The absolute best food around! I always get the Chile Relleno! The people that work behind the counter are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The restaurant is always clean and they work fast to get your food ready. Also there’s an app for Anthony’s Grill where you can order ahead, it’s called Leapset. Love, love, love Anthony’s grill!

I would give a 4 or 5 star if i havent had mixican burrito before. Im from san francisco, and having surrounded by a lot of mexican foods. Chips are freshly fried and salsa are made from fresh veggies. I ordered burrito and chips. burrito kinda dry and a little too salty to my taste, salsa from a can, and chips from the large bag you buy from costco. I had 4 cups of water eating the burrito, just too salty. But the people are friendly, i give that a 4 star customer service.

Made a pit stop here after several hours in the car. Very open and spacious clean restaurant my 2 year old was able to run laps through the spacious areas while we ate which was perfect. The food was pretty good and fresh. You get salsa and chips while you wait. Got a taco salad, bean burritos for the kids and husband had carnitas. All good food. Also fresh made horchatta, yummmy.

Best food in Mojave I hate when I have to drive through Mojave but this place breathes a little light into this town. The food here is fresh and we’ll prepared not to mention the nice staff all in all it has great atmosphere. My suggestion is Carne asada burrito with chips and salsa also the wet burrito is pretty amazing. Anthonys is a true oasis in Mojave

Awesome spot out in the desert. Very popular with the spaceport crowd — I work at one of the aerospace companies here, and if you go to Anthony’s enough you’ll eventually see all of your coworkers! Good prices and the food is delicious. Salsa is excellent as well! Protip: the breakfast burrito isn’t shown on the menu, but if you ask they will make it.

Great place to get some taco’s especially if it is taco Tuesday. Stop in and get some little tacos filled with goodness no matter what you like as your filling. The chicken could use a little bit of a kick but is still good and cooked well. The full size taco is nice as well so anytime of week I have enjoyed this place.

Yes I did give them 5 stars. The Al Pastor burrito was so good. I eat Mexican food often and this is in my top 3. I wish I lived closer. They were closing in 5 minutes, all the tables but one had chairs on them, but, they were kind and didn’t rush us and asked us to sit«no problem». We drive this way a few times a year, now we know where to stop. Easy off the freeway for RV’s too! My husband had the carnitas and when he tasted the Pastor he agreed I ordered the best!

I had the pleasure of trying their chips and salsa while at work, but everything else was eaten by the time I got to the food. The secretary told me where she got the food so I grabbed chips and salsa while on the way home. Not disappointed!!! This makes me curious what else they have there because the good publicity by workers here at work. I will be trying more than just chips and salsa next! This isn’t «gringo» salsa either. It is a salsa style that is hard to find but even harder to duplicate. So far my favorite salsas are King Taco Green salse verde and Anthony’s grill regular salsa that they serve with their chips. I have since tried their enchiladas with rice; I enjoyed them very much. This place reminds me of food Mom would cook. This is now my new local spot! They keep making food like this I will be back and with more people than ever before. Also I will continue to tell locals about it too. Great job on the meals I have had!

I thought this place was really good! We were driving back from Mammoth and looking for something other than a fast food chain that would be tasty and quick. Not knowing the area, we decided to open the Unilocal app and trust the reviews. This place was at the top of the list with enough reviews to trust and a good rating so we decided to go with it. It’s a standard quick serve Mexican food place(I got the chicken fajitas with refried beans and flour tortillas) where you order at the counter and they bring it out. Though I can’t say that it’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten, it was still tasty, well made and freshly prepared. And most importantly, it didn’t feel heavy afterward! And last but not least — the service was really great! The staff was very attentive, helpful and accommodating. If you’re looking for a quick bite and in the mood for Mexican food, I would definitely recommend stopping here.

Good food!!! I’m there on «taco Tuesdays»… All the food is hand made while you’re there. And they have great salsas. Gotta try them! I do my shopping at Stater Brothers on Tuesdays just so I have to eat here!

Was excited to try this with all of the reviews on here, plus there isn’t very many options for food here other than chains. Either I just ordered something wrong or I’m used to better Mexican food. FOOD Chicken Fajitas(1 star): Way too much salt, that’s all I tasted. They do use all white meat which is good but I just couldn’t eat it. Side of rice(2 stars): Not much flavor. Side of beans(2 stars) Salsa(2 stars) Chips(3 stars) I may be spoiled with the Mexican food in LA so this could not compare. If it wasn’t over salted it would be more of a 3 star place. Just don’t get the fajitas. SERVICE The service was good at least. Everyone was nice. Also prices were very reasonable. ATMOSPHERE Good sized restaurant. Order at the counter and sit wherever. Some tables weren’t wiped down. They try to be more high tech with the newer soda machine. PARKING Lots of space. Parking lot where Stater Brothers is in.

Stopped here on the way back to LA from the Sierras & will make this out routine food stop from now on! We just shared a breakfast burrito with sausage but it was hands down better than the bb’s we get in LA — tons of flavor and great ratios or beans, potatoes, cheese, & meat. The salsa is also full of flavor and not just watery or super spicy as I’ve found at other Mex places. The chips are fresh and thicker than normal chips and able to hold generous scoops of delicious salsa. We were happy they used 100% recycled napkins & metal utensils rather than plastic, but we wish they didn’t use styrofoam cups(that kept us from ordering a beverage). The service was really friendly and delightful. See u again soon!

Found our new spot to stop on our way to Mammoth and back! Twice in a weekend and very pleased! They said they open at 8 for breakfast too… Hopefully we’ll get to try that out next trip! Carne Asada plate was delish and the beans taste SO good. Mom had crunchy tacos — awesome. Super pleased with this tasty Mexican food! Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner.

My uncle liked the combo(chili relleno + crispy taco + enchilada) so much that he ordered it twice a week. The carnitas burrito was salty. They don’t mix it enough so the meat at the bottom gets too much seasoning at the end of the day. We were told that their least busy day is Saturday. We’ve also ordered the menudo, pozole, steak frijoles, and taco salad.

The food was good I did not expect that … We’re driving from mammoth to LA and found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try… It’s a normal place unlike other places around here look creepy and old. It’s inside a shopping center … I got chicken taco salad it was good could use some pico de gayo as a dressing… Did I mention they have TESLA parking :)

Delicious salsa — you’ll definitely want a second helping. If you ask, they have even hotter salsas behind the counter which are delicious on the entrees. We tried the combination plate, and the chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious, although my food came out with beef instead of the chicken I’d specified, so make sure to double check if you care. On second visit, I tried a wet gordo lobo burrito which was delicious(!), but ginormous. They weren’t kidding about it being gordo! Best to split this one with a friend. Very friendly staff. Nice place to have lunch on a road trip.
