Hilton Garden Inn

Essentially identical to most other Hilton Garden Inns I’ve stayed at across the country. Clean and delivers on expectations.

Hands down the friendliest most helpful staff I have come across in over 10 years of 150+ nights/​year in hotels. Across the board from check-​in to house keeping to restaurant to management greetings and check ups, these folks were all outstanding! There seems to be an underlying purpose and joy in the way they do their jobs here. An incredibly warm environment and wonderful experience. Great, great job!

I have stayed in this hotel for years. The cleaning staff is congenial and polite. The rooms have always been clean and quiet. In the past, this hotel always had great service, but recently, the attitude of the people working at the front desk has changed. They were very unhelpful and unkind. There is no excuse for that kind of rudeness. We won’t be going back.

Feeling very giving this week as 5 stars are coming up in many places but this is now my favorite Hilton off Airport BLVD and 65 near I-​10. For years I’ve been staying at the Hampton– very pleased there too-​but that added perk of food and a bar makes the Garden Inn just that much better.
Very clean, great entrance and easy check in and lounge area. Coffee and cookies right up front and well decorated… looked almost new. Had a great room, clean, classic Hilton King bed to die for and a clean bathroom. Room got cold like I like it and very comfortable.
Rates were good as I throw out all my options– corporate rate/​AAA/​AARP and just off the freeway so easy off and on. It was next to a nasty Drury Inn (my opinion only) but very pleased with the staff, and the hotel overall. Highly recommend. Oh, the happy hour $ 1.75 bottled beer from 5 – 7 and the pool was being renovated and painted so if you stay here coming up to the next opening– you’ll like the new pool look. Business office for printing is right behind the front desk and a good gym as well. Really enjoyed a good nigh sleep here.

Strange bed — like sleeping on a hammock made out of rocks. Not comfortable. Other than that, the place is OK. A little hard to find — it’s on an interstate access road. No complimentary breakfast, which is weird.

This is a great hotel. I took a chance and got a room block for a wedding. Most of the out-​of-​town guests stayed there. I felt my reputation was on the line somewhat and these folks made me look GREAT! Rooms were super nice, gym was very nice, food was wonderful… the staff, including housekeeping, were very friendly, personable, and professional. I even felt a little «spoiled». It was just great. I’ll go back and recommend.

This hotel is fantastic. Great service, friendly staff and nice lobby restaurant. The workout room is not bad for this size hotel!

After getting in late for a cheer competition to a completely booked Mobile to complete disaster of a hotel we would not let our kids even sit on the beds because pictures were deceiving we were desperate to find another place to stay. This place just happened to have one room by chance and were so accommodating to very tired parents and children. The staff night and daytime went way above and beyond always speaking when they seen you, rooms were amazing, just all around amazing! Could not have asked for more! They truly made a nightmare a dream!!!

I love this place! Especially since we had just left a HORRIBLE hotel near it. The staff was super friendly and accommodating as soon as we arrived (We spoke to Hailey I believe). Immediately got us to our room — very clean, free wifi, numerous channels.
The hotel has a nice pool outside (also very clean), fitness room (very nice for a hotel — very clean), the Garden grille was nice too and offers a complimentary continental breakfast. You will have to pay 10.95 if you want their hot stuff.
When staff heard about my experience at another hotel, they each greeted me (including the GM) and apologized for the other hotel which they didn’t even need to. The reason I keep saying clean is because the hotel we had just left, had bed bugs in the bed. This is ny very first review on Unilocal,and had to write it because the place really made me feel welcomed. Even offered me a glass of wine after my experience! ! The morning staff was awesome!

My husband just had his first chance to sleep in a nice bed, since he joined the military. We decided to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arriving, we asked if military discount was offered, and the lady at the counter said it was. She ended up not being able to give it to us. This made me a little upset. I wanted to see what could be done, before I gave a review and I just got off of the phone with the lady. She went back and gave us back the $ 89 we would have saved if she would have originally given us a military discount. She was extremely pleasant and nice. I would love to book with them again, because I feel that it was a nice stay and if anything ever went wrong, that we would still get our money’s worth. The rooms are very clean, and all of the staff is pleasant. Just make sure your room has a ‘do not disturb’ sign in it!

Great property, location is a little tough in the morming rush hour, getting off the service road. Front desk staff (Ayana?) is wonderful. The girls in the café (Whitney and Ashley) are wonderful, and made the stay very enjoyable.

My experience here was excellent. The lady at the front desk was super nice, funny, and helpful. We had arrived a couple hours before check-​in and she didn’t give us a hard time at all. She checked to make sure our room was ready, it was, so she let us check in early.
Our room was clean. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Our room was everything I expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Very reliably good. The breakfast was typical continental breakfast. They even have a build your own omelette bar for like $ 10 I think. Not bad.
Very quiet, clean, and relaxing. I would stay again if I’m ever in the area.
