Our experience was terrible. Hubby brought home some kind of Tornado Taco special which was 5 tacos. The meat was very under seasoned and the taco shells were old and in that old weird taste taco shells get when left out too long. So basically we had to strip all the tacos and make a taco salad that we had to add a lot of hot sauce on to make edible. Won’t be going there again.

We love TT. Service always friendly. It’s one of the only local«hole in the wall» places we have in MC. Food always yummy, authentic, made fresh.

Stopped by for a crispy taco platter, with cheesy potatoes with pico. I shared with someone, the tacos were seasoned well. I guess I expected more, I have had the Tornado burgers and they a very good and spicy not overly big. These were like, I hate to say like Jack in the Box. I haven’t had one of their tacos in years. I guess that sums it up, now the cheese potatoes were very good, did not try beans and rice.

This place hooks it up in terms of quantity. They really pack their tacos making them give you the biggest bang for your buck. Also they’re pretty liberal with their salsas.

So im finally writing a review… after 5+ years. Im always asked at work after surprising staff on a random Friday… where did you get the taco’s??? Fresh tortillas, eggs, bacon, chorizo, steak, potatoes.. Etc. Ok you get the point. Delicious and that red salsa is on point. Me n kiddos snuck over after a workout yesterday… i got the burrito stuffed wit egg, bacon, steak, chorizo and beans! Dont judge me…

This gets an automatic 5 stars because I intended to try it out with intentions to cheat on my vegan diet(shameful, I know), but I pulled up and saw a spicy tofu option! I was so excited. It felt like a sign. I got my tacos with Pico de gallo, jalapenos, and hot sauce. It was very flavorful and I ended up being very glad that their sign caught my eye. I’m likely to become a regular here.

Tornado Taco was my stop this morning before work, for some breakfast burritos. I had the two egg and sausage burritos. The tortillas were authentic, the eggs fluffy and just the right smattering of shredded cheese. The sausage was crumbly and good, although I like my sausage more on the extremely well-done to crisp side, the consistency and taste were good. No complaints. I was asked if I’d like salsa, either mild or hot and of course I chose hot. I received two small cups of verde salsa and it didn’t dissapoint in any respect. The guy at the window was quick and polite. All in all a great, quick breakfast choice and I’ll be back. This was my first trip to Tornado Taco as we’ve just moved to the area.

My order: 2 steak tacos w hot sauce. Im not going to repeat this place. It’s just a few blocks from me. I feel the # of stars overrate this place, or perhaps go w idea the steak tacos are ‘meh’. The meat was tough, and didn’t seem seasoned or marinated. Nothing different from what I could make at home, if I decided to assemble a taco without seasoning or marinating the meat. The unremarkable taste was taco remarkable. The taco could have been made in New England by New Englanders. I like the hot sauce. Serving size was fair.

Hola mis amigos… Tengo hambre. I stumbled upon this very quaint taco spot on foot — which is not a very popular mode of transport in these parts — with no prior knowledge of what I was getting myself into. It was only about 10:45am on a Friday and there was already a few cars in queue waiting to get there fix. I knew at that point it was a sign of tastes to come. I have a thing for fish tacos, and I can’t quite pinpoint why. Nonetheless, after a few minutes of waiting I got on the ride to flavortown. It was one thick, fried slab of fish dressed with tomato and onion slices and dang it was good. The meat was so juicy and the crunch was of incredible texture to contrast the soft taco. I seriously cannot wait until my next visit to give the breakfast burritos a go. From the words of Uncle Willie from the«Next Friday»: «PUTSOMEHOTSAUCEONMYBURRITOBEH-BEH!» –Bean

Breakfast taco’s are okay but the rest of the food is average at best. Seems like the buy the cheap meat.

Amazing breakfast tacos and burritos. Everything is super fresh and hot. I made it to lunch one time and got the chicken quesadillas the half order was huge and delicious along with the corn soft taco. You won’t be disappointed… unless you get there after 2 when they close.:(

The store itself was pretty quaint. Looked like it might be family owned. You order at a window and there’s a patio in the front and back that you can eat at. The back patio has a nice mini-waterfall scenery. There’s also a drive-thru option. I ordered the steak quesadilla, and I thought it was your average quesadilla. Not horrendous, not extraordinary — just average. I only ordered the«half» quesadilla, instead of the full sized, and I thought it was more than enough. The half was about $ 7, and I couldn’t finish it. Overall, I would stop by again at this place if I were to be in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this restaurant again.

OK nothing special to me had the bacon and eggs burrito everyone in the comments was raving about. Bacon was to crispy for my taste and I prefer my cheese to be more gooey idk kinda tastes like it was reheated to me which was really a let down because I payed extra for cheese.

These tacos are delish! Definitely a great breakfast taco if you’re on the go! They only accept cash which kinda sucks. The burritos are huge, I usually have a taco and my be has a burrito. They’re very filling and taste great.
