You want boba you got it! Almost comparable to the Bay Area or SoCal but not enough just enough if you are in the area. Definitely not the worst.
Very customer friendly and accommodating. Yes, there are busy times and the wait is long but when you are the only good boba place around its to be expected. Love most of the drinks but some of my favorites are taro milk tea, honey peach smoothie, any of the royal teas, lychee black tea, and green tea topped crème. Food here is also bomb! Great snack and definitely a hang out spot for people to catch up and chill.

Best boba that I have found in town, for sure! The service is pretty hit and miss with a couple of girls that work there (some days they are super nice, and others they are not so pleasant), but the majority of the staff are very friendly and sweet. Will recommend and will always come back!
The Panda Milk Tea is quite a treat!

I’ve gone to T4 all the way over in the Dublin area for a while now, so it was a surprise to finally have one in town! I’ve been to this location a couple times now since its been open and I find the staff is far friendlier! Fast too. Some of the drinks can taste bad, but once you find a drink that appeals to your pallet, you’ll be hooked.

Just yesterday went to order some drinks. They had messed up on my order so I sent it back to get fixed! Upon leaving started having a few sips! I found plastic wraps inside my drink! Not just one but a few and I kid you not I found hair too! So disgusted! Never again! This is from my visit and not from others reviews!

It’s a decent place. The reason why I give only 3 stars is because there was nothing extra ordinary about this establishment. I went around 5pm, it was crowded in the seated area, but had no line which was nice. I order the Honey Peach Royal Tea with Lychee. My drink was finished in less that 5 minutes which was also nice. (You are able to customize it according to your ice cube or sweetness liking). Since I didn’t specify either, I assume it came out standard amount for both ice cube amount and sweetness. The taste of the drink combined with the lychee was very complimentary, but also very sweet for my preference. I would come back for this drink, and order it with less sweetener.
It was my first time here, and I was rather content. Like I mentioned, it’s a decent place.

OMG… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I’m a big fan of this place. Their popcorn chicken cooked with basil. Great drinks, friendly service and reasonable price, LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. One down side, no durian drink

My first time visiting T4 was in fact very pleasing! The staff was friendly and did not hesitate in taking care of their customers. A friend of mine has gotten a very sweet drink and I witnessed the staff agree to make a new drink for her (for free I believe).
I ordered the roasted oolong milk tea with boba, which I liked. Roasted milk teas are more of an acquired taste, as some don’t like the flavor of them, but the roasted oolong at T4 was very good. The drink at 80% sugar was not too sweet yet sweet enough to appreciate the flavor and taste of the milk tea. I also tried the rose milk tea, but I would personally prefer the roasted oolong milk tea.
This is a good place for boba because they know how to make it and make it well.

Well my wife and I had the milk to with grass jelly and I had the passion fruit with boba and it was so delicious. Great environment and great drinks. I definitely recommend this place.

Feeling compelled to write another review. Asked the cashier with the the purple hair if she could make me a mango milk tea and she answered with a blunt «no». No explanation, no sugar coating. Just no. You have the mango syrup and you have the milk tea, I don’t understand why you can’t just mix the two? Are you physically incapable of stirring syrup into tea? Is it against T4’s policy to make off-​menu drinks? Are you not in the business of catering to customer requests?
T-​Cups, downtown, will make my drink however I like it. AND they’re open later. Bye T4!

I love coming here to pick up something to drink and snack on! My favorite has to be the strawberry lemon bomb with boba. Sometimes a wait, but worth it.

This place is actually so cute. Just the vibe and ambience is really quirky and fun. I was in and out but I’ll definitely come with friends and sit next time. The service was eh. The cashier wasn’t too friendly. She wasn’t rude, but she wasn’t super nice either. Also they take their super sweet time making drinks.
I ordered a taro milk tea and it was delicious. Taro is my go to drink and I order it anywhere I find a boba shop, the bay area included. And this may be one of the best taros I’ve had. (my loyalties are to a different mom and pop shop). I’m really iffy about ordering food from establishments that don’t really specialise in food, but I will be back to try some more drinks.

Had some time to kill before traffic court so I decided to check out @t4modesto209 for the first time.
The order: The milk #thaitea was good (added grass jelly) tasted fresh like when my mom makes homemade thai tea. I also had the popcorn chicken which was pretty tasty (great texture, flavor and it was fresh.
I arrived around 12 so business was a little slow. They have a big drink selection and a small menu if u wanna grab a snack.
Very clean and played some chill music.
Good first experience, come give it a try yall!

T4 is a cute little tea shop with a huge variety of options! It’s small, but a nice place to hang out with friends and talk. The staff is friendly and they were patient in helping a friend who never had bubble tea before understand all of the options they offer.
I had a milk tea with boba. The tea was nice and the boba were perfectly sweet and chewy. My husband had the Rose tea, I liked it better than my own drink. My friends both opted for smoothies. They enjoyed them as well. The store also offers snacks, such as Basil Chicken and lumpia. Make sure you pick up a loyalty card when you go.

Service was great as always, but the long wait for the food was definitely not worth it, especially when they cost from $ 3-​$ 5 for a small box.
Also, I now know to avoid closing hours because those are the busiest and the tapioca pearls are not as great.
I’ll stick to my early mornings, evenings, and drinks only.

I usually go to T 4 in the Bay Area so I was pretty skeptical on if the one in Modesto would be good. It’s actually on the same level as all the other T 4 I have been too.
The Modesto location is much smaller than the ones in the Bay but the drinks are all the same.
We came on a weekend so it took a while for us to get our drinks but the service was good.
I ordered the Matcha with Milk and my friend had the Pear Black Tea and we both enjoyed our drinks. A lot of boba places I go to when I ask for a certain percentage of ice they tend to not modify it to my liking but they did it perfectly here. Although I would like my sweetness slightly less sweetened even tho I asked for it. Overall it was really good.

So many great flavors and various combinations! On top of the great flavors, the place has a good positive vibe to hang out with friends. Thank you guys for finally giving Modesto a taste of fresh boba tea! My only advice is to play some popular music everyone will like in the background, but nothing overwhelming so people can still talk and socialize ;)

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this boba spot. The snacks all looked tasty (I got the lumpia!), the drink selection, add-​in selection, and ice/​sugar customization are all lovely. I didn’t expect to find a shop that rivaled what I was used to back in my college days in the Bay Area here in Modesto.
My order was made quickly and the staff was friendly. I came early in the business day, so it was empty, but the service was so smooth that I would expect it to be similarly quick and friendly at a peak hour.
I’ll be back – I have more of their snacks to try!
