Extended Stay America

I checked in and the staff was friendly. Got to my room it smelled like urine and there was hair all over the counter tops and shower! I called and asked if housekeeping could come clean the shower and spray. I left for a baby shower and when I came back the room was still the same exact way when I left! There was also left over food from the previous stay! The shower also had tissue in the tub! Very very dirty!!! I stay in hotels all the time and this by far is the worst I have ever experienced!!!

Extended Stay has become my brand of choice because of facilities and staff like we found in Mobile.
The room was spacious and clean. We requested a non-​smoking, king accessible and that’s exactly what we got the first time. Rooms have a two-​burner stove, microwave, full-​sized refrigerator, dishes, and so on. The bed was comfortable and allowed for a good sleep. The a/​c unit was quiet and effective.
There were a couple of issues. Although equipped with a little coffee maker, there was no coffee. The person at the front desk seemed confused as to why providing multiple answers but no coffee. They do have coffee in the lobby in the mornings. There were a couple of other annoyances that, although simple, could have been avoided by attentive housekeeping. An effort was made to resolve them.
I was greeted by the GM upon checkout. She asked how things went and I told her. She actually listened, expressed concern and apologies, and offered to make it right. Therein is the difference between a 4 star (price considered) and a 5 star operation.

Not bad. We try to stay at places like this because they have a kitchen, so if we do bring food back to the room, it can be refridgerated and heated up again.
Once again, no toiletries other than soap are provided. They will give you extra soap and towels, no questions asked.
No overly friendly people at the front desk but whatever — I’m not sleeping
with them, am i?
Wish they would just give the wifi for free tho
