Things Remembered

I wish I could not give this store or its staff any star at all. After the witnessing the horrific acts of the staff I plan on filing a discrimination claim against them.
It started with an older lady with a cane waiting in line. Now it’s wasn’t a small line and it was clear she needed to be offered assistance… maybe in the way of a chair to make her disabilities less painful. She kept shifting trying to get comfortable but couldn’t.
She FINALLY got to the front counter and the staff member told her that she’d have to go ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE (after waiting in that loooong line) to fill out the paperwork and get back in line and wait again.
The disabled lady said she didn’t want to because she had already waited a long time. I see the staff member angrily grab an order sheet and step to the side and start marking the paper. The disabled lady said, looks like you’re filling it out for me and the staff member raised her voice and said, NO, I’m showing you where you need to fill it in.
The disabled lady said, Oh… I have trouble seeing. Then some other staff member (maybe a manager) cut in and proceeded to say that she remembered this disabled lady from last year. Oh man was the manager lady mean and loud.
She was yelling that this disabled lady complained that her items were engraved wrong. The disabled lady said, well they were. And the manager lady told her to leave.
These staff members should be fired immediately and ordered to provide some sort of restitution to this disabled lady. HORRIBLE people may karma bite them in the backside.
I felt horrible for this little disabled lady who had difficulty seeing. WTF is wrong with people and WTF is wrong with these staff members and HOW can a store like this not have the means to ACCOMMODATE a handicap lady with a cane and poor eyesight. I sick to my stomach. I will never ever buy ANYTHING from this store again and will make sure corporate is well aware of the kind of people they have hired.

Now this is what I call a gift shop. Wow! They have just about everything you could possibly want. If you have someone that is difficult to buy for then you should check out this store. They have some very unique gifts. As a matter of fact I found one more item so that’s two down and 5 to go.
