Red or White Wine & Gourmet Center

Love this spot! Not a place I would usually check out because I’m not a huge wine drinker, but I decided to go for the UYE for a girls night. So happy I did!
First the atmosphere is very nice. Intimate but relaxed and casual at the same time. Perfect for girls night, a date night, a nice snack/​treat, take your mom or sister for lunch… endless reasons why you could frequent this cool place ;) Even on Saturday night at 7PM our girls had no trouble getting a table with prompt service.
I can’t review the wine selection because I was unable to partake this time. For me it was a coke type of night and my server was happy to serve it in a wine glass so I wouldn’t feel out of place :)
Now the good part… the food! So delicious! We had two cheese boards, both with a variety of meats, cheese, breads, candied nuts, warm olives (delightfully delicious!), and an Italian while bean dish. It was all scrumptious but what really won over my taste buds was the Cherve (goat cheese) that is made in Alabama. That slathered on fresh bread, with the homemade preserves on top… DYNAMITE ! I ate so much of that and could’ve kept going. Not going to lie, when our server came to clear our table I asked her if I could lick the cheese knife first. No shame! I didn’t want that delectable Cherve and preserves to go to waste!
Not only is this a cute tapas bar, but the other side is a nice variety of wines that you can purchase. I forgot to take a pic.
I’ll definitely be back to this place and look forward to more girls nights here! If you stop in you HAVE to try the Cherve !

This is my absolute favorite place in all of Mobile right now! The margarita pizza is a MUST and their wine selection is the best in town. Fresh food and amazing wine selection makes this a must visit when you are in town. The ambience is so fun and relaxing. I love the patio and sitting out there with my hubs. It is wonderfully manicured and the flowers are gorgeous. The wine store has something for every budget and I always leave feeling like I got my moneys worth. I am headed there tonight after work to grab drinks with a coworker, can’t wait!

My new co-​worker suggested the office girls get together for a drink after work and this is the spot she chose. I was glad because I’ve been wanting to try it.
I arrived fashionably late (surprise!) and they had already made their way halfway through a cheese board. It had Gouda, blue cheese, Brie and a nice berry jam, sharp cheddar and delicious slices of fresh baked bread. I ordered my glass of wine and an antipasto board. It came with warm olives (olives are 100x better when heated), Italian white beans, a couple of cheeses and meats that I picked, and more of that fresh baked bread. My other coworker ordered dates wrapped in bacon for our «dessert». It was all amazing! I didn’t try the pizza, but I did see a couple brought out to other tables and they looked delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try that! It’s probably going to happen sooner rather than later because I seriously can’t stop thinking about the antipasto. It was so good!
For 2 glasses of Rose and the antipasto board, I paid about $ 32, plus tip.
We sat on the patio surrounded by beautiful and fragrant plants. I noticed a few people brought their pets on the patio, which I love. It may have been a little too warm for some folks out there, but as a Southern girl, I love the sunshine and heat! The tables do have umbrellas so you’re not directly in the sun.

I went there for dinner recently and loved it. The atmosphere is great. They have a huge wine selection and perhaps most importantly, they have the best pizza in Mobile (which is not saying a lot I know) but it was truly delicious. The place is set up very nicely. The only thing I have to say that is negative is that it was a little too loud for my taste. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

It is a really cool setting with great pizza, and the brisket was amazing. You walk in and find your bottle of wine to start; then go and have a few slices of the best pizza in Mobile. I highly recommend this place.

Tremendous wine selection at very good prices! There are so many hard-​to-​find bottles and plenty of wines by the glass.

This is a fantastic place for an adult night out. It’s a refreshing change of pace from your normal Mobile dining experience. All the dishes are prepared with care and the wine selection is the best in town. The staff is more than willing to help you choose food and drinks. I’d definitely recommend Red or White to groups on business or people who want to have conversation — though it can get loud thanks to all that delicious wine.

Enjoyed the atmosphere! It was my first time there and he manager was very helpful in helping me decide on a sweet red wine! And the pizza was great as well!

Went here about a week ago. This is a great place to hang out with a couple friends and get some good food and wine! When you walk in there is a wine store where you can buy wine to take home or over your table. If you don’t want to spend too much on wine there are two different tables, one composed of red wine and the other white. All the bottles on these tables are 10 dollars. However there is a 5 dollar corking fee. The food is pretty great too. Me and another shared the bruschetta, which was very filling and one of their pizzas. The ingredients seemed fresh delicious! The menu is small and mainly consists of pizza, but has a few other dishes. The atmosphere was my favorite thing about this place. It was very laid back. It felt like a place where you were comfortable sitting and talking with friends for awhile, and you never felt rushed to leave.

Fantastic wine selection (it is actually a wine shop!), $ 5.00 corking fee and the pizza is spectacular! Wood fired pizza oven! Great menu with appetizers and pizza and many other offerings. Several different places to sit for some privacy or sit outside. Great staff. Nice to wander through the sine store to pick your next bottle to try.

LOVE this wine shop/​wine bar in Midtown Mobile! Outstanding collections of carefully selected wines. They carry something for everybody, from excellent champagne to everyday $ 10~20 range bottles. This locally-​owned shop clearly cares about great customer experience. Staff and owner Mike are happy to help you find a perfect bottle or introduce you to something new and exciting. I find them friendly and helpful each time I go. The wine bar/​restaurant side is also charming. We have tried a variety of small plates with several different wines served by the glass; they were all tasty and enjoyable. This place is as good as it gets in Mobile.
