Love this place. Had the privilege of working here for several years. My favorite is the hummus wrap and a white chocolate caffeine bomb. I’m not able to get by there as often anymore. But I love it!

Satori is a wonderful quaint coffee shop. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and always has something going on. If you live in West Mobile or go to a university near by this should be your go to coffee place. The coffee is great though I wouldn’t expect to get some complicated luxurious item from them. But they are definitely better than any star bucks I have gone to. More importantly, they have alcohol. So you can get that much craved Irish coffee and not just with some cheap bailey’s. They’ve got you covered with some Jameson. Isn’t a full bar but they have some great things to add to the coffee. As for food it is good. They do small sandwiches, deserts, and etc. It isn’t some secretly awesome restaurant though. It’s convenient and good. But I wouldn’t classify bit as gourmet sandwich shop. What makes Satori a 5, and a must go to coffee shop in Mobile is its atmosphere and its people. The staff is always phenomenal. It doesn’t change from day to night. Each one has their specialty and will make you feel at home. The people that go to Satori also make up a great atmosphere. Although it is mostly college students, the most interesting people come to Satori. Not to mention the layout of the shop itself is super cozy. Btw if you are looking for something to do at night, Satori hosts all sorts of things. They are well known for their open mic night on Thursdays. Stop by and enjoy. Ps. If you like sweet coffee drinks and are over 21 try the Chai Frangelica or the Tipsy Turtle. I claim the invention of the chai frangelica ;)

Great coffee house! Some folks commented about it being musty — I don’t get that vibe at all. It’s basically an old house converted into a quirky coffee shop… It’s not exactly the type of place you’re going to see pallet furniture and rusted metal signs, a la Pinterest. Pros: Tons of room, great comfortable seating, wonderful art from local artists, lots of wall outlets for charging your devices, fantastic lattes and chai, and good food(from what I’ve had — the Thai Salad and Hummus Wrap)! The only con is that sometimes the employees are kinda unemotional and robotic… Like I feel just need to order my coffee and go. But I don’t know your lives so y’all just do your thing and keep being awesome.

Don’t know where that one guy went for coffee, but it wasn’t Satori. Trolling perhaps? Likely since he mentioned the Pretentious Coffeehouse. Perhaps he’s just a BP coffee aficionado. Regardless, not only is Satori coffee fine, but their food is simplistically divine. I have run restaurants; I have cooked for(too) many years. To balance flavors is something not easily done. Satori does it well. Breakfast burrito is wonderful; Thai salad is amazingly done. I’ve had nothing done poorly. It’s a slice of bohemia, a bit of culture with some coffee. And you can even get it to go. Not much better out there, in my humble opinion.

Absolutely the best coffee in Mobile and they also have a small but good collection of wine, beer, and liquor. I have never been when I was less than completely satisfied. They have a wonderful atmosphere and on Thursday a fantastic open mic night featuring local musicians, spoken word artists, and comedians.

You can do so much better in Mobile. When you walk in, the place smells musty like it needs to be cleaned. The coffee is sub-par – I can easily make better espresso at home. The atmosphere matches the smell, and at every other coffee shop in Mobile you can get fresh coffee that was roasted on site the day before. Do your self a favor and go down the street to Carpe Diem or go to Serda’s.

Best coffee in Mobile, awesome wraps, and great service. The environment is quirky which makes the experience even better. If you have a chance, try the Black Bean Wrap or the Hippie Hummus Wrap because they are AMAZING.

Best coffee house in Mobile. An interesting eclectic collection of customers who visit to unwind and enjoy the great food and drink. I’ve pretty much had everything on their menu from wraps, bagels, pastries and can tell you that it’s all good. The coffee drinks alone justify a visit. The owner and staff are friendly and provide great service. It’s one of those places that just feels right, if you know what I mean.

Love Love love this place. It’s relaxing. It’s one of those coffee shops you see on TV and wished we had one here, haha. BUT their coffee are kinda expensive for the size. A large is around $ 4.00. Yes that’s not bad, but that large cup is not large at all. It’s like a medium size of a Starbuck’s cup. But other than that, this place is very homey and rejuvenating!

I came here to have lunch with a past teacher from high school, and I like how the place is set up. It’s got tons of seating, and even some seats outside. The tables and chairs are all wood, and the shop has a nice, homey feel to it. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken, and it was decent. The coffee I ordered was better than the salad, but that’s not a minus for the salad – just a plus for the coffee. All in all, you’ll get a solid experience here seeing as how the service was pretty food as well, and the staff seemed friendly enough. I would definitely come back here any time when I’m in town.

My Mom was in from out of town, and we had lunch at the Brick Pit next store. Afterwards, we stopped in for a cup of coffee. From the outside this place looks crazy small, but it is actually big inside. There are lots of tables to sit down, and in the back there is a big open room with lots of couches to lounge and do work in. I LOVED this place. The coffee was great and a great place to go do homework if your a student.

Poured a decent macchiato, tried the Portabello & Roasted Red Pepper Wrap and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, both were really tastey, sorta pricey but it’s worth it, chill place but usually full of campus kids, all ages, everyone looks a little uppitty, all in all a nice place to hit up for lunch every now & then

I really enjoy coming here. They always make my drinks correctly and they are right next door to The Brick Pit bbq place. They also serve coffee drinks with alcohol in them. The place is cozy, indoor and outdoor seating is available, there are all kinds of ppl that come here which I enjoy.

Great place to unwind and to meet some new people. Age is not a factor there — everyone welcomes everyone else.

I liked that fact that is was close to my work. And it a neat meeting place for friends during the day. They have a good selection of items plus they serve low content alcohol for irish coffees and such. However, the coffee is not worth the price. I always have to remember myself it is a college coffee house so the sofas will have a funk and the chairs will be wobbly. But overall a good place for causal café lunch

I love Satori. The owner is an awesome sweet guy. He intended for it to be a music store, but had to start selling coffee when mp3’s and corporate stores moved into the area 15 years ago. I LOVE the music, art, and other acts that come through here. The coffee is awesome. The lunch is very tasty, though maybe too pricey. Also, they have liquor and beer!

Once again we had the feeling that we might not be in Mobile anymore. Lots of tables and couches make this a great place to study or play Scrabble(which we did and I lost). We had ourselves a perfect weekend lunch. They had a great selection of smoothies, sandwiches, and wraps(a tad over priced for the area, but they were good) My husband did feel the same about leaving and knowing he’d be hungry later.

Has terrific coffee; the best frappuccinos ever. However, service is mediocre most of the time except for this one older guy with brown hair– he was the only person that left a positive and memorable impression. Most of the other people seemed to not care or were forgettable. However, I will not forget this one guy: he’s very short with dark hair and tends to come off a bit rude. Maybe that’s just how he comes off and he may be a genuinely nice guy but I remember the shop closes around 9 and at 8:30, he started shutting off the lights while some of my friends were STILLINSIDE to hint at us to leave. Many other times he is just rude and apathetic– the last I have seen of this guy was about a year ½ or so ago. Also, I think Satori doesn’t seem to take their business very seriously sometimes; they will close at random times of the year. This has happened to me twice where I would bring at least five of my friends to hang out there and we ended up going to their competitor down the road. Is their coffee good? The best and most unique in the Mobile to Pensacola area. The atmosphere is funky and cool. I would only recommend they hire a business consultant to keep their market.
