Great coffee and great food! Location isn’t the best but everything else is worth it.

Surprisingly cute organic/fair trade coffee shop in a strip mall. Funny how great cafes can be found in unlikely places.

We love this place. It was so refreshing to find a coffee shop that carries organic and healthy items, so when we found RedBar we were so happy. The baristas know us and our orders, the coffee is excellent(both the specialty drinks and the beans, we buy both) and the food is awesome. We love the organic grass fed burgers, and breakfast sandwiches, and on occasion we buy meat from their freezer section to use at home. It may take a little longer and cost a little more than Starbucks, but for someone who knows coffee and cares about healthy options it’s totally worth it. We are eternally grateful for this coffee shop and consider the staff to be good friends!

Happy to see a place like this in Mobile! Their menu offers many coffee, espresso beverage and food items to choose from. What distinguishes Redbar from all the other coffee shops in town is their focus on high quality ingredients that appeal to those of us that appreciate healthier options. My espresso and iced coffee was pretty darn tasty. The atmosphere is modern/urban and actually a bit cold for my personal preference, but the store is clean and staff friendly. It appears as though they also serve alcohol but we did not partake. Overall the place is fantastic and I’d recommend it to anyone. We would frequent Redbar if we lived closer.

We are coffee snobs so discovering Redbar, so awesome! The staff there are all friendly and very helpful. Not too pricey compared to other places but definitely has the value and taste. I will pay more for excellence any day. Sometimes I will crave for the drinks Saturday morning before work but they are closed. Other than that, repeat customer all the way.

This was a great idea/concept for a coffee shop for those who actually care about their health! The peanut butter smoothie is delicious and perfect for right after a workout while the caramel breve is great for when you really want something delicious with some caffeine. The staff is fantastic… the young gentleman(Eric?) went above and beyond to help my husband and I find the perfect food and drink! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have been there a few times to pick up coffee for my coworkers and myself. They make a pretty good French press. However, it takes forever even to order a simple cup of coffee, and they don’t have sugar there. They will offer you agave nectar or honey or other ridiculous things that nobody wants to put in coffee, but they do not carry sugar! Ridiculous. They have a small selection of trendy health type foods, and that is sort of their angle, healthy, organic, etc., I get it. But it’s a coffee shop! Have sugar! They also serve a few healthy type simple food dishes, which is another one of the things I don’t like about it; it smells more like some strange food they are cooking than coffee when you walk in. As much as I like to support local businesses, when I want coffee, I’ll drive the extra mile to Starbucks in this case.

Seems to cost about 10 to 15 per cent more than the other places, but take it from a born miser, it it certainly worth it. Definately a better tasting product… if you’re into coffee. My friend is more of a Maxwell House man, and so found the flavor a bit strong; I find it delicious. Plus, if you like your java to actually wake you up, their espresso is what you’re looking for. Effective and tasty.

Absolutely amazing flavor coffee and great friendly service. Yes it does cost most then a regular coffee shop, but come on people it’s ALL organic HIGH quality coffee, milk etc. they even use agave on their syrups. Absolutely wish there was one coffee shop like this in my town. Pumpkin late made with real pumpkin and agave syrup? Yes please! A must go coffee shop!

Our trips here have been great. The Cubano is my all time favorite. All the staff are such a delight to deal with. Unlike, carpe diem, where I always feel shunned and slighted. Just hate that I moved. LOVEYOUGUYS!

I love this Mobile gem, when I break my budget and buy coffee out I make every effort to get it from Redbar. I love the specials and the quality of the coffee. Pumpkin spice is my favorite. MMM!

I like Redbar because they use the best, local-ish organic milk, and you can tell they really care about sourcing great products. They are one of the only places around where you can buy organic milk by the gallon that is not homogenized and is minimally pasteurized. They get two stars for the awesome milk, and another star for being here in WeMo, an organic wilderness. These stars are very generous. 1. I got a latte, and it was satisfactory, fine. I would go back. 2. I thought I was overcharged by several dollars and the worker said the manager would check and call me back. Fine. But I never got a call. Next time I was in, same thing, no call. Forget it, not worth it. 3. The workers are so sullen! Why so unfriendly? They give you a «yes ma’am» or more like a hurried«ys’m» but look like you just ruined their hour-long train of non-thought. Smile a little! I’ll be back, I just can’t stay away… Really hoping this place doesn’t go under.
