This Starbucks is incredibly slooooowwwww… I am a gold card carrying Starbucks freak, and I have had Starbucks all over America thanks to my many travels. This is by far the worst Starbucks in Modesto and you would think that after waiting an eternity to get your coffee that the order would be correct. Well, my dear caffeine addicted friends of Unilocal,you would be mistaken! Extra time equates to carefully constructed, delicious caffeine filled libations made to your specifications? Nope. Not at this location. I’ll try again since it’s right by me, but my hopes are dashed if I base it on my last two visits.

Actually went to a Starbucks in the evening, instead of my usual morning romp and it was a very pleasant surprise. They offer beer and wine and tasty sandwiches, aside from their usual coffee options. Fast and friendly service. There was a wonderful musical duo that fit in perfectly with the mellow atmosphere. Very nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Andrea was very rude person. She messed up my drink and blame me that it was my fault. The workers was not helpful at all.

Groupon has a $ 10 Starbucks gift card for $ 5. Not sure how long it will last. Down fall you can only buy one. Hurry buy them now! Iced Carmel Macchiato here I come.

I was in the drive through for at least 20 — 25 Min. The service is always soooooo slow at this locations. It took them about 3 – 5 Min per car. I ordered an iced coffee and had to Waite at the window for about 4 min before they gave me my drink. Horrible services.

I live at this Starbucks and they’re always fast, attentive, and welcoming. Every fast-​paced business has its good and bad days, ease up Unilocalers.

I usually go to this Starbucks when I want Starbucks, but today was different. I went and got my usual drink, and I was half way through it when I decided to take the lid off to see that there was a layer of oil on the top of my coffee, where did this oil come from? who knows! I was majorly digested, and couldn’t finish my coffee.

This Starbucks is a sh/​t show. Incredibly slow service no matter what time of day you come. I went inside this morning and placed an order for one drink and a toasted breakfast sandwich, in line after only one other person with no one else waiting for their drink.
Knowing that even an order as simple as mine would take an excessive amount of time, I drove across the parking lot to pump gas. I drove back, sat in my car to answer an email, went inside and my order was STILL. NOT. DONE.
The manager of this location needs to get his or her life together and train their slow-​as-​molasses staff to work quicker.

Every Time I come to this location they are always slow service inside the store and in the drive-​thru! Hire more people!

Woot woot! They serve alcohol now… Doesn’t get any better than that. There’s plenty of great food to choose from now too

Isn’t anyone else here bothered by the qty of flies inside the store?
Can’t Starbucks afford some fly traps?

Staff is good and fast but I can’t stand when a store isn’t bothered by flies.

Good atmosphere, but slow service. There was a lady in the drive thru in front of me who took around 10 mins while there was a long line behind us. When I went up to the window, I waited for my drink and asked if I could also have a cup of water. The employee told me to pull out front and she’ll have someone bring it out to me. I stayed about 5 min at the window because I wanted my Starbucks card reloaded to get a star for my drink when I paid for it. When I waited out front, no one came. If she meant for me to get back in line to get my water, that is ridiculous. I wasn’t going to wait another 15 or so min in the long line to just get water. So to summarize, I didn’t recieve my water, nor did I recieve my star. At least the other employees are usually smooth-​going.

For God’s sake, cover the steamer you use to froth milk. It makes a deafening screeching sound in every cellphone in use in the joint.

Agreed the layout is pretty spacious. You’ve got options. You’ve got your long table, your short table, your tall table, and your coffee table with leather chairs.
And of course you’ve got your options on drinks. I mean after all, it’s Starbucks.
I waffled between four stars and five stars, thinking, «Self, Is this As Good As It Gets?» And I decided NO. For as much as I am admittedly a Starbucks fan, it’s never going to be as good as it gets.
As for this particular ‘Bucks, even with the comfy seating and the easy parking and no line to order, still not as good as it gets. I had a little issue with the service. The woman taking my order was pretty great, and pretty cool about me taking some time loading the app for my free drink. But the barista who made my drink didn’t ever call it out. So I waited and waited and waited. And finally, when I started to complain to my friend, she pointed out that my drink had been there all along, hiding by the lip of the counter. Ugh, now my frapp is melted.

This is probably the best Starbucks I have ever been to. The inside is huge and there is also a drive thru. There is an outside sitting area facing the road which is a great place to go to. I would recommend this location.

Largest Starbucks I’ve ever seen! Great service, quick to make my drink, a lot of seating and outlets (perfect for me.) My only gripe which isn’t a huge deal but what’s up with the coded restrooms that they can only open with a secret code? Maybe I’m just new around here and don’t understand Modesto just yet lol but it just kind of shocked me.

This is like one of the BIGGEST Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The really odd thing is that you have this huge place, but then you have a lock on the door that requires a code. So to use the bathroom you have to get an employee to come open it for you. They might as well hire just hire an employee to stand at the door. Hey Starbucks, how about just putting the code on the receipt?

This is a very spacious Starbucks with a lot of seating and a drive through. Staff is friendly and everything is clean and inviting. I like the ruggedness of the interior. It almost has a log cabin feel. The bathrooms require one of the employees to type in the code in order to let you in.

Im a gold card carrying Starbucks fan! This location does not cut it. I’ve given them a few shots because they were new but seriously this was the last straw. Latest order thru the drive thru was one drink and two pastries. It took them 11 minutes to fulfill the order. There were five cars ahead of me but I was sitting at the window for four minutes. Downtown is so much faster and they always get the order right. Avoid at all cost. Slow and half the time the order is wrong from no shots to the wrong shots to the cup not filled all the way.
