I received a gift certificate here for a massage. The massage was not relaxing as the masseuse talked the entire time. I eventually asked her if she could just do the massage as I was not interested in talking. After she was done, I checked out. I expressed my displeasure with the lady checking me out. The masseuse had the nerve to come out and say that I needed to learn to relax in order for the massage to work. Ummm… maybe not talking and distracting me might help. Bottom line: avoid this place.

I purchased my wife a gift certificate from Silhouettes and it will be the last time I ever buy anything else from these people! Here’s why: After using the gift certificate my wife was told by the lady who checked her out that she had an additional $ 10 on the gift certificate to which she was going to use at a later date. Then about a week later my wife received a call from someone at Silhouettes informing her that my wife owed an additional $ 10 because they(at Silhouettes) had erroneously rang up the transaction. Now wait just a minute… when a business goofs up and it’s their fault they usually eat it, especially if they want to keep good coustomer rapport! At least that’s been the case with every merchant who has blundered a transaction that I was ever involved with. Sure, mistakes are made everywhere all the time and I could see owing money if it was several hundred dollars but to call and say you owe us a measly 10 bucks speaks volumes to the integrity and ethics of a business and it makes me wonder who else have they shystered by engaging in such questionable business practices. Begrudgingly my wife did go by(burning her fuel and time) and pay the extra $ 10. Personally, I wouldn’t have done it! That’s okay though because with that $ 10 they bought themselves the following: A bad(albeit greedy) reputation, a poor review here on Unilocal,a bad name to be told to all my wife’s friends by word of mouth and one less customer!
