This is the best Italian place I have ever been to outside of an Italian community. Everything is made in house and the servers are more than happy to explain the menu and show you the pasta to help you decide. I have had 4 – 5 different combos and they are all great. You can’t go wrong!

Inexpensive, but not good. $ 8 for house chadonnay and it is not good. Pasta is fresh, but sauces are not good. Service was okay, but food is not.

Decided to choose this restaurant for lunch due to the reviews given… I must say I was TOTALLY disappointed. Ordered the fettuccine Alfredo(add chicken) and the spinach ravioli with 2 Caesar salads. The ravioli was not fully cooked and the fettuccine did not look appealing to the eye and the salads looked as if they threw it together… Meal came out to $ 45.00FORLUNCH! Did not paying that amount if it was actually worth the money. Now I’m sitting here with $ 45.00 wasted, time wasted and heartburn. Will NOT be returning.

Great place for lunch. Nice wine selection, as one would expect at an Italian spot. It is in a strip mall as other have pointed out, but don’t be deceived by that or it’s chain status. This is a must try, I had the Tuscan Stew and it was fabulous paired with the house pinô noir. Affordable and delicious!

I am happy Mirko is here. There are not a lot of places to get Italian in Mobile. I love that most of their items are made in-house. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have had dishes that I really disliked, but overall it is a good dining experience. I recommend the carpaccio as an appetizer. It’s wonderful.

I liked the choices available, especially the fact that they had a whole grain pasta option. Portions were reasonable and prices pretty fair. The ambience is also very nice. Our server seemed a little insecure. She did a fine job, but didn’t really give a strong explanation/presentation as to all the options. I will try them again.

I love it here but I can’t come as often because it’s far from where I am. Today I took my mom there. We love pasta! & ya can’t forget their bread/roll hot out the oven soft inside and crisp outside. Love it. Great as my first time there! Our server was Haley. Sweet as can be! Definitely need to stop by if you’re in town.

One of the best pasta places in Mobile. Mirko Pasta opened a little bit of three years ago. Every time I go, I try something new. This time it was the Apple sage and sausage in Alfredo sauce, last time it was spinach and riccatao in salsiccia. Yep both ravioli. I’m working my way through the menu. It has changed a little but the calamari and dining experience are to die for. Wanna little sweet? The tiramisu is heaven on the tongue. I will be visiting again soon!

Visiting from out of town, and found this on Unilocal.Definitely a 4 – 5 star place. Food and service were excellent. Very fresh. Waitress told us pasta is hand made and it certainly shows. Definitely recommend for great pasta place. Amazingly priced for the quality.

Wow! This was a five star in every category! Service: Our server was a very kind young woman who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Quick to explain any menu items you didn’t recognize with out making you not feel like a unilingual moron. Cleanliness: The restaurant was immaculately clean not a spot on the floor from what I could see. Food: The authentic build-your-own pasta set up was perfect. I had the Spinach Alfredo the Funghi Sauce and Sausage and it was perfect. My date had the Ricotta Cheese and Spinach Ravoli Salsa rosa and Chicken. The pasta was fresh as was the sauce. We ended with a cappuccino and the best Tiramisu I have ever had! If you love pasta, italian food or just good eats please do yourself a favor and go to Mirkos!

This is one of my favorite places to have a nice dinner in Mobile. Their food and service are consistent and always delicious! They use to have weekly specials where you get a meal and a drink for $ 7ish. They don’t have that anymore, but I’m hoping they will bring it back! I’ve never had a bad experience. The manager is very nice, she often walks around and checks on people during their meal. Check this place out!

