This place puts the O In old school but only in the best ways possible. I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life and I can say that napolis is truly unique. The crust is nicely charred with just the right amount of chewiness. It has a. sharp sauce with just the right amount of bite, the cheese is obviously of a high quality. Yes you will have to beg for napkins, yes it is a dive, yes the owner is not pc, but if what you want is some of the best pizza you have ever had you can come here to get it. And. I have been since the 80’s.

Ive been coming to buy pizza from Tony and Joe for years and ive never had a better slice. The crust is cooked perfect and the sauce is great. Plus its always fun to go in and just talk to hichever one is working and whoever else is in the store, since they love to laugh and mess around with the customers. Sometimes the humor is a little raunchy but they are both respectful when there are either children or women in the store. Gotta love Naps!

Used to go to the original Napoli’s in Peekskill years ago. Hadn’t ever gotten a chance to try this place, run by the same people, since I moved out of the area. My expectations were high — the old place had excellent pizza, somewhat different than any place else around then or that I’ve found since. This version of Napoli’s produced a pizza that was excellent and very, very close the the old shop. The place itself is a dive, as other reviews mentioned, and don’t plan on eating there, but the pizza was great and I’ll definitely make an effort to get back again.

yes, there is shady activity going on here. yes, the place could be much cleaner but the pizza is delicious! when i moved up here from bklyn it took me forever to find a place that was good as well as edible. There is no specific menu and I probably will never order more than a pizza and a broccoli/spinach roll from here — it’s just not that type of place! I adore the owners, they always greet you with a smile and love to showcase the beautifully cooked pizza they just made you. the price is always right — it def is a must try if you haven’t.

Although a bit of a dingy hole-in-the-wall, this is the some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in Westchester, and I’ve tried dozens of places, including all of the«famous» spots, like Sal’s in Mamaroneck, for one. Both the regular and Sicilian pies are light yet perfectly crispy, with solid sauce and cheese. The crust is the star of the show, though. A star was deducted because the bathroom is straight up disgusting, and the owner/chef is annoyingly cheap about handing out napkins, which he literally hides behind the counter. This wouldn’t be a big deal if the pizza was a little less oily and didn’t need some dabbing before eating it. You may want to plan a trip here soon, though, because Napoli’s elderly owner looks as if he may pass on before year’s end. Lord willing, I hope this isn’t the case… I want more of that pizza!

Don’t like the pizza. Shady as all heck in here. Sells loosie cigs to underage kids. And porn mags. Dirty interior. The owners are nice enough but theres just no reason to go there unless you’re up to no good.

When we first moved up into the area in 1990, Napoli’s was our pizzeria and we frequented it for many years. It had old fashioned type pies and side dishes. It’s got an extremely small parking lot and basically, just a counter inside. However, as time went on, we found the quality of the pizza diminishing. It went from a very quality conscious product to one that just drips with oil. This is a pizza aspect that just does not thrill me at all as oil(not water) is used the stretch the sauce. If this doesn’t bother you, then you’d probably like this place. Tried it again a few months ago and found it to be very dirty inside and the pizza was just oil-ridden and tasteless. For me, with so many other pizzerias in the neighborhood, I’d sooner pass on Napoli’s.

Heard the place was a dump but had great pizza. Went last night asked for a margarita pizza. Guy told me it was very expensive to make. And if I wanted one it would be $ 35. Really? For. A pie. Left can’t tell you if pizza is any good. Can tell you guy is a a$$hole.

I’ve been coming here my entire life. The owners have known me since I was a child and the fact that I’m 30 and they still greet me by name and ask about my family is amazing. Yes, the place is a dive and there’s usually some shady activity taking place. I don’t care! The pizza is great and they will make it to your liking. If you ask for something they will try and make it for you. The baked ziit is phenomenal. Try it! I now live about 40 minutes away, but when I’m in Mohegan I never fail to stop in for a slice or two. Usually two so I can eat one the next day. Not everyone is going to love the sauce or the dough, but not everyone likes everything. I say give them a try because you might be surprised.

consistent sauce, and dough. always crispy pizza. formerly of bills food market in peekskill(yes wayyyy back) Tony and joe are the show! they are broke, their boss is cheap, yadda yadda! at 2 a.m. your name is bossman and your slice is hot! not good for menu items or wedges, stick to pizza, calzones or cheese stuffed beef patty’s.the rolled dough with broccoli or spinach is great also. Ask for a fresh made one with anchovy and tony will make it for you. e No menu, just nice these guys are old, they may forget your name, they never forget your face. P. S. this place is lucy friendly…

For us here on the border of Westchester & Hazzard County, this is the closest thing to a NYC pizza slice you can get. Just like the city, you’re not meant to hang around, you grab a slice, wolf it down and go. If you’re looking to pee go to Pizza Hut. It’s my favorite slice in the immediate area and 4 stars. Sal’s in Mamaroneck gets my favorite tag and full 5 stars.

Ok for when you are starving and nothing else around. BUT .no soap in the disgusting bathroom to wash your hands. and you can forget about drying them… no napkins when you eat… and little dead bugs along the dirty windows inside… emergency use only! Lol

are you kidding me with these reviews lol this place is the shit of all shit. i’d rather get a peice of toast from the nearby diner and wipe my cars muffler with it and eat that, instead of this health violation pizza. had a dead bug on my slice many years ago, he flicked it off and put the same slice back in the oven lmao. this guy scratches off the $ 1 mark on Arizona Iced Tea’s and charges $ 2 for them LOL. If you’re underage and need some Ciggarettes, or need a good comedy show, stop by, but steer clear of the pizza.

this place is not good and how it got mediocre reviews is beyond me. the pizza comes out looking like it was dropped on the floor and scooped back up to somewhat resemble a pizza slice. The place looks feels and smells unsanitary. You are not allowed more than one napkin, arizonas are 2 Dollars, pizza is served on a wax paper. Anytime i hear anyone say they actually enjoy this pizza i defriend them in every aspect of life and than i stab myself in the ears for even listening to such stupidity.

One of the only places in Cortlandt/Mohegan/Yorktown that is open past 10pm besides the diners and Mickey Deez. I vaguely remember coming here once post drink session and thanks to my sister for being DD. My drunker-in-crime suggested here and I was like«whaa? that hole next to shelly’s weight loss LA center?!» Ok why not. All I know is that at 12am we had a mediocre mushroom pizza and I swear he put magic shrooms on there b/c they were not of a genus species that I could recognize. Dudes were coming in and getting ciggs and other assorted under the table items which perplexed me even in my lush-life-loving state of mind. Owner is hardcore old-school mafiosa, wish he could be, type. He asks everyone if they are a homosexual. Yells at everyone about everything. I think thats just his voice? Place is small as all hell and I wouldnt use a bathroom here-god only knows if he has plumbing. Overall it was an interesting excursion in my own little town. I may go back if I ever need drunk pizza and a few rando cigs. Apparently he is a napkin nazi too so use your sleeve.

A dive for sure. The base was crunchy and somewhat chewy. There was enough cheese, but I wasn’t a fan of the sauce. The slice also left a weird aftertaste in my mouth.

Tried making this my first stop back in NY, but it took me three whole days to get here, and I drove all the way from the woods of Northern NJ. Yeah, it’s that good. Tony is alive and well, still slinging pizza, wit and sarcasm to his customers. The place is still a dive, and it’s still open late. The pizza is still my favorite in Westchester, and my beloved bacon and garlic calzone was as delicious and agida-causing as I remember it.
