I was here with my wife yestetday eating. And a homeless man came in and paid for a meal. The prick Distric manager got mad at the staff for allowing him in. thats discrimination you should lose you job as a Dm. He has every right to eat here also he paid.

Sandra was our server. She was the Best… great attitude great service and a very nice smile. We left her a $ 5.00 tip. Thank you Sandra for being such a happy person.

As most buffets the food is salty, greasy but the service is good, I mostly come here for the salad bar.

If you’ve ever been to other Hometown Buffet’s this ones definitely better. There’s more selection. Even the entrees are better. I thought since its a chain, they all have to serve the same food. My whole family of like 20 came in after camping and they accommodated well.

We have been coming here as a tradition when my dad comes into town for years and this place has declined so much we have decided we will change our tradition. That is so sad. The food is cold, no selection, terrible quality. The lettuce was all ice and when I said something the lady rolled her eyes at me. The prices are outrageous for what you receive. Also, I agree with another reviewer, the manager all he does is chat with the girls and does not care about what is going out on the floor.

I took my wife and children to home town for dinner. Every thing was fine until we went to get our drinks. The smell of Puke Vomit throw up overcome us my wife lost her disire to eat because of the smell of VOMIT so I can only go with one star

Didnt want to be too harsh and give A 1 star. Honestly this is the nastiest buffet I’ve ever been to. I had been wanting to try it out and on a Sunday night me and my bf went to try it out. There wasn’t anything that caught our attention. Even the desert was nasty. The only thing I did like was the cheesecake, had 3 of those, to full fill my hunger lol. I will not return.

Had dinner last night. No crowds. No hot food. manager spent more time chit chatting with the girls in the front then spending time making sure the restaurant was clean and that they had hot food available. Food was greasy and soup was cold.
Very limited choices. cooks seemed overwhelmed and unconcerned about the quality of the dishes they were putting out. Chicken underdone.
horrible experience and i will never eat there again and will tell everybody I know about the lack of leadership. Including writing a letter to the corporate office.

The food was okay, however it was the dessert section and manager I had a issue with.
I brought my family and friend here to eat on a Sunday afternoon, the problem begin when I tried dispense some frozen yogurt from their frozen yogurt machine and their machine shot out ice cream to the floor.
There should have been a broken sign on it.
I then attempted to get some hot fudge and the hot fudge device did the something however I was burned when this happened from the hot fudge hitting my hand.
I let the manager know about my experience and he did nothing except offer me a band-​aid sarcastically.
I will not be giving my business to this place after this experience I will be going to other buffets with cleaner updated equipment.
This place is not recommended unless your really desperate to eat at a buffet, just go to Golden Corral so much more superior service and food!

I try to go to hometown buffet at least once a month to check to see if the food is improving. a couple of times that i have went with my family i found that the food was not so warm when i took my plate to sit down and eat. the other time they advertised that they had steak and what not and we get there and there’s no steak. they were serving something else. so my kids were mad.(they are steak lovers). last time i had the mashed potatoes and they were really salty alolng with the chicken. the people that work there are good. very good service indeed. but the food just needs to improve so usually where our family fun nights we go to golden corral. =) sorry hometown you were my favorite. but golden corral is beating you on the food! =/.

I like Home Town every once in awhile but the prices are getting really expensive. The food isn’t amazing but it is usually decent, unless you go a half hour before closing time, they should charge less because the carving station is bare. The fried chicken isn’t consistent, sometimes its like it has a greasy batter stuck to it instead of a nice crust. The staff is friendly and the place is generally clean. The person who found a hair and went on and on must not dine out, the food is made by humans and sometimes you might find a hair, it happens, get over it. I miss the fried Chinese chicken livers.

I use their email/​text ‘crave’ coupons, that way I can afford to eat there.

very friendly staff they greet you with great smile. All staff was kind and made sure My family and I were taking care off. It’s a million times better than Golden Corral.

My family and I come here pretty often: it’s great for the price. Love the new renovations they have done and the new items they added. The food is always good, and the staff is always amazing. The girl helping in our section, Sandra, was so helpful and nice. It was busy and she was working really hard to make sure everybody had everything they needed and that the used plates were removed. She was very nice to the kids and so were other members of the staff. It’s refreshing for workers to be nice to the kids and not act annoyed by them. It’s a great buffet.

Two stars is for the polite staff, but the Food is mediocre. Bathrooms were disgusting. There were no paper towels, the toilet stalls were dirty and falling apart. At least twice, my family and I could not locate any silverware because they were out. Salad plates were not stocked either. I hadn’t been here in years & now I remember why. Disappointing

First impression: The restaurant was clean and the service was helpful/​friendly to us. Though I have come in on occasions where the place was a mess and service was downright terrible, lucky day I guess.
The food however isn’t the greatest and is dished out in quantities over quality, most of the dishes seem like just plain junk food. Many were dried out or were swimming in grease and salt.
They have a nice selection of deserts (various cakes, pies, and ice cream) but nothing exciting, just your generic deserts.

Got a «Buy and adult breakfast get one free» coupon which was great, but… they were super packed. Long line waiting to be seated, long line out the door waiting to pay, a lot of food containers empty, no silverware, no cups, no plates, also no toilet paper and no paper towels. Pretty pathetic.
I’m just glad we had a coupon.

YUCK! The kids wanted to go to Golden Corral but the last two time we went wasn’t good. So we tried HomeTown again after a lot of years. I wasn’t impressed to say the least.
The tables were not cleared offen enough all around us. It wasn’t that busy. But this one table was 5+ plates high waiting to be taken away. I don’t like a dirty plate sitting in front of me and that makes for another poor rating.
The girls working didn’t look they liked their job either. The price was not worth the salad. Buffets are just not like they use to be.

this place was very interesting but I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t junk food here. The balloon Guy was cool, he sure made some amazing creations with those balloons. Boy this place was sure obese capital tho. I kinda felt bad for the obese kids too. It was pretty gross I even saw an older obese lesbian couple feeding each other chicken. This place didn’t even have a chocolate fountain wth. There was some homeless people at the front door luckily I had some biscuits in my pockets to give them. The food here was pretty much all greasy.
