I was craving donuts so thought we would check out this local donut shop vs. Dunkin Donuts across the street and so glad we did! The service was quick and friendly. I was afraid there wouldn’t be much selection at 8pm, but was pleasantly surprised to see they were well stocked with more waiting to be placed in the case. Their maple bacon bar and the cinnamon pinecone were my absolute favorite. Donuts seem to have more character here than you will find across the street at Dunkin. We’ll be back! FYI $ 5 minimum on debit transactions.

You can always expect fresh donuts and coffee from T’s! The best in town! They’ve been serving Modesto for years and are a greatly run family business.

Not impressed anymore… I grew up in Modesto, Mr. Ts WAS the best in central Cali to get the greatest donuts! I’ve been here 3 times in the past couple months and every time I brought them home I was completely dissatisfied BUT the other day I brought home a dozen donuts and ended up throwing them out! They were swimming in grease and the after taste made my stomach turn… my mom took one bite and threw it out. People say you need to get there when they’re fresh but I’ve had them fresh and are terrible… the service is ok but don’t expect to sit around, they move people through like cattle ONLY because they are always quite busy and the shop has limited space so I understand. I just know what Mr. Ts use to be and very disappointed… Dunkin donuts need to leave because I want the old Mr. T fresh, soft, good quality donuts I use to crave!

Best donuts ever and they’re open 24 hours! :D sometimes the place is packed but in my opinion its totally worth it! I normally hate apple fritters and maple but theirs are absolutely amazing! This is the only place I’ll go to buy donuts!

So I am in Modesto for the summer and was curious to check out Mr. T’s donuts again. I’ve been twice and had cronuts and a few varieties of glazed donuts. All are delicious, but I am a fan of the cronut! Wow! Really delicious and fresh! Everything that I’ve had here is fresh, soft and yummy. Both times since my original review, I have had nice service. In fact, I was in there when two young girls(maybe 8 or 9) were scrutinizing the case and asking a million questions before they took forever to pick out the exact donut(«not that one, the next one behind that pink one»), but the staff was patient and answered their questions and never once lost patience. Yes, they are somewhat expensive, but you get quality donuts and they are fresh. For those two reasons, I am willing to pay the price to ensure that I have a yummy donut experience.

My sister recommended Mr. T’s and she had mentioned that it’s way better than Dunkin Donuts. The first time I had Mr. T’s I had the coconut cream filled. Ohhhh myyyyyy gaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! It was soooo freaken GOOOOD!!! Since we were in Modesto, I decided to stop by at Mr. T’s right after DD. I’m glad I did because this place has the best donuts. If only I lived in the Valley then I’d come here everyday. Hahahaaaaa… I used to live in the Valley and there were not a lot of good places to eat. I also like the exteriors of this shopping center because it reminds me of the Western. The owners were so nice and they care about their customers. The donuts are a bit pricey but it’s worth it.

Expensive, small donuts. Mean counter service when we ordered a mixed dozen she was mad to hear what we wanted in it I felt in a hurry to leave, had heard it was great there but I disagree.

I’ve been going to Me. T’s for years and found them to be consistently good. The shop is always clean and even though the service is not overly friendly they keep the line moving fast. With that said I think they might want to change the name to something like,“Tom Thumbs Donuts” or maybe, ‘Tiny Tim’s Donuts”. The donuts have gotten smaller and smaller while the price as Increased dramatically! There buttermilk bars are so small it’s almost like some kind of joke being perpetrated on the customer. I ‘ve stated looking for an alternative donuts shop, but will continue to patronize Mr. T’s until I find one. Valley Donuts would be a strong contender if their cake donuts were better. Their Raised donuts are definitely better than T’s.

Mr. T’s is where it’s at for yummy, fresh donuts! The maple bacon bar is my favorite and I love that they use real bacon to top it. Their twists are amazing and so are their donut holes! They’re so fluffy and fresh, they basically melt in your mouth. Bonus, this place is open 24 hours, so unlike other donut shops, you’re guaranteed fresh little morsels of deliciousness! They even have croissnuts, which I cannot wait to try! A cross between a donut and a croissant? Count me in! Their staff is friendly and always fast, which I definitely appreciate, due to how busy they can be! Donuts are so simple, but done right, they can be super delicious and Mr. T’s does not disappoint!

