Excellent food. Best in this area. The fried cracker chicken is excellent. I honestly will drive the extra 15 min just to have this food over a closer Asian restaurant in the area

We order takeaway regularly and eat in the restaurant every couple of months. The food is always fresh and the staff is very friendly. Not sure what’s up with the negative reviews…

Waited 10 minutes for a table. Waited15 minutes before anyone took our order. Waited an hour and still didn’t have our food. We paid for our 2 appetizers and left. Staff was completely overwhelmed and not at all attentive or pleasant. They actually seemed annoyed that we were leaving. Will never go back.

this place should only be a sushi bar and dim sum. all the chinese appetizers i’ve had were excellent. egg rolls are fresh and not greasy. dumplings are great too. main dishes SUCK. but the sushi bar is EXCELLENT. and if you can make it in before 3pm, you will get any 3 rolls for $ 11. f’n great.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had! I come from lower westchester and there is an abundance of good Chinese food places to pick from. This place has to be the worst place I ever ate at in my history of eating asian food.
Greasy and the sauces all tasted the same when I ordered take out from here for my family. The reason is because they are not washing out the woks good enough when they making different dishes.
Very disappointing for my first Chinese experience up here.

The restaurant and food both got a face lift & they are both great ! Angel the owner is extremely helpful if there are any questions about the menu. Or if you have allergies that ask! My daughter ordered the wrong dish we did not realize it until it came to the table. We spoke to Angel & she took it back and she did not charge us & replaced it with the dish we wanted! That’s called GOOD service. Food looks & taste GREAT!!!. We go there weekly now. Love the entire staff!!!

Cortlandt Manor, NY
We used to order from them pretty regularly. The food was decent. But we found them to be very careless when it comes to food allergies. I am allergic to shellfish and we found shrimp mixed into my food. Also, their egg rolls have shrimp in them but they do not tell you this and it’s not on the menu. This was enough for us to know it was not worth the risk eating there. We found Prescious Garden in Peekskill has much better food and left us with none of the worry.

Emperor Garden once had a delicious and extensive Chinese menu with stuff that you couldn’t get anywhere else, as well as a pretty fair sushi menu. Then, something changed.
If you like sushi that’s still frozen in the middle, this is the place to go. If you have a thing for waitresses who throw your food on the table and never make eye contact or ask if you need anything else (or even say a word to you), this place is perfect.
It’s close to home, but the distance doesn’t make up for how poor the food and service are.

Food was very good but pricey and very small portions. Waitresses were rude, watching our every move with stone-​like unfriendly faces and had ill manners (no excuse me or thank you or you’re welcome). Nice ambience, with low lighting and bamboo overhead it was cozy, but they sat me, my husband and 2 kids at a small booth.
