Hampton Inn and Suites

Needed a room somewhere for the evening. Called a couple of hotels but they seemed indifferent to my needs. When I called Hampton Inn n Suites Mobile Providence Park, I spoke with Todd. He arranged for Aaron to pick me up from the airport. My flight was late. Aaron waited for me. Very quick checking process. Everytime I am visiting Mobile, Al. This is where I would stay based on the excellent customer service I received from Aaron n Todd. I would give 5 stars if the price on a Tuesday was a little lower, but I would still be back, because you can’t put a price on customer service !

Hotel is super. Clean and really friendly staff! Pleasantly surprised with the hospitality! Really close to some great stores and restaurants too. Would stay again for sure.

We wanted to stay somewhere west of downtown and found this little gem online while traveling. It’s tucked away in a quiet, secluded area but there are great restaurants within walkuing distance. The staff was super-​friendly and helpfuland the rooms were large and comfortable. Would have given them 5 stars but the hot breakfast buffet was one of the worst I’ve ever seen (don’t bother getting up early for this one-​just have coffee in your room!).

I have stayed here several times and its a great place. I am a diamond member with Hilton so of course you get the normal perks. They had moonpies instead of the Tablerone chocolate usually listed for the snack for Diamond and Gold members. There are several diamond member parking spots up close to both doors.
The staff were very nice and polite. The room looked like normal clean Hampton Inn rooms. I saw the pool, but I didn’t see a hot tub which made me sad but then again maybe I just didn’t see it.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Rooms were nice, price was great, and the hotel bar was incredible. Seriously I don’t think I’ve had bar tenders this good at ANY bar. With the location and large covered loading area and parking lot this should be the only choice in the area! My only complaint is how far some of the rooms are from the elevators. They really should offer a service to have someone bring your bags to your room.

Odd that the other review (as of this writing) is also a Chicagoan — go figure! Anyway, I agree — this was a very nice hotel and a touch nicer than other Hampton’s I’ve stayed at. The staff was very friendly, the free shuttle saved me the need for a rental car or cabs, the room clean and well equipped and they keep the coffee hot and available all day long. And while I can’t be certain, I think the room was pretty well insulated noise-​wise — there were definitely people in an adjoining room but I all but couldn’t hear them at all.

Stayed in this hotel a couple weeks ago for business. I don’t know if its just cuz I’m not used to Southern Hospitality, but I was blown away by the friendly hotel staff of this Hampton Inn! They did everything they could to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
My room was a suite which included a super comfy king-​sized bed, a flat screen television, a lounging area with love seat, a microwave, refrigerator, and even a kitchen sink! lol
There is an outdoor pool (which I didn’t use) and a very small workout room with two treadmills and two elipticals. There is also a business center near the front desk.
Hot and cold continental breakfast with a nice large area in the front to sit and eat.
The topper to this great place is the shuttle service. The shuttle will take you anywhere in the city you wish to go within 4 miles of the hotel. Jackie was our driver a great deal of the trip and she was stupendously courteous and helpful.
The morning I was to leave, I needed to check into my flight before heading out. As I waited outside the business office for an open computer, a very kind employee asked if I wanted to go to the back office and use the computer there. WHAT!!! I couldn’t believe how kind that was. It was a small, unnecessary guesture but it made my day for him to go that extra step to help me. It was the icing on the cake of a wonderful stay.
I would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn!

A great clean and customer savvy place. I checked in (about 5:30 p.m.) Dec. 20^th (2010) for 2 nights. My reservations were ready. The agent, Jerramy (I believe) fulfilled all my requests and upgraded my room as I had been traveling a long time. What a pleaseure to have an agent who cares. This Hampton is great if you are playing RTJones Golf at Magnolia Groves or need close to airport (no airplane noise by the way) and was walkable to one of my fav restaurants «Bonefish Grill». A lot of great restaurants close by within easy driving distance. I was impressed.
