Mountain Mike’s Pizza

Was greeted by a man who clearly hates his job. I could tell he was counting the minutes until he could get the heck out of there.
We got there as the pizza buffet started, got a salad from the salad bar, there were no forks so I asked someone who worked there and he had to go dig around in the back. The toppings at the salad bar were old, the mushrooms tasted horrible, I didn’t eat anymore of my salad after that. About ten minutes later they put out 1 pizza. Half pepperoni half Hawaiian. I grabbed a piece of each and waited for them to put out a different kind. And waited. And waited. Half hour later they put out the exact same kind! I’ve been on a diet for months and this pizza buffet was my 30 pounds lost «reward» hah. Wasn’t worth the carbs! The plates had bits of dried food stuck to them. Gross. I could hear the guy that took my order yelling at the younger kid who worked in the back. Just an overall bad experience. I’ll go to round table next time, their garlic twists are so good.
Don’t get me wrong, I love mountain mikes pizza but this «franchise» location needs to go. Where’s Undercover Boss when you need them? I’ll continue to eat at different Mountain Mikes locations but you couldn’t pay me to go to this location again.

The lighting is too bright at this location ughh. Thank goodness I’m just picking up and don’t have to stay.
I like the environment and set up a lot more at the McHenry location. It doesn’t take away from the well tasting pizza.
This location just happened to be more convenient since its on my way home.

Very tasty, nice customer service. My wife and I ordered a split pie (she doesn’t like pepperoni and pineapple, go figure!) and they were totally cool with that and it was super tasty. I can’t muster the 5-​star rating bc the best pizza I’ve ever had is not Mountain Mikes. But they get the job done.

Won’t accept coupons from website for delivery. It’s 2016– I shouldn’t have to print out a coupon. This mountain mikes won’t ever be getting my business.

Pizza is good. Customer service is a 2 out of 10. For some reason every time I have called in to order I’m on hold for longer than 5mins. By then I hang up and call the one on Mchenry. They never ur me on hold for that long and have nice customer service:

This is the worst place I have ever been to it took over an hour to 2 pizzas and the worst part about all this is the guy making the pizza has a big beard and has no hair net very horrible customer service don’t waste ur time with this place go to round table is way better

Terrible service! I ordered a pizza, they forgot about the order. Took 1 hour to get it. They tried to use the excuse that the people before us Had phoned it in advance, but the couple before me ordered the usual in front of me They ate and left as we sat and waited. No apologies no discount. I also ordered my pizza with no Onions and guess what i got Onions and lots of them.

Do not be a disabled person on a restricted diet that can eat hardly anything and ask for special consideration from this restaurant they will not do anything but charge you extra for the exact same thing and toppings twice absolutely ridiculous to treat a disabled person this way. Ordered my pizza & cause I can only eat cheese, bread & tomato sauce on my restricted diet list I asked for the toppings on the pizza that I’m sharing with my parents to be moved from the cheese only side to be put on the other half of the pizza, since last week I only got a few mushrooms & pepperoni on my parents side & im already paying for the toppings on both sides even if I can’t eat them… instead I was charged for double toppings even if they were the same toppings I already was paying for by only getting half cheese on one side… always awesome to have to pay Double for something you already paid for… just lost a long time customer for that extra couple of dollars… hope it was worth it

Went there today for my friend’s son’s birthday party. I had never been to any Mountain Mike’s before so I don’t know if all locations are as disgusting as this one.
I went to get soda and I didn’t even dare to put lids on our cups bc the lid holder was so filthy. It had dry sticky soda splattered on it. Like, come on now, is it that hard to wipe it down?
My son had to use the restroom so his dad accompanied him. When he came back, he told me I should take him to the women’s restroom because the men’s was gross and had urine all over the toilet seat. I took my son to the other restroom. It was so nasty! I’m sure they haven’t bothered to clean that bathroom in weeks! They also didn’t even have paper towels. (I like to use a paper towel to open the restroom door after I’ve washed my hands).
The pizza itself was mediocre. I wouldn’t go back even if they start to clean. For the best pizza in the 209, go to Eddie’s in Stockton!

We only use three pizza places… the cheap one, and the two «best pizza in Modesto» ones. Mountain Mikes is one of the «best pizza’ places. My husband says you have the second best sauce in the city. (I disagree.) Your meats are lean and of quality. Even while busy, your employees are courteous. Once, I ordered the Maui pizza. I had requested the white sauce instead of the one it comes with. You replaced the pizza without argument. Getting the replacement was easy. You are wickedly accurate with your delivery times.
Best of all, your delivery guy last night was honest. I had been told the cost was $ 38.89. I gave him $ 40 and said to keep the change. He asked if I was certain. So I said, «$ 40 minus $ 38.89 is what? $ 1.11?». He told me the total was $ 35.89, and gave me he correct change.

The pizza is great. BUT we dined there on a Friday night, about 6:30. It didn’t appear there was a manager anywhere. The restaurant is filthy. The employees ate unkempt, AND I had to watch Fox News, which is an appetite killer. I will never go there again. I’ll eat at another Mt. Mike’s. This location is disgusting. For the price, I want a better dining experience.

Thanks to the manager (Chris) i had a better experience last night. The service was quick and my pizza was delicious. Thxs again Chris.

Good pizza, if a little spendy, but that’s why you take advantage of their Tuesday deal. The lunch buffet is always a good value. The manager (red-​headed guy) is always super nice, as is most of the staff. The place is clean with plenty of seating.

Pizza is awesome… was kind of leary of coming here after reading review about sandwiches with no meat then i told myself who goes to a pizza joint for sandwiches isnt thats what subway is for duh pizza came out perfect and bubbly… beer was cold and wings were slamming would definitely recommend and one the plus side plenty of seating for large crowds and lots of arcade games for the kiddies definitely coming back oh yeah

If I could put a zero that would be so much better! I ordered 4 linguica sandwiches and 1 salami. Came to $ 40.25. They arrived approximately 50 mins later. With no meat! Only onions. I called spoke to Angel she said «I put them together myself» basically I was lying! I said she needed to fix this now. She said she would give me my money back and bring new sandwiches. I said fine. Then Crystal called back (very rude) saying she would not refund my money. I needed to order sandwiches with «extra meat» next time! I said you didn’t put any! She debated for 5 mins. And then told me I will give you new sandwiches. I told her I disagree with them changing the deal but without my car I had no choice. Told me to call Chris the manager on Monday. She would not give me a corporate number! I am so angry! They are rude and unprofessional and liars! Save your money they are scammers!

This is the place to go for garlic sticks with cheese. Another Mountain Mike’s that I go to has wimpy garlic sticks with cheese. The ones at this location are thick, just like a pizza. The large order for $ 10.99 is by far the best value. It’s almost like getting a large pizza except it’s $ 7 cheaper. There isn’t very much business, so you get your order taken and served quickly. I’m giving 5 stars just for the large order of garlic sticks with cheese. It’s the best value on the menu!

Mountain Mike’s is consistently good pizza. I like the buffet. They keep the stocked with variety and more importantly, they keep it clean.

Luv luv this place n food. however minus the 1 star for the lighting. tacky n can’t stand those dang florescent bulbs

Pizza is always delicious & hot. Tuesday nights discount makes it a very inexpensive meal. The nicest people at Orangeburg location. It’s our weekly treat.
