Fast Eddie’s MOAB

It’s an institute here in Modesto. Burger joint with specialty selections. Good fried things like onion rings and zucchini. The real star here is the interior which is decorated with antique stuff peppered by skydiving photos and a big fish tank.

Great food cool service. I love all the timed artifacts I’m stuck on the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms. I switch back in forth between the chicken and steak. I normally get the curly fries with it and ask for water because the fountain drinks can be a bit costly and with all the calories I’m consuming I can cut corners by drinking water instead over all I would recommend and I will return for my usual

I love, love, LOVE this place. As a Modesto native, this has always been a splurge of mine. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. Have you ever heard Camille’s laugh? It’s the best.
I can’t get enough of this food, seriously. Every time I come here it’s like I’m here again for the first time. I know times are hard these days but I hope Moab never goes out of business.

Food was good but only gave 3 stars because of service. Dude was kinda rude not really helpful. Kinda disappointing because as a kid me and my dad loved coming here. At least the food is still on point if that falls off then their done for

Pretty good food, but kind of greasy. Love the history with this place. The price are fair too.

My son loves this place! He says it’s the best burger in town! He always orders the Mega MOAB with a side of onion rings. Today I’m trying the Philly cheese steak. I will up date my review after I finish partaking of this supposed favorite.

Iv never been there in my life so I walked in no one greeted so I sat down for few minutes I went to the front for someone to help me I told the male sever Iv never been here before he gave me the route… as I sat down the lady server said very rude“its says order here” so I left worst costumer service ever in my life will never go again

This place is legendary! Food is consistent, not your typical burger joint menu they offer a variety of items. Décor is nostalgic but is what make’s this place a classic.

I love this place! The atmosphere is so cool and inviting and really makes the place personal. I just got a reg Moab cheeseburger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. Not to mention it was huge. It’s a little pricey for a burger joint but my new favorite pig out place hands down.

Smallest patty I’ve ever gotten here. Super over cooked and dry. I paid and told them I’d be back in 10 mins to pick up. Went to my car to make an important call. The lady screamed my name across the lot (I was parked by the liquor store) several times, super loud until I just had to end my call. I felt like my mom was calling me in from playing outside after dark. Shake was good.

Cool spot in Modesto, friendly staff and good food. Will be back for more fried mushrooms and Philly cheesesteak.

I love this place. Since I have been eating here for half of my life. I still remeber a kids next to the Pinball machine in 9^th grade. Chicken griller is an amazing mess. I love it.
Bback in the old days there was always incredibly beautiful women working there and they were so sweet. Last visit it was alll guys. I miss the happy girls.

Best place if you haven’t ate here your missing out. Vary nice people they get it right the first time. Nothing bad to say at all food is awesome burgers are big ummm

A little pricey but excellent and prompt service I like it’s rustic looking ambiance the food is hot and pretty good size portions and the staff is friendly I’d deffentlye come back

This was my first time there since I was maybe four, so it doesn’t count! Lol had the philly cheese steak sandwich. The inside is homey and we had to play the arcade and shoot some zombies.

Love this classic Modesto jewel. The shakes are worth the wait– my boyfriend loves the peanut butter while I’m into the chocolate. The burgers and onion rings are good and the Mac n cheese bites are a rad and re treat. The service is a little slow and I guess it’s not cheap but it’s always satisfying.

If you are not eating MOAB then I have no clue what you are doing with your life.

Best homemade burgers in town! Love this place love all the food they serve! They have burgers, sandwhiches, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, and shakes. Great place to fake kids they got all sorts of nice looking things including a fish tank with odd looking fishes. Also have arcades for kids to play.

You want to eat at an old school place, with fresh hot food made with a mom & pop pride? Well, if you’re in Modesto, look no further!
Ordering your food, you can do so outside at the window and get it to go/​or outside, as there are a few tables available in the patio area. Inside, you can also order your food at the counter and then find a seat somewhere in the dark, cluttered environment. There’s a lotta memorabilia, mish mashed together scattered everywhere. Kinda kooky but charming. However, the wood booth seating is not very likable, and I wish they had some cushioning for the chairs.
Oh, the food. Awesome burgers, but the Philly Cheesesteak is where it’s at (its listed on the «Specials» window – look for it if you’re a first timer!) Marinated steak meat, soft, tender, with delicious seasoning on a toasted bun with caramelized onion, green bell pepper and, for a little extra, mushrooms. Some melted cheese on top, too. Delicious, and the portion size is super generous. With fries & a large coke, about $ 13.
Next time you want a meal on a bun, skip the fast food places and come here!
