Arco AmPm

I would definitely give this place a negative star if possible… yesterday morning I stopped at the gas station on my way home from the gym and filled up my tank. I then realized I had locked my keys and cell phone in the car so I thought no big deal I’ll ask the gas station attendant to use a phone to call a tow truck… I had just spent money filling my car up its not like I wasn’t a paying customer. The guy refused to allow me to use the phone to call a tow truck to help me get my keys. I am a young 22 year old female stranded at a gas station with no keys or phone and he couldn’t even have the decency to help me get a tow truck so I could move my car from the pump I was blocking and his excuse «I don’t want people calling this number back» needless to say I won’t be returning there ever again!

They don’t even deserve a star. Unilocal needs a negative star option. This morning I was running late and had a very low tire. I stopped to get air and get the kids to school. The machine was not on and had quarters lodged in the coin slots. I told my son to go tell them to turn the air on, after all it is CA state law to provide air. My son waited in line for several minutes. I walked in and said «Can you just turn the air on please» the man behind the counter starts yelling at me about me yelling to turn the air on. I informed him that I was frustrated with my son, it had been a bad morning and I had a flat tire. At this point he keeps arguing at which point I tell him to turn the air on. I continue to make a purchase (may as well since I’m here) and an employee from across the store starts screaming obscenities at me. I tell him to butt out, it has nothing to do with him. At which point he walks over and tells me to «shut the F*ck up» I tell him to walk away and that he will not get away with talking to a customer like that. He goes and gets his phone to show me a picture of him in uniform with an assault weapon and demands respect. Needless to say we will never be back to this location. They need to get their employees in check. I would never speak to a customer like that!

This is a nice AM/​PM. Pretty new and great prices on gas!

I was in the store the other night, 10:30 or so. I waited in line to get to the front, and handed the clerk (indian, goatee thing and long hair) my lottery tickets (5 tix, total of 30 bucks)
He’s all «Lottery is closed» I said you just helped the lady in front of me? He looked at me, reached over to the machine, and turned it off.
Then he looked me right in the eye and turned his nose up.
I will never go back as long as that «person» is working there.

If I could give no stars I would! The management and employees here are so rude! I spend my hard earned money here for gas cards that don’t even work and when you ask management what’s the issue the response is «I don’t care what do you want me to do» I was disrespected and without gas because they weren’t willing to fix the issue. Management was rude and used foul language towards me. I thought management was supposed to help customers but that’s definitely not the case at this particular location. DONT GO HERE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT GIVE ANYTHING FOR IT. Management told me to get the fuck out smh is that how you talk to customers when there’s an issue?!?

This is one of the newer Arcos, if no the newest one in town. The prices for gas are actually really good when you compare them to the 76 station right across the street. One of the best things about this station is the amount of gas pumps that they have. The one thing that I really dislike is waiting inline for gas, but you don’t have to worry about that here. Also, the AmPm is really nice as well. they have the basic things that all gas station convenient stores do: random selection of food items, coffee that doubles as rocket fuel, enough candy to put you into diabetic ketoacidosis, and a variety of cold beverages. I actually really like the staff. I generally have pleasant interactions with them. Sometimes, the can seem as if they are a little on edge, but I would be to if the place that I worked at could be easily robbed. So, I can’t knock them for that.
Just a note, if you use a debt card for any thing, there will be a 35 cent charge.

I just went there today and was about to pump gas $ 40 worth. I seen a male homeless man collecting bottle and cans from the garbage. 2 young male men came out and moved his shopping cart. I got out of my car and handed the homeless man 3 empty water bottles. The employee then RUDLY said thanks for encouraging him mam. I replied with your welcome. He then proceeded to be ruder and so I then said I guess I just leave then and not get gas. He said fine bye. I then drove off pulled over and told him he needed to work on his customer service. He proceded to yell, scream, and curse me out. Saying he didn’t need my 40 cents. I corrected him and said get it right its $ 40. I drove off mad. I feel he could of worded his words differently and been a lil nicer to not only me but the homeless man who was not asking for money just cleaning up the recycles. Have a heart AmPm I do believe its the owners son who feels he can treat people that way. I will be filing a complaint with the arco corporate.

Brand new ARCO AM/​PM! So nice & clean! Took them awhile to get it built but it was worth the wait! They have the cheapest gas around too! Keep up the good work guys!
