Hooters

Great place! Far better than the one we went to a few times in Gulfport. It’s always busy here so I don’t understand why they don’t have more stars! The service is great both at the bar and on the floor. Waitresses are friendly and fast. The fried pickle appetizer is good. Crispy and with a good breading. The sauce is so yummy I use it for my fries too. Last time we went I had the burger. It was perfectly cooked and came out quickly and super hot. Fries were excellent. Husband had the wings that are finished off on the grill. Now he asks for those whenever we go anywhere else and wings are on the menu. Previously, we both ordered salads. The shrimp one is awesome. Blackened shrimp is mmmmm. Very flavorful. I even ordered a side of blackened shrimp since we stayed to watch the game. The buffalo chicken salad was really good too. Restaurant is clean every time we go. This is definitely our go to place when we’re in Mobile.

Came in here despite all the bad reviews. I was waited on right away. The food came out fast despite a mostly full restaurant.
Now for the tip since none of the other reviewers said anything. There are two Ambers — one white and one black. Both are good looking and very good servers.
White Amber is fricken gorgeous. She is running all over the place and has an incredible body.
So if you go ask for Amber. Either one will result in good service and hotness.

The chicken didn’t taste right or feel right. Sent back. They were really nice, but we both left wishing we’d gone somewhere else instead.

The WANGs were good. Maybe it’s me, but both the blue cheese and ranch dipping sauces were missing something. Service was a little slow but it was wing day… otherwise, great experience.

This is a pretty good restaurant. You can get you a hamburger. You can get you some wangs. Don’t nobody care. I got me some wangs that was the flavor of honey and some other wangs that tasted like chickens. And a cokecola. It was pretty good.
The waitresses is all real friendly but can’t none of em hear too good so they have to get real close to you when you pick out your food that you want. Her face was right where my face was so I said «wangs!!’ real loud. She said ok. Some of the waitresses is real hungry too so they sit at the table with you but don’t none of em eat. There was a lot of things that didn’t make no sense about this place but it was pretty good.

Been to a lot of Hooters all over the country. This may be my least liked. Servers are not friendly and the place has a funky (not good) smell. I hate that. Staff needs to be trained.

Food is mediocre at best. Bar smells really bad, had to move before i could even begin to consume first beer. Tvs are better than average good selection for March Madness. Cute girls, nice outside seating. Wont be a repeat but if already enjoying many of the spirits of mobile it a good last stop pre-​cab.

I ‘ve been an Intl. Hooters customer and supporter for many years and I have never, ever, ever, ever walked out of a Hooters restaurant for any reason. I just did the unthinkable, I walked out of the Hooters in Mobile, Al. on Airpot Rd. The upmost worst service I have ever experienced at a Hooters; EVER !
Don’t waste your time in Mobile Al. on the Hooters on Airport Rd, go to an oyster bar or a Bbq joint instead.

Great service. The food is what it is… so is the place.

Quite possibly the worst Hooters we’ve ever been to. We came here after a South Alabama football game about a year ago and it’s taken me this long to digest the experience. The place was roughly half full and was starting to empty out as the fans who watched the game on TV here were filing out. We sat for 15 minutes without a server coming by to even ask for drinks.
The server was the highlight of the night and likely one of the prettiest at any Hooters restaurant. She told us the story of how she had a kid with a northern boy and was working at Hooters for the time being. Adorable, stunning and a sweetheart. One of America’s most charming women with a smile that could win over anyone. I wish we came here for her, but we craved a bite and most other places were closed.
She was the only good thing that transpired all night. We ordered and she returned within minutes (she said it wasn’t her table, but took it because the girl who’s section is was — was too busy making out and flirting with the table behind us). Upon return, she brought two plates for our wings. I grabbed one and gave the other to my cousin. The bottom one was covered in wing sauce. Someone didn’t wash it and put it back in the clean pile. At this point, we were ready to leave, but being hungry, we stayed.
She came back again, with the wrong wings, which were cold. Again, she was embarrassed and went back to the kitchen. When our burgers arrived, eat was the wrong burger and the fries were cold. When I say cold, I mean they tasted like someone threw them away and hour ago, took them out of trash and put them on our plate.
They remade the burgers and we waited another 15 minutes for them. This time they came out right, but not after a comedy of errors and another batch of bad fries. Unfortunately, this was our experience here. No leadership. No management. One friendly, beautiful waitress who wanted to make things good, but mentioned the cooks could care less about doing their job and she was more than frustrated. Hopefully, you won’t have this experience, too.

I prefer hooters wings because they are breaded. This hooters is good, but not the best one I have been to.

Always have a good time, and food comes out really fast at Airport Blvd location, friendly staff, couldn’t ask for much more, besides being pricey, buy hey it’s Hooters you pay for what you get! The Tator tots w/​cheese etc, are awesome! Go have some fun!

I’m not crazy about Hooters as a chain. I’ve been to my share of Hooters around the country, and this one is a little below par. I’d give it two stars, but I have to take into consideration the geographic location. The prices are outrageous (as usual for Hooters), so you either have to spend through the nose to get what you want (Sam Adams), or settle on the specials (Miller Light) so that you don’t go broke. Ten wings and a pitcher of Summer ale cost about $ 30. The wings were pretty greesy to boot, not at all crispy. There are plenty of other places that make better wings. I wouldn’t go here if that’s all I really wanted. The girls at this one are cute enough, and they are plenty good enough at their jobs, never in want of service. There are plenty of TV screens and a nice outdoor area in front of the place. So it’s not a bad place to go after work (basically the only reason I go here).
If going to Hooters is your thing, then you’re going to get what you expect.

I have been eatign at Hooters since 1983 in Clearwater. I always love thier food. The service at this location can vary at times. The service seems to be better at night time than during the day my guess being that the tips are better during the night. If you plan on going during a gametime or UFC make sure you get there early.

Man, such poor reviews. My service was great. The hostess talked to me the whole time. My server was attentive. Other waitress were even friendly who didn’t wait on me and even were playing around with me. Makes me wonder what all these other guys are doing or not doing? I’d start with making sure you shower, brush your teeth, and do a few sit ups here and there. Retake. The wings sucked IMO though.

Oh, come on. It’s not Ruth’s Chris. It’s not fresh seafood. It’s not a «gentlemen’s club». But it’s not Denny’s either. It’s Hooters. Whatever city you’re in, you know what you’re getting. Nothing more, nothing less. Wings, burgers, shrimp, slightly bored waitresses in cheesy, skimpy outfits. Embrace it for what it is, and don’t act surprised for what it’s not!

Food was average and the service was slow. Additionaly, hooters has lowered their hiring standards.

Other than the pretty girls who work there I don’t see what all the hype is about Hooters! The wings are so-​so but the rest of the food flat out sucks!!!

Food was good but the girls just don’t seem to like their job. They enjoy having fun with each other but hardly spend time with the customers. One of the more disappointing Hooters I been to.

I don’t waste my time writing negative reviews, and Hooters does have good wings. The servers seemed very nice to us, but I was shocked at how they treated the adjoining table of all girls trying to watch the game. Not offering to take or deliver drink orders.
I started ordering my neighbor’s drinks after halftime, and we too became treated with open and unashamed hostility, and at one point had 45 minute turnaround on drinks.
Chicken wings, (to use the southern turn of phrase) «ain’t that hard folks». There are plenty of other places for sports and wings. I was revolted by the way we were all treated.
