go home broke. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. We’re fans!

Hosted a birthday party in the private basement area for approx. 80 people. Amy coordinated. Very smooth experience and satisfied ending. Felt pricing was reasonable and there were no unexpected charges. Had an appetizer buffet with food service and arrival of guests timed perfect. Cash bar with 2 wonderful waitresses. Set up was perfect for mingling with low top tables, booths, high tops and general standing room. Offered multiple TV’s for a photo slide show DVD as well as Royals game. Bruchetta was amazing and so were steak skewers. Great experience.

The three star rating is for the overall experience. The restaurant was extremely hot while we were there, and the service wasn’t anything to brag about. I will say that the food was amazing! The table ordered an Inside Out Burger, Shrimp and Bacon Club, and a steak– all YUMMY! Definitely worth a shot!

Really good food and friendly services.

Went to the Lucky during the basketball tournament and had seafood skewers. The kitchen did a nice job of preparing the dish. They have something for everybody so it’s a great place for families and groups — appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, steaks, seafood, pastas, etc. Also have an event room downstairs which was very active when we were there.
The staff is friendly and extremely attentive. Good drinks and a great bar selection. Complete video monitor coverage and also a big screen on which we enjoyed watching the basketball game.
Nice to have both the owner and the manager stop by our table to make sure we were having a good time. They really do a nice job of making you feel welcome.
My wife and I like after dinner coffees and we were surprised on our first visit to find out they also have a specialty coffee house next door.
We haven’t tried the weekend brunches but plan to in the near future as the weather improves.
Consistently good and well maintained bar and grill. It’s becoming one of our favorite places to go.

Cool place off the beaten path! We are here for lunch, the wife got brunch and we were very happy with the food the service and the atmosphere. The French dip type sandwich was extra scrumptious with a hint of horseradish. Yum

So this review is for their coffee shop next door. I love their cinnamon roll latte. Its sweet, creamy and very tasty. The girl barista is super sweet and is always very friendly. She’s the reason why I keep coming back. Plus their regular coffee had good bold flavors and they usually have 3 blends to choose from. Great service and great drinks.

I am going to be the odd one out regarding other reviews. My husband and I used to frequent Lucky Brewgrille because of it’s close proximity to our house. But, the last few times we have been it’s been eh… blah food and not great service.
I think the food’s quality isn’t worth the price. The service has been iffy at best. It’s either on or off; never in between. It seems like most of the customers are ones who have been going there forever and are satisfied with the stale atmosphere.
It’s too bad because Mission doesn’t have a lot of good dining choices.

Great place to hang out if you’re a fellow K-​Stater.
Friend suggested the place because we wanted to watch the KU game. Walking in, there are TV’s everywhere and a huge projection setup with the game on. The seating is spacious and comfortable.
Service wise, they were very quick to seat us and take our orders. Perhaps because it was a slow day?
Anyways we only came for the game and drinks. They have tons of seasonal drink specials. They were a bit expensive, but honestly they were well made and worth it.
Can’t comment on their food as I haven’t had it.
Would definitely come back at some point when I stop by in KC.

I don’t come here a lot. It’s good enough, but never great. Next time, I swear I will get a hamburger — the hamburgers always are good. The waffle fries were really yummy.
This place isn’t bad or anything, it’s just kind of meh to me.

Headed here for dinner on Friday night with my husband and son. We all had definite cravings when we walked in the door. Mine was chicken strips, my husband’s was calamari and my son’s was grilled cheese — so that’s what we ordered (with sweet potato fries). None of us were disappointed. In fact, I’ve never seen my two-​year-​old scarf down a sandwich so quickly.
Our server told me that they made their own batter and hot sauce for the chicken strips. They were lightly breaded so it actually made more sense to eat them with a fork and knife, which was fine with me. That also made them seem a lot less heavy.
They also had live music playing among the various sports being broadcast on all of the TVs (the one closest to us had softball playing).
Another great plus, the kid’s menu is only $ 2.99 (including drink and side). Well worth it! The brunch also looks really good, so we look forward to returning to try it too.