One of the nicest Italian places I have been to in Mobile. It is in a strip mall and doesn’t look like much on the outside but very comfortable inside and they have a patio also. I can’t give them a 5 star because I asked if the allow pets on the patio and they do not. Well behaved dogs are not a problem on a patio and it’s just it necessary to not allow the so this is a drawback for us. I love how they have pasta examples to where you can see the difference between fettuccine, linguini, ziti, etc. the server was quite attentive and helpful except… Honest mistake — I asked for a club soda and he brought me water. I think he was confused so we explained and then he «got» it and brought out a club soda. I hate that it’s a chain but you really don’t get that feel inside. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I picked Mirko Pasta because it was close by and I’m glad that I ordered from here! I ordered the gluten-free capellini with sausage alfredo and my friend wanted dessert, so she got the tiramisu(which I had a small bite of). The pasta was good! The sauce was nice and creamy. My friend said that her tiramisu was the best she has had in a long time. With my small bite, I agree. You can smell the coffee from the dessert and her slice was a very generous slice! My friend was sad that she didnt have an espresso to go with her slice of tiramisu but maybe next time!

Mirko is a lovely little Italian restaurant with a good bit of flavor. It’s location is a bit awkward to get to at times(especially during traffic hours) but it is definitely worth it. The restaurant is busy most nights, but get there early if it is a Monday. Their bottle for the price of a glass is a big deal and is only on Monday nights. Food wise, if you like pasta, no one in town will beat it. They home make most of their pastas. Pairing the right pasta and sauce can be tricky, but the server will help you if you ask, and will thoroughly go over the pastas if you have questions. The deserts are also quite exceptional. Definitely go for the Tiermisu! I don’t advice getting a salad by any means. They are bland and expensive, and there are many other side dishes and appetizers to be had Obviously they have a decent wine selection. But they also have a few good things on tap throughout the year. I’m unsure of cocktail quality. Service is up and down. I have only had one server astound me there, and my table has been ignored for a little while a couple times now. It is never below par… just not really high above it. Also, I have received warm/cold food twice. The wait time for food is a tad long so don’t go if you are in a hurry. But it really is better to enjoy pasta when you have the time to anyways. And I wouldn’t expect something fantastic to be made immediately. Overall I think you will enjoy yourself here. Very quaint and delicious.

Ok let me go on record to say if you have not stopped by this gem, you are missing out! I was a first time customer and Courtney our waitperson was awesome. She guided us thru the menu with the knowledge of the pastas. Loved the meal! The atmosphere and staff were great!

Great place for pasta. Salad was weak but I forgot about it by desert time… The chocolate gelato was good but not like in Europe… Good place overall.

Omg omg! Where have I been!!! This quaint little Italian restaurant is delicious!!! Homemade pasta all the around! Wine list for days! I had the basil ravioli! Oh my goodness! It was divine! The ravioli was fresh and spinach was fresh! It was like they made it especially for me! It’s not thick like other restaurants or grocery store type raviolis. It’s bursting with flavor!!! The lunch deals were pretty decent! The tiramisu was amazing! Made in house daily and not overly sweet! It was creamy and melted in my mouth! Definitely, will be back soo ’

I almost didn’t try Mirko after learning that it’s a chain restaurant. I’m go glad I did because I’ve been back several times and have experienced great food and great service every time. I’ve had the chicken parm, ravioli with sausage, and the lasagne, and you can’t go wrong with any of it. For dessert, I’m hooked on the pistachio gelato and little shortbread cookies. I haven’t ordered an appetizer because we like the complimentary rolls and bean dip they bring out after you’re seated. It’s all very reasonably priced with entrees ranging from about $ 10-$ 15. The place is in a strip mall, but they do have a nice little«patio». It’s just a room with walls and a ceiling that happens to have a huge door they can raise, and I really enjoy sitting there. I would definitely recommend giving Mirko a try. I’m sure thankful that I did.

Mirko Pasta is a great restaurant. We have eaten here several times, but on this visit I ordered the Caesar salad and pollo marsala. I really liked the Caesar salad, they give whole romaine leaves with shaved Parmesan cheese with croutons. The chicken Marsala was good, it was also served with potatoes, mushrooms, and spinach. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu, which I highly recommend. Very good it’s probably the best I have ever had! The wait staff is very attentive, very deserving of a 20% or more tip. The bread with white bean dip was a nice touch. My wife and I will definitely dine here again. PS: I fixed the location of this restaurant, so now you can check in without getting the alert saying your too far away to check in.