So I’m originally from the Bay Area. My roommate and I decided to take a gander down to the Central Valley to take a tour of a cheese factory(random, but that’s college for ya). Let me make one thing clear: stopping at this donut place was the absolute highlight of that trip. Nothing compared. Not the cheese factory, not the drive, not the multitude of cute cows I saw along the way. Nothing. You might even say I drove over 80 miles JUST for these donuts. We ended up here on a Saturday, possibly around 10:30 am and the place was packed! There was barely enough time for me to process all the donut varieties before I was asked what I wanted to order. Normally, I would be irked at the rush, but in this case I was pressured to go all«love at first sight» and pick the first donut that caught my eye. But alas, I wasn’t disappointed. I took one bite into my sprinkled chocolate cake donut and knew, then and there, that I had met my donut soulmate. Each nibble was absolutely delectable. Did I mention I only paid 95 cents? Less than a dollar! I actually applauded my restraint for not ordering a whole box. Word of caution: bring cash! Otherwise you’ll end up paying $ 0.75 as a card fee. I almost wish I lived in the area so I could visit this 24hr donut shop on the regular. Perhaps it’s for the best – I’m satisfied with the knowledge that my one true donut love lives on.

I am not a donut guy, but someone told me about this place. In which, I came here to buy 3 dozens of donuts for a meeting. While waiting, I had to order a donut, the twist. First bit, my goodness, the freshness and the taste just overwhelmed me. The donut tasted like a clean donut. I loved it. Prices were reasonable. The service was great! This place is your typical donut place, which is opened 24 hours. If I knew about this place earlier, you would have found me there studying all night long. Rating: Donut: 4 Ambience: 4 Price: 4 Service: 4 Overall: 4 Great place.

Rating this on the service and not the donuts. The donuts are still delicious. But I don’t think I’ll be coming back there’s other Donut shops that has same or better quality for the price. 1. Bring cash. They charge 75 cent to swipe. Even if o order 2 dozen there’s still a charge. I find that shady. I could have gotten an extra donut lol. The prices went up on the dozen. I spent borderline $ 10 on a dozen donuts. That’s outrageous. 2. The girl with the tats was so distracted with the presidential news I kept on having to repeat myself which donuts I wanted. Very unprofessional. What’s up with the no name tag. I guess this one will be called tatted and distracted girl. And lastly sometimes the front door is locked and customers will have to enter the side door. This time the side door was closed and I had to enter the front. The same girl was so distracted she didn’t notice me trying to figure my way in lol. It was a cool donut experience and late night donut runs. Farewell Mr. Ts.

I first started coming here when I was in high school. Nothing draws the over-16-but-under-21 set like the words«open 24 hours.» Being too young for bars, & being in Modesto, it was either Lyon’s or Mr. T’s for a «nightcap»(coffee, tea, or hot chocolate) back then. No one went to Denny’s. Forward to today, & Mr. T’s is still going strong. Still open 24 hours, & still Modesto’s favorite donut joint. This is a real donut shop, & these are real donut shop donuts. Nothing gourmet, & no frills. But that’s what’s great about Mr. T’s. The staff are sweet, the donuts are fresh & pillowy, & they’re not trying too hard. No gimmicks. No splashy billboards or TV ads. Just an old school family donut joint dedicated to giving you your donut fix whatever time of day or night. And they stay current. You can’t get to NYC to grab a cronut from the Dominique Ansel Bakery, where it originated? No worries. You can get one here. Or maybe you can’t get to SF for a maple bacon donut from Dynamo Donuts, where all the rage started? That’s ok. You can get one here. I might go across the street to that other donut joint, but I only do the drive-thru for their coffee. This is where I go if I want donuts. 4& ½ stars.

Mr T’s was the fuel of choice for my Running Club during the Modesto Marathon after my posting pictures all over Facebook and Instagram. Of course after about 18 months of having my eye on Mr T’s I was going to ”show off” the goods to everyone. The place is fairly big inside and at around 4pm had a huge selection with a male worker in the kitchen making even more doughy goodness. Prices are cheap with a standard dozen being just $ 7.95, although it was tempting 4 was ample and came to just $ 3.75 — Blueberry Cake — 85c — Chocolate Cake — 85c — Cherry Cake( ) — 85c — Coconut( ) — $ 1.25 I have no shame in saying I ate them all myself over the next day and enjoyed every last bite. Fresh and not too sweet or greasy, I especially liked the soft doughiness of the Coconut(also filled with Coconut Cream), I’m more of a traditional Doughnut kind of person over the Cake style so it was of no surprise. The Lady working was friendly too and they also have their version of the Cronut also. The Croissnut!($ 2.25 each)
