Red Roof Inns

If I could give a zero star rating I would. This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever been at. There was not one good thing about this hotel. There was a door missing at the entrance, the breakfast area was closed for remodeling. In the room the sheets were stained with holes, shower curtain stained with mildew. The fort pushed open, missing a peep hole. But was replaced with toilet paper. Water stains on the ceiling. Walked in, turned around and walked out. We choose to drive an additional 12 hours on our trip, at midnight after driving 20 hours already. If that doesn’t say enough than idk what would. Do not stay here.

I guess some changes have been made. I think it is a decent hotel for the price. My only complaint is that the smoking rooms smell like a smoking room, but I am a smoker so… The girl at the front desk was very nice, she actually let me view the room before we checked in. So if you’ve given this place a bad review before, you might want to try again.

Please. For the love of all that is clean and good, do not stay at this place! Just driving by this place makes you want to take a hot shower. With bleach. I’m pretty sure they have drug dealer conventions in the parking lot. So, unless you’re into that, please stay somewhere else. Otherwise the roaches may finally start their revolution and over throw the management. Do you really want to be in the middle of that? I think not.

This had to be the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon walking into our room we found a syringe, a box of cigarettes, a package of black and milds and Chinese food in our dresser. Despite being a non smoking room the room smelled of mildew and smoke. When we called the front desk to voice our concern we were simply told they would make a note. I understand the hotel is under renovation but I expect the same level of cleanliness in every room. We typically do not allow our dog to sleep on the bed with us but here we allowed it. We were so worried she would find something she shouldn’t have. This may be a pet friendly hotel but it is not pet (or people) safe!

Do not waste your money here, this place need to be torn down, creepy, doors chewed up, carpet smelly, cheap breathing refrigerator. Yuk is s good description.

This is a follow up to my initial review. The only reason why the initial review received 2 stars was because of the free wifi. Even though now my current 1 star will not count, I have to say that I am downgrading because of the numerous cockroaches found roaming around in the bathroom and the waking up to new bed bug bites on my face.
This place is extremely filthy and it appears some strange activity happens during the night. Like weird people just standing around in the middle of the parking lot on their cell phones, no where near a hotel room. I wonder if all Red Roof Inns are like this? I’ve read reviews on the Coca Cola location and they seem just as bad. Just stay away from here. Third strike on my third different hotel on my third stay in Mobile to visit family. Next year, I’m shelling out $ 100+ a night just to stay somewhere clean, cockroach free and questionable activity free.
